"It could be that this door was just added relatively lately." Inserted Ben.

He looked excited. "It could be interesting, to explore the area afterwards. Maybe just tell us about the more important classes?"

Jared glanced warily at the door. “Do you think any of us will get lost in the hallways?” He asked Shaun with a hint of worry in his voice.

"For sure! They get a bit winding sometimes but you get used to it."

"Well, sure!" Shaun said, then took off down the hallway. The owl statue continued to turn its head to face Shaun as he walked.

Shaun led them through the winding halls, taking a few lefts and rights as he did so, reading out the names of a few stone or wooden doorways as he went past them. Enchanting, Mind Harvesting, Spiritbinding—he didn't let them inside yet, that would have to wait until tomorrow, but he let them know how to get to each major class. He led them down a flight of stairs into the dungeons, which led directly down into a large, cool, damp, cave-like area. Again, benches were strewn about, and there were a few students just hanging out by some stalagmites. Shaun pointed to a doorway at the opposite end. "Aaaand that's where Necromancy's at."

"Probably because an enchanted flowerpot is less likely to break free and devour the brains of innocent students, don't you think?"

"Umm... That's a bit prejudicial." Said Ben. "I'm pretty sure that reanimated dead don't eat brains."

Also, I try to stay away from what I'd have said in a similar situation... Something about the fact that in this world, necromancers should work in places where having part of your life energy outside your body won't be problematic. So, not anywhere damp or unclean. And probably also surface level, for easiness of getting in and out - assuming that having a bit less life energy might make you a bit weak, and make it harder to, say, climb stairs.

I get it, making a necromancy class in the dungeons helps with the atmosphere, but... Practicality cones first, I think.

"Why is Necromancy so far away from everything else?"

"The basement's about as close to the rest of the classes as they all are to each other, it's just in the basement instead on the surface level."

"You'd be correct! They don't eat at all. And, well... the decor of the area is leftover from centuries ago. Crawnly Keep is the single oldest building in the entire university, and the only original one still standing. The janitorial service is right over there, and the medical station is situated right next door, also in the dungeons."

"So this is the place where we'll take our classes, huh." At least she already knew how long it took to get here running.

"Old or not, it's really pretty." Ilia said, idly wondering how she could make a flowerpot that did run around trying to eat people.

Shaun nodded, then led them back out of the dungeons, through the keep, and back out through the courtyard. The flowery door was noticeably missing from where it'd been before, but Shaun didn't seem too concerned about it.

The door that had been cause for discussion a moment ago had disappeared when they passed by the same spot. The leader had said not to worry about it but Ilia raised her hand anyway.

"Uh, our normal classrooms aren't going to disappear randomly, are they?"

She asked. She doubted it but if they did it would be a huge headache to deal with.

"Probably not." Said Ben hesitantly. "I mean, Shaun did say he never saw that one before, didn't you?" He continued, turning to Shaun.

Tak sighed. This was getting worse and worse by the minute. Disappearing classrooms, literal dungeons, potentially dangerous class projects. All they needed were some dragons. Oh wait! They had those too. But...everyone back home had said it was fun... "What are the classes like? What do we do?"

"Of course not," Shaun replied. "It's not even possible."

"Yeah, I don't even know what that was. Maybe they installed a new door there and have just uninstalled it?"

What would everyone think of time skipping sometime soon...? Do we want to do the activities he said we'd do or should we fast forward to classes? Any preferences?

There's something going on. Why is Shaun acting so nonchalant about this?

I'd kind of like to see how the introduction games go, but I'm not sure if it'll work well here.

Don't think that Ben will do much in relation to the weird door, for now. Now Gal might've done...

I feel like a horrible father, comparing his children to each other. It's fine, Ben, you posses an amazing quality both me and Gal lack: friendliness.

Any magical signs or something?

Anmil spoke up for the first time in what felt like three weeks. "Maybe different doors show up at different times. I wonder if other doors have shown up now that this one's gone".

Nothing you can make out, except for a very slight warmth you recognize as meaning that there once was something magical there, though it is now gone.
