  1. Lol LMAO I need to offer Boons more often.
  2. Honestly I don't mind people editing their Sign-up Post? The consolidation of RP and Notes into one post is helpful to me.
  3. Hmmmmmm, I don't think so no. . . As in, your character name is '1'?
  4. I hadn't, but don't worry about it. LMAO. Fine then, Two boons. One for best Sign-up Post, one for most engaging Pre-Game posts. I'll clarify that in the final rule set posted before the start of the game, but for now, no, it is not an action, and yes, it will be public knowledge who called for it. For the Rebsk, hmmmmmmmm, interesting. I don't think you do. Yeah, you won't get a Loyalty increase for that. The Parliamentarian's Decree is public knowledge, As in, everyone will know at the start of the day which Decrees if any are in effect. The Identity of the Parliamentarian is not known. If the Prince Consort attempts to force someone to take an illegal order, The Prince's target still loses 2 Loyalty, but their action is unaffected. When you inherit the Highguard Role, you gain the role without losing your previous role. I'm not sure yet. I'll need to think about what information you are told about the success of actions. The Rebsk's condition only looks at the final vote tally. It is announced at the beginning of the day that the player is not eligible for Execution that day, and it only looks at the final vote tally. The Banker, hmmmmmmmmmm. Interesting. I didn't think about that. I'll think about that further before deciding.
  5. Taps the Sign: Oh, hmm. I forgot about PMs. (You can tell I use PMs a lot in SE) Lemme think about that.
  6. LG113: The Thaylen City Council “And you are certain, that these Fabrials work, Ulvlk?” Queen Fen asked once again, as Kmakl oversaw the installation of the Voidlight Detectors. Abaray nodded, an eager smile on his face. “Yes your Majesty, my colleagues in Emul have tested it in the battles there. They were able to detect a Masked one, who was then captured by the Windrunners, and several incursions of Deepest Ones, before they could disrupt the formations.” “Why don’t we have these Fabrials everywhere then?” The Queen asked. Abaray pointed to the large Heliodor mounted in the center. “They require captured Void-spren. Intelligent and tricky those ones are. Very difficult for us to get into a gemstone. We’re hoping to get more, but, with the Contest in another 10 days, it doesn’t seem like we will have the time to do so.” He shrugged. “So we decided to put these prototypes into circulation, rather than continuing to tinker with them. Better to have them be of use now, then to continue refining them until a point where there is no use for them.” The human queen smiled at him, relief evident in her face. “Thank you Ulvlk. Your work will keep Thaylen City safe.” Abaray bowed. “Thank you, my Queen.” He departed from the hidden council chambers, wearing Ulvlk's face, and resisting the urge to hum to Spite. The queen didn’t know yet, but his work would keep Thaylen City safe. It would keep it safe under Odium’s protections. He just needed to convince the Council that Queen Fen and the Coalition wasn’t who they should be following. It was time to start gathering secrets. —--- Welcome to LG113: The Thaylen City Council! All of you are members of the titular council, and your job is to keep Queen Fen in power so that the Coalition continues in strength! But you may find yourself voting against the Queen, if the price is right. . . I am Jo, your humble GM. @Cuendillar is my assistant Co-GM, and @|TJ| is our Impartial Moderator. Please sign up here, and tell me as much as you can about your character! The more the better! Whoever has the best sign-up post will receive fabulous rewards! (Probably not fabulous, but a minor boon to be sure.) This game will begin on Thursday, July 23rd, 3AM GMT. Rollovers will always be at 3AM GMT. The rules are here, though they may be changing slightly as I run tests and simulations. When the game actually starts, I’ll post a full breakdown of all changes that were made from this post. Player List: 1. @Through the Living Hopper as 1, a Highspren who secretly possesses the first person to arrive at a mass murder site. 2. @Wahrheitswächter as Ralm, a Truthwatcher and one of the newest Merchants on the Thaylen City Council, after surviving an otherwise Disastrous Expedition to the Reshi Isles. 3. @coco.pudding as Essyn, a Ghostblood who is returning to the council after secretly causing a Disastrous Expedition to the Reshi Isles. 4. @Mystic as Fickle, a Cognitive Shadow who joined the Council due to a Letter of Endorsement from Archer. 5. @TwinStorm as Shemyn the Accused, a pirate who accidentally joined the council simply by stealing enough ships to count as a Fleet Lord. Now that he gets a cut of the Taxes, he's stopped robbing the Tax Collectors and instead wants Thaylenah's wealth to grow. 6. @Illwei as someone who is learning. 7. @Hoid Slayer as Tshanin, who buried his sister in the stars, so that every sailor would see her at night. 8. @Ascended Grubberfly as Dvalk, who once bet his belief on the flip of a card, and settled a debt in return for a council seat. 9. @Mat as Mat, one of the oldest council members, who is tired, and frankly too busy for this treaty nonsense. 10. Do you think you have what it takes to be the Tenth player? The holy number of Honor itself? Quick Links:
