When Haly opens the door, someone tackles her. “Hi there!“ Says Willa, “Are you here to save the world? I‘ve never saved the world before. Have you?“ She asks, speaking quickly.

Thaidakar groaned, his mind whirled. What had he been doing? He turned over in his bed. The lights floated peacefully nearby. How long had it been? Thaidakar picked up his glasses and put them on, he looked at his computer. HOLY- How had he let himself sleep that long? He looked in his mirror, wanting to see how his hair looked. He paled when he looked at the reflective glass. It showed himself, but how he was in his nightmares. Taller, more intimidating, his eyes glowing and a cruel smile on his face. He turned from it and cursed. Thaidakar rubbed his head, sighing. He had to get a handle on himself. He sat down at his desk and looked at his computer, it had a new notification. Bookwyrm wanted help with stuff with Kaos. Something... something was interesting about it to him, but he didn't know why. He adjusted his glasses again and sipped from a mug of coffee that had appeared in his hands. He probably should go help out with that, he needed to go out and do stuff anyways.

Bookwyrm gathered everyone who had accepted the call into his office. He hadn't been aware that he actually had an office until that point, but he'd put it to use.

He'd changed into a more modern traveling outfit: A blue t-shirt over a long sleeved black one, fingerless gloves and gauntlets, black cargo pants, and sturdy black hiking boots. His small pouch of infinite space was tied to his belt. He seemed to be reading something projected onto his glasses' lenses.

Once everyone had arrived, he stood up and addressed them.

"Thank you for accepting the offer to join me in this mission. Calano has tasked me with assembling a specialist force that will track down the locations of the other Archives. For those of you not aware, the archives are vast collections of information created by an ancient Worldseer." Bookwyrm paused. "I can't really explain what the Worldseers are right now, but suffice it to say, I am...a very important member of their organization."

He continued. "The Archive I discovered was titled The Fourth Archive, and was unfortunately destroyed by Kaos soon after I discovered it. Luckily, I was able to create a complete copy of the Archive's entire collection of information, so none of it was lost. A copy of all that information now resides in this Clinic's own library.

"We have reason to speculate that there are other Archives scattered across the Clinic's multiverse. Our mission, then, is to find those archives, copy their information, and use the information within them to aid in our fight against Kaos."

He smiled to the group. "Any questions or concerns?"

Thaidakar, who was sitting in a plush chair he'd summoned, sipped a glass of wine as he looked at the other people in the office. "The archive has a copy of a journal made by one of my kind from when the treaty was made."

Insa looked at Willa "Well from the fact that the one Bookwyrm was at was called The Fourth Archive, there should be at least three more. If not then that's a really random name."

"We do." Thaidakar pulled out a small holographic projector and a small, bluish book seemed to emerge from it. He flipped a page and read aloud, "'the other archives should be safe, as long as the defenses hold up. Our knowledge needs to be protected.'"

Telrao tips her head slightly. The hissing whispers have faded from her mind. But her soul... the sharp pain is gone, but a dull throbbing is left there instead.

She purrs a response softly, then sniffs at Shadow again. She mews and swishes her floofy tail, jumping out of Calano's arms and onto the floor. Her aon markings seem to glow slightly brighter now that the whispers had stopped.

Her Therapy Cat training takes over again, and she sits calmly on the floor. She can't speak, but she can think. She stops shaking. A pocket dimension? How does this protect us from Kaos' influence?

Calano's mind understands the impressions Telrao's mind is putting out, then realizes something.

"You're a Therapy Cat, aren't you?" He whispers in awe. "Amazing. I've never met a Therapy Cat before, I'll admit, so this, despite my age, is a new experience."

Calano looked closer at the cat, and noticed the Aon markings. "You have access to the AonDor? Even through the protections and safeguards of the Clinic?"

"I have one lead. The village Insa and I just visited was founded by the allies of Worldseers. That's something I should note: even though the creation of the Archives was spearheaded by Worldseers, many other people and organizations helped in their creation.

"Anyway, they claim to have knowledge of the location of the Sixth Archive. We should return there first and start asking around."

Matra raised her hand. “Do we have any clues or information on where the other Archives might be?” She paused, the erudite curiosity in her eyes giving way to a childish light. “Ooh… is there a riddle? Like in the stories? Or a cryptic map?” She pulled out a notebook and starts scribbling furiously and completely illegibly. “I’m very good at codes and riddles, you see. One might even say it’s like magic.” She abruptly glanced down, realising she might have given away too much about her abilities.

Insa sat down on the ground in a corner of the office. She had absolutely no idea where to find any thing she might need. She started humming to herself and playing with some of her electricity. She started to form something. She wasn't quite sure what it was.

After a couple a minutes of messing Insa abruptly stopped humming. She had made a dagger. Why did I make a dagger?

The magic here is basically whatever you want it to be, as long as it's not too powerful and doesn't mess up the story too much. Many of our characters have access to magic systems from a bunch of different books along with the ones we've made up ourselves.
