The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The kandra in their gelatinous forms found the dead body of a whitespine.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 No one was sure how it had ended up in the Cognitive realm.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 The kandra co-consumed it. "Ahh, this hits the spot." "Only because you have the head." "Says the butt." "AGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH" Nothing had really changed for them.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 There was a convenient pile of other dead skeletons lying next to them.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 Sequence sent the janitors to clean them up and put them on sale in the gift shop. If there were Kandra nearby, why miss out on an opportunity as lucrative as this one had the potential to be?
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 The janitors also managed to pick up some live skeletons.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted November 3, 2022 Author Posted November 3, 2022 Even better! Kandras would buy those for sure.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 The live skeletons were offended by this, as they were conscious.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 Until they weren't. Sequence ordered the security team to kill them all so they could be sold as merchandise for the Kandra.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 The security team could not figure out how to kill the alive skeletons.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 (edited) Sequence moved the funding from the new exhibit into skeleton-killing classes for the security team. Edited November 8, 2022 by Sequence
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 In the meantime, the live skeletons died of starvation, making it pointless.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Foklasfag had been hired for millennia now, and had yet to have been paid. Not that he cared.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 15, 2023 Author Posted February 15, 2023 On 2/14/2023 at 6:57 AM, FranktheTalkingAxe said: I need a muffin a minute. Or 1440 muffins a day. That's it. "This is an agreeable price. You are hired." Said no one in particular.
Telrao she/her Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 A smol floofy cat trotted into the museum, her tail curved in a question mark. She admired the walls and managed to dodge the gloopy kandras. "Hello?" She asked no one in particular.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 "Hello!" Foklasfag said cheerfully. "Welcome to the Museum of Cryptics! How may I help you today?"
Telrao she/her Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 "Do you have a med bay that I can perhaps work in?" The cat asked, padding over to Foklasfag. "I am a professionally trained therapy cat, and may be able to assist in matters such as panic and stress in this Museum."
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 27, 2023 Author Posted February 27, 2023 "The Angerspren have developed a taste for cats, so you might want to be careful." Sequence said, waving over the security guards.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 "they have a taste for everything," Foklasfag commented
Telrao she/her Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 "Well, that's comforting." The cat said, eyes sparkling. "Though they may find me difficult to digest."
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Foklasfag scratched his head. "I don't think they actually digest anything. Or even need to eat. They just do"

"Though they may find me difficult to digest." Sequence nodded. "I'd be careful nonetheless." She handed Telrao a key. "There's a room in the back that has some old bandages... I think. You may set up there, if you so desire. What is your required payment?"

"Thenk-ooo" she mumbled around the key. She placed it on the floor and purred. "I require no payment but to see people happy. My power runs on Therapy - so as long as I have a steady stream of patients (I pray I don't) I will be rich enough!" 1

Telrao she/her Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Content to find her own way around, Telrao picked up her key and strolled through the Biology exhibit, pausing for a moment to study the large cross-sectioned Cryptic. She stood, flicked her tail, then continued padding along until she found the room. She stopped at the door and made a small, annoyed sound. The storming keyhole was too high for her to reach. Calming herself (she was, after all, in Shadesmar) she frowned and focussed, then began to draw a small Aon Tia. She added modifiers stipulating to affect only the object that was placed in the centre, then completed the Aon and placed the key in the centre. In the next moment, the key was in the lock. Telrao jumped up and grabbed the key, twisting it as she fell, unlocking the door. Purring a small purr of contentment, she scratched a small Aon Ate on the door and placed her paw in the centre, causing the door to swing open. 2