  7. Okie Dokie I'll take it.
  8. Honestly, unless someone specifically wants to be a Co-GM to gain the experience or learn the trade, I tend to say no. I don't really know what to do with Co-GM's, because I don't like to share. Like, I want to do all the writeups, and I want to make sure the spreadsheet is accurate, and I don't want to have to take some one else's opinions on doing things. It's a toxic trait, but it always feels like someone's stealing my glory when I let them Co-GM with me as a peer instead of a trainee. I'm really not Co-GM material. It's something I've accepted about myself. If it was 'the other way around' it would work? Like, if someone else had a game they wanted to run, but wanted help with, I'd happily be their Co-GM, but they would have to actually be in charge. In creative endeavors, I need hierarchy, not equality. Soooo, thanks for the offer, but before I say yes to anyone Co-GM'ing, I would need to know what exactly they expect from being a Co-GM. You've got until the current MR ends. Yeah, that's the problem. I'd want a guarantee of at least 20 players to run an anti-faction game. I don't think I'll be rerunning Master of the House. Interesting. I don't think I played in either of those games. Very interesting. I can already see how I might change such a game in light of Knights of Wind and Truth. I cannot think of any such game. I've done some searches and can't find it. Literally could not be me. Noted. You have been marked as Active, although you're only signed up for a LG and a BT
  9. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic was a huge part of my adolescence. I couldn't just ignore a call to the Herd.
  10. @Aeoryi, you're number 1 to run the next Long Game. Do you want it? The current MR will end in between 4 and 12 days, probably, so you have a bit of time to decide. If you don't want it, next on the list is @Jo and the Bush, who will absolutely accept running a Long Game, but doesn't currently have one prepared. Hey everyone, if I run LG113, it will almost certainly be a rerun of a past Long Game, unless I can figure out how to get my Fullmetal Alchemist game prepped. Does anyone have any Long Games they want to see reran?
  11. I'm still technically a Brony I suppose, but mostly because I'm still active engaged in the Fanworks. Are any of you on FimFiction.net? If you like Fanfiction, that is the place for members of the Herd. Allow me to suggest some very good fanfictions to read: WOULD IT MATTER IF I WAS? published in 2015, set between Seasons 2 and 3, and clocking in and 2k words. A philosophical debate about racism and how to react to bad events. DISCORDANT published in 2012, set between Seasons 2 and 3, and clocking in at 42k words. A slow corruption and redemption of everyone's favorite orphan. NIGHT GUARDS published in 2015, set during the Lunar Rebellion, and clocking in at 75k words. A tale of Loyalty and extremism, and the slow realization that "Maybe we're the baddies here" RESTING WITCH FACE published in 2020, set some time after Season 6 (I think), and clocking in a 31k words. A comedy. Please read it, it's so good. WATCH! WATCH! published in 2018, set (technically) right before Season 1, and clocking in at 13k words. A delightful parody of Terry Pratchett.
  12. Noted! Hrmmm. . . Maybe. Sure for right now. Given the actual wait time of running a game, and the eagerness with which some people have to run games, (Such as me, who would happily run every game), I'm actually going to go talk to the others about how many times someone can appear on the list. Like, I have half a dozen games ready to run currently. Should I sign up for half a dozen slots and run 6 games back to back, preventing anyone elso from getting to GM for half a year? Obviously not, but where is the 'acceptable' amount of multiple sign-ups at once?
  13. Done. Know anything about what game you want to run?
  14. So did we ever come to a final desicion on who's running LG112? Is it @Aeoryi or is it @The Unknown Medallion? I know that TUM is prepping his Meta game. Aeoryi do you have a game ready?
  15. Okie dokie, you have been added!
