I think he travels to each world collecting pieces of each Cosmere worlds magic system slowly increasing his power. I think the main scheme is doing whatever he can to undermine Odium/Rayse and Bavadin. He has been around for a while since before the Shattering of Adonalsium he even knows the Shards first hand: Cultivation does not like Hoid - Stated by BS Tanavast/Honor once bought him drinks- "Tanavast was a fine enough fellow - bought me drinks once - but he was no god" - Words of radiance. Has beef with Rayse - "on the other hand, was among the most loathsome, crafty, and dangerous individuals I had ever met." - The Letter Has beef with Bavadin - "You have accused me of perpetuating my grudge against Rayse and Bavadin." - The Letter Thought well of Ati before being changed by Ruin - "Ati was once a kind and generous man, and you saw what became of him." - The Letter

Kaladin/Windrunners - Bridge 4 will mostly be Squires (dampened down powers like just the inhaling stormlight) I don't think it will be likely be the bandits and Gaz fit this criteria, could be wrong but the WR Squires are unique to the WR. (Shallan is named after the patron Herald of the Lightweavers, 'Shalash') I think the Bondsmiths will be the least populated like in the olden days - There were only 3 members The Skybreakers... i see them as similar to the WR but having a very different moral code, they could possibly have Squires? Haven't thought much about the other orders so far this is the best i can do

I think Taln and Kalak will be the good ones, the rest will be shadows of their former selves. Obviously Kaladin will be Jezrien's successor From book 1 Prelude i got a good vibe from Kalak, after all out of all of the Heralds he was chosen as the POV. Jezrien seemed 'Broken' The reason i think it will be Taln and Kalak is because Brandon said that two of the books will feature two of the Heralds as the flashback characters and they are my favorite heralds (Nin is a BAMF but i like him as an AntiHero/BadGuy)

Im not complaining I've been looking forward to finally getting on with the Cosmere haha Besides most of these are only 'suspected' World-hoppers. If anything im hoping we'll see some more and go into more detail of how Hopping works through Shadesmar. Some sort of exchange? Or is it like Temple Run, hurry before the Spren catch you? Unless he can Lightweave disguises like Shallan and possibly Hoid i will definitely be on the lookout for him in future books, he is so evil but i like him as a bad guy!! Anybody remember this? Shallan's first impression of Mraise, i don't think he is Rayse but im guessing he and Hoid have beef? I can't picture Hoid being friends with a guy like this. Plus nobody except the readers seem to like him haha The resemblance and the fact he wears white might be symbolic of the fact they are opposites? Is this Nergaoul and Moelach? No i think it affects you most in battle. I have a theory that it heightens your emotions and twists them into a negative way. The Thrill gets in you and corrupts you? It even got Kaladin when he was younger, fighting the older boy. Maybe the Nahel Bond or those on their way to forming the Bond are immune?

is the glowing figure walking the storm when Kaladin and Shallan are hiding during the highstorm a Parshendi changing to Stormform?

Heralds Worldhopping?

I know what you mean. Since the release of WOR and with all the rereads I've been doing i think I've ruined my social life......but it was so worth it!!

So annoyed that Kal lost Hoid's flute had a load of theory's that are ruined now haha Wonder if the Heralds have been spotted in different series? Will Hoid and Jasnah go Bonnie and Clyde? so many questions! Best book i've ever read! Feeling more anticipation for Stormlight 3 than i ever felt for all 7 Harry Potter books!

I'm leaning towards him stashing it in one of his hidey holes. I bet he collects souvenirs and pieces of that Shards magic system. He strikes me as a hoarder.

I didn't miss that! That had me speculating for a while!! It might be a lightweaving quirk: Shallan has to draw what she light weaves? I believe Hoid has a method using sand perhaps?? But I can't imagine him drinking sand even he's not that strange haha Brandon stated that Hoid is the most powerful character except for shard/ sliver. Hoids abilities: This is all I have unfortunately.

I think it might be because he refuses to let go of the past. Once he overcomes this and looks towards the future, it will heal. Imagine the discussion on honor between Kylar Stern and Kaladin XD

I don't know to be honest, Kaladin is a man of honor and i can't imagine him cuckolding another mans wife I don't entirely blame her for how she treated Kaladin, she was a young girl at the time and with her father dying... she was left alone and i can't imagine living with Roshone being pleasant. She was doing her duty and lets face it had no actual say in the matter. I just feel sorry for her. I have this image in my head of Roshone having done something to Kal's parents and him kicking the door down in an epic bad chull entrance. Roshone growing pale and turning to dust. Even if he has become a Radiant his father wont aprove of all the killing he has done ("you cant protect by killing") but i think his mother would just want her son back but the death of Tien will cause friction between them. I think him being in Kholinar would be........intresting. Especially meeting the glutton priest. I know Brandon will do us all proud and leave us feeling satisfied with the result whether it will be a happy reunion (which i doubt) or a heartbreaking tale. I hope on Kaladin's airborne adventure he meets at least one interlude character. Sayyyy a certain tattoo enthusiast?? Imagine the discussion on imprisonment Spren

I hope she picks Adolin. Kaladin is my favorite character and i like Shallan but i think the chasm just made them bond and relax around each other. Other than thinking of Kaladin when talking to Adolin and in the chasm that was the only real time i can remember Shallan thinking of Kal that much. Plus she is the one that kissed him numerous times during the books. I think Kaladin could find somebody else, he's a KR now and everybody knows it and more lighteyed than any king, could you imagine if the lighteyes tried to maneuver him into a political marriage? I love Kal and like i said he is my favorite character but he is so oblivious when it comes to women haha

Does he possess a Honorblade? I swear the description of Taln's blade changes between the WOK Epilogue and when Dalinar sees it. Hoid traveled with him and 'ran off' I think our dear Hoid is gathering a piece of every Shardworld magic and storing them in one of his cosmere hidey holes.
