Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted

Nameless stumbled and fell to the ground. Blasted chickens. I’ll be ready when they return.

The chickens were banned from the clinic, by leaving they had given up access to it forever, and if they returned, the beast was waiting for them.

Nameless knew better. Chickens were wily and dangerous. No banishment could hold them back forever.

Calano had no words as he watched his friend die, a red hot blade sizzling in his throat.

"I... Why... No..."

Calano hunched over and wept.

"P-ut m-e-e i-i-in th-h-he w-wh-h-ht-te ti-i-g-ger." Whispers Wizard. 

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

The blade sizzled, it was nearly through the throat looking angry red.

Calano gently knelt, and picked up Wizard.

He cradled his friend's body and gently walked him over to the White Tiger.

He placed Wizard inside, and then just stood there.

"You're an amazing person, Wizard. Don't ever forget it."

"Goodbye brother." Numbly says Emma, tears dripping down her face as she hugs her twin brother goodbye for the last time

The tiger swallows Wizard inside and then releases a resounding roar, prompting a roar of mourning from all the other guardians, including those that hadn't yet been found.

Thaidakar walked in and looked at the scene. the knife lay on the ground having burned through Wizard's throat. Thaidakar looked at it curiously, "interesting..."

The echoing mournful roar permeated the souls of everyone present, and Calano collapsed to the ground, openly weeping.

He screamed, a sound of rage and agony, but with no power. Simply emotion. Raw, agonizing emotion.

The tiger gently dislodges Emma and she falls down by Calano, weeping on his shoulder, shutting her eyes to the scene before her.

Bookwyrm stands in a mournful silence for a moment. The he turns to Thaidakar.

"I was stabbed by that knife," he said, showing Thaidakar his hand wound. "Is that going to be a problem?

Calano muttered a few choice words, and the group returned to the lobby of the Clinic.

There was something new in the lobby. A towering statue, of pure gold, of The Wandering Wizard.

The plaque below it read.

Brother and friend. Gave his life defeating the Chickens during the Incursion.

"Thought you might like it," Calano muttered in a daze to Emma.

Thaidakar looked at the statue then nodded appreciatively, "we need to start setting precautions and getting spies in the chicken spy network."

Nameless walked out of his room with a pack on his back. "I'm going to go kill all the chickens."

Emma sits down and she pulls Calano down next to her. She stares at the statue as memories flood her mind and the tears start to flow down her checks, once again.
