Bookwyrm clenched his hand in a fist and nodded. 

"You're right. It's not going to help anyone. I will find answers, Calano. I'll figure out exactly why these chickens did what they did. Thaidakar and Nameless may be looking for revenge, but all I need is knowledge. Then we can make a judgement."

He paused. "First, though, I need to get rid of my bad luck."

Emma still a giant raven comes and lands near Calano, enveloping him with her wings.

Calano lightly grasps one of her feathers, and continues to stare at the statue.

Emma looks up at the statue and lets out a strangled squak as she sees the white tiger return to its statue form.

Calano looks puzzedly at Emma.

"You... You ok?"
