Anmil sighed. Well, having a normal conversation for five minutes was a bit too much to ask for. "I'm doing decent. How about you?"

"I'm pissed off! I'm supposed to be sleeping right now, not running some orientation!" He chuckled. "Nah, I'm just messin'. I'm chill."

Yeah, absolutely! You can use the character sheet and make a character, and you just have your character be already a part of Group D for orientation. Or, you can introduce them otherwise if you’d want (late arrival, etc.)

"I'm doing fine, thank you for asking." Said Ben. He giggles a little at the joke.

"Thank you for answering. WHO'S READY TO BE ORIENTATERED?"

Would y'all prefer we RP through, say, the whole campus tour, or that I just condense it into a post or two? Maybe a mix of both?

Who was this guy? He acted so... strange. If anyone acted like that back home they would be, well, Instance didn't know what would happen to them, but they wouldn't be around anymore, that was for sure.

The man looked at his watch, then over at the groups. He scanned his list of names, then looked at Illia. “You’re later than Faeyson, even. Name and Student ID, please.”

Ilia fumbled through her backpack and handed the man her ID. "Ilia Stillwater."

Orientatered sounds like an orientation for potatoes and I love the thought of that thank you

This guy is insane, Anmil thought. "Orientatered?" Really? Anmil looked over to Katie and did the 'Crazy' sign at the orientater guy.

Yes, Anmil is calling this NPC 'Orientater guy' now.

Ben nearly laughed at that. He decided he was going to like this person. "I am!" He said.

Aaaargh! I had this impulse to reply as Gal would, originally. To those of you who don't know, Gal was a character of mine from the LGFaD RP (the predecessor of this one) who was more on the scholarly side of things. I may or may not randomly insert a "what would Gal do" occasionally during the RP. If you find it annoying just tell me and I'll find s better way to vent this.

Anyway, here it'd be asking Shaun whether or not all Spiritbinders are that energetic.

I've got my actual college orientation tomorrow and if no one says "orientatered" I am going to be very disappointed.

And yeah, I wish Tuncay was more outgoing, I feel like I'm missing out on fun interactions.

Tuncay stayed at the edge of the group; close enough that he wouldn't be noticed as standing apart from everyone else, but far enough away that he didn't have to worry about interacting with the orientation.

He smiled a little at "orientatered." Maybe I'll like this place, after all.

Jania noticed someone who was alone, and decided that this person would be much less intimidating to talk to than everyone else. So she walked up to him. "Uh, hi." She said quietly.

Apparently I didn't blend in quite enough, Tuncay thought, cringing a bit on the inside. "Hello."

"Would you mind if I joined you? It's a bit... overwhelming over there, but I might get lost if I split off of the group completely." She asked quietly, looking at her feet in a somewhat embarrassed fashion.

He's still basically in the group, just on the outskirts of it, but

"That's the spirit!" he said enthusiastically. "Bro, it's gonna be so great. Greatowl is the place to be!"

He looked at his watch and scratched his head. "I think Chancellor Combs is gonna give a boring speech to all the groups first, before we get to tour campus. Should be starting soon. You're not going to like that part, unless you, like, really like words."

Tessa, who'd been pacing nervously, noticed a slightly raised, rectangular platform that she hadn't before. It stood at one of the open field and had a podium. Currently, all the groups were still standing in the field and talking, but she noticed a few people sitting up on the stand already.

Group D. Ilia engraved the name in her head even though she would only need to remember it for a couple minutes.

"Thanks." she said hurriedly as she took her ID back.

Ilia made her way back outside, the energy she had mustered from the anxiety of being late completely drained, and the handful of cookies she had for a breakfast catching up to her. She felt weak and hungry as she dragged her feet to the group below the big letter D. And tried not to attract the leader's attention as she joined her classmates. He was already speaking, better not to stand out.

Okay, my opinion has changed, I would get very annoyed with this guy if I met him in real life.
