OK, D&D character idea:
Doc Mcstuffins.
She is a child prodigy necromancer who learned necromancy after one of her pets died. Stuck by grief, she learned how to resurrect it.
So she asks her mother (Crazy but loving artificer) for a stuffed animal that looks like said pet (lets say it's a cat).
She then taxidermies the stuffed toy, putting the bones of her  cat into it, sewing it up, then resurrecting it as an undead.

Unfortunately, after a tragic accident involving a group of adventurers killing her mother and burning down their castle*, including killing her other animals, she brings them back in a similar way, and sets out for revenge,

*the party was hired to kill the, "Crazy mad scientist with evil plots" for some cash.

Yes, I am an evil person.

.....

That's actually kinda cool.

This one is based on the legends of avantris uprooted campaign. It’s just dnd but with forest critters instead on elves and stuff.

So the idea is. A warlock who’s patron is a human, and eldritch blast is just a gun

Been seeing all around how apparently it's the most common thing ever to plan a session 0, going about the things they recommend doing during one, and that's slightly surprising. My table just goes "Yeah, new campaign. Bring a level 5 character next week. 10k to spend and 50 points. See ya."

Of course we end up having a session 0 anyway because translating the character into Foundry still takes a while, plus asking questions about feats, items and stuff, but it's never really on purpose. We just kinda fall under the weight of our own lack of preparation.

I did a thing

I decided to be a sorcerer who is sure-as-certain he's a wizard

Also he has almost the same views on his race as Carrot (from Discworld, in the Night Watch) does

(And the DM gave me a sentient quarter staff who lets me use my CHA mod instead of my STR mod for hitting things with it and I have dubbed it my wizard staff because whynot y'know? Player!I am mildly concerned about the possibility of it's possibly-cursed self taking over my mind, but Character:I have no such worries.)

That's awesome.
