The screaming enters Emma's dreams and twists them into nightmares. Nightmares of her time as the Nethergrim. Cold sweat breaks over Emma's skin and she begins to start shivering.

Calano woke, and wrapped Emma in his arms, whispering reassuring words.

He glared at the people gathered around the pit.

"Couldn't you all do that somewhere else and cover up the pit?"

"Sure, might as well, seeing everyone thinks I made it for some reason."

The Cellist pulled out his handy-dandy cello themed shovel, and started putting dirt back in the pit.

The nightmare shifts to Wizard's death and time freezes. Emma comes out of the trance and a feeling of peace is left from the healing. Calano screams and her eyes open to the scene of devastation. The knife in Wiz's throat, the pain through their bond as twins rips a scream from her lips. A power bursts from her and a wave of darkness consumes all the chickens. She falls beside Wizard and tries again, and again, and again, over and over to heal him. The same thing happens each time, her magic slips away from the knife wound. Her tears begin to soak her clothing and the nightmare begins again.

Calano gently runs his hands through Emma's hair as she has her nightmares.

"It's okay, it's okay," He mutters, but honestly, he doesn't know.

And then Emma's dreams shift.

The dream changes. Her clothes are still soaked with tears and sweat, but now she is in a black void. Calano stands in front of her.

His eyes are bloodshot and griefstricken, and he looks at Emma with utmost Disgust.

"Why didn't you try harder to save him?" He asks, and his voice echoes around the void.

"You could have saved him. Why did you let him die?"

Bookwyrm reaches out with his mind and slips into Emma's dream. He doesn't do anything, but does observe.

[Ranryu she/her]

Ranryu, who still hadn't figured out how to use her powers, wandered off to finish the last chapter of Evershore.

Dream Calano raises his voice, and continues to advance.

"You had the power! He was your twin! How could you let him die?"

Dream Calano grabs her shoulders and shouts, "How?!" And then he vanishes in a puff of black smoke.

Wizard appears in front of her.

Her mind goes numb and her tongue stumbles over the words "Brother, what, how???"

"I'm not your brother," Spits the dream version of Wizard, "Not anymore."

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

"NO!" Yells Emma and she hurls a bolt of darkness at the dream Wizard.

The darkness passes through Wizard harmlessly.

"See? What sister would attempt to kill her own brother? Her twin? Her other half?"

He glowers darkly at Emma.

"You killed me. That's unforgivable."

Wizard fades away, and the dream begins to end...

Emma howls and is still howling when she wakes up. Howling for her fear, her anguish, and her abandonment.

Calano gets jump-scared by Emma's abrupt awakening and tries to calm her down, saying reassuring words, and offering many hugs as Emma blubbers in anguish.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

"Hm." Bookwyrm walked over, tapping Chromium slightly. He really didn't need to trip on the way over there. Stupid bad luck curse.

He crouched down next to Calano and Emma. "What's wrong?" he asked in a soft voice.

"Nightmares," Calano says quietly.

Emma begins to calm down and realize she isn't trapped in her nightmares anymore.

"What happened in the dreams?"

Emma stares straight forward. "I was having one of my usual dreams, and then it changed. It shifted into my time as The Speakk." Emma pauses.

Calano nods, listening intently.

"And then," He says softly.

Calano looks up at the statue, then down at Emma.

His face crinkles in sympathy, and he wraps his arms around Emma.

"Oh, Emma," He says, holding her, "I'm so sorry."
