  1. “Can the Necromancer guy turn your soldiers to Zombies? ‘Cause that’d be cool. They all die, then stand up and kill the other guys.” The young boy looked at CorpseMaker with eager eyes. “If I were Epic, I’d totally be a Necromancer! Or maybe Superman. Hey! Did ya ever read the Comic where Superman got turned into a Zombie? That was sweet!” When CorpseMaker shook his head, the boy continued. “It was Awesome! Batman had to go to this old Krypton Outpost to find a Cure, but the Sinestro Corps were already there.” The boy prattled on about his Comics, while his Mother grew increasingly worried. Not that there was a reason to. CorpseMaker had no plans to kill these people. He gathered up the few papers he’d brought over, then stood up. “Thank you for reading that. It was most helpful.” He hadn't considered that. What if Lightwards could raise the Toys? The Evil Overlord List was proving very Helpful. He dropped a Twenty on the Table, enough to pay for the confused Woman’s meal. He didn’t smile, simply walking back to where he had left his papers. Murphy had already left, but now there was somebody else sitting in his booth. A short man, wearing glasses. He was staring nervously, but determinedly, at CorpseMaker. CorpseMaker raised an eyebrow at that. The man hadn’t touched the Papers left there. The folder was still closed. He slid his paper into the Folder, then sat down in the booth. “What do you want?” The man broke Eye contact. “I’m Mr. Harmon Sir. I want to join your Empire.” Before CorpseMaker could make a Reply, the man launched into a narrative. “You see, I used to work for Altermind, in Thoughtown. I was an accountant for one of his Power plants. It made good money, and my Family was kept safe. But, about a week ago I came to him with an idea. It would have increased efficiency and Output, but he disliked it, and threw me and my family out. Since then, I’ve simply done what work I could find. But Since you’re planning on Conquering the City, I decided on offering my help against Altermind. I worked there for a long time. I know a lot about him. Please Sir, I want to help my Family, and you’re my only Option.” CorpseMaker had started grinning about halfway through. This man was a Missile. One pointed right at Altermind’s image. Phase 2 just got significantly easier. “You’re hired. Bring your family to the Kliever Armory as soon as you can. I’ll send in Word for you to be put into Lodgings. Thank you for contacting me.” He stood up, and grabbed Harmon’s hand, shaking it firmly. “You’re going to be the Weakness I need to destroy Altermind. Welcome to the Dominion.” ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Later on, CorpseMaker stood outside an apartment building. According to Streetwise, it was home to an Epic named Leech. One who could drain Life. He held sway over near a hundred others who lived here as well. Both Protecting and feeding on them. He was the perfect foil for one of the heavy hitters of the Empire. The wooden front door of the building broke easily under CorpseMaker’s foot. When he walked in, three people looked up, then scattered. He managed to keep his sight on one of them for the 5 heartbeats needed to kill. The Man’s body fell to the floor, tripping the woman behind him, who screamed. The last man pulled a fire alarm. No Alarm went off, but the man sped off anyway. CorpseMaker grinned at the woman. “Where is your Master?” She shied back. “Leech is upstairs. He’s coming though. He’ll stop you. He’ll kill you, just like he killed the others. You won’t be able to kill him.” He smirked. And targeted her. “Who said I wanted to kill Him?” Her eyes widened in fear, then she spasmed, and died. CorpseMaker dragged the two bodies to the entrance. Arranging them in front of it, with their heads facing the door. Then he assumed Parade Rest at their heads, and waited. Within a minute, A tall man in a Tang-top came rushing own the stairs. He passed when he saw CorpseMaker. “Who the sparks are you?” Behind him came a good dozen others, carrying small firearms. “I took the name CorpseMaker, after my power. Perhaps you’ve heard of me?” The people behind the man stiffened. One of them, smarter or braver than the rest, raised his gun and fired multiple shots into CorpseMaker’s head. The pinged as they hit the floor. “I’m here to recruit the lot of you.” The man in front glanced at the two bodies on the floor. “You have a pretty odd way of doing it. Killing my people. And these are my People. They came to me for protection.” CorpseMaker smiled. So the man was Leech. He targeted the man who had shot him. “You’re doing a bad job of it so far.” As he said his last word, the man fell, without uttering a single noise. “I’ve killed three of your men, and you haven’t even attacked me.” Leech’s eyes narrowed in rage. But he didn’t look behind himself. “I’ll give you this chance, to get out now, before I suck the life right out of you.” CorpseMaker dropped his smile, and Targeted another man. “Counteroffer. Every five seconds you resist, I’ll kill another man.” The man fell, dead before he hit the ground. “How many men do you think will die before the rest abandon you.” Leech roared, and charged forward. He stuck his hands out n front of him, and abruptly, White Mist flowed from CorpseMaker’s Chest to Leech’s hands. That was interesting. It surprised Leech even more. He maintained the list for a few seconds more, before dropping his hands, and staring at CorpseMaker. “No one’s ever survived that much drain before. You really are unkillable, aren’t you.” CorpseMaker merely raised an eyebrow. And Killed another man. Leech whipped his head behind him, staring at the Corpse. “Alright!” he looked back. “Alright, stop killing them, and I’ll join your Empire, but they’re coming to. You provide them their Safety, and housing, and I’ll work for you.” That was, surprising. He seemed to actually care for these people, rather than just use them to steal Health. “Good. Come with Me. Your people can come to the Armory tomorrow, once my men have had time to find housing for them. But you get to come now. If you refuse, or try to argue, I’ll simply kill another one of your slaves.” Leech hesitated, then nodded reluctantly, and walked over to him. He turned around. “Martha, gather the others, and have them follow.” One of the woman bit her lower lip, but nodded. Leech turned back to him. “Alright. Lead the way, CorpseMaker.”
  2. You can recruit or kill any Epic that Voidus gives you permission to. Hey Mailliw, would you mind if I used one of the Characters you abandoned a long time ago?
  3. Yay! Computer Problem Fixed! Turns out, I had 27 free MB on my Computer. I had to delete a lot of Stuff, but everything works now. I'll have a post up in an hour. Recruiting. Streetwise and Upgrade will be listening in to the meeting though. They really need to have on the MONA.
  4. If I die tonight, will my Passive Defensive Bonus still count towards the Camp's defense? EDIT: '?' not '.'
  5. I might not be able to post tonight. I'm having Major Computer Difficulties. (Seriously Murphy?)
  6. Did you not see him pause and turn the Difficulty down to Novice?
  7. You raise very interesting points. As for the Color changing to Gray instead of White, Do you think it would change to white if Extra breaths were used to Awaken? And doesn't this mean that Pure White Objects Cannot be Awakened? They've already maxed out their Hue.
  8. CorpseMaker's Territory has been referred to several times as simply the Dominion. I'm not certain if this will stick around, but it is cannon. I'll have a CorpseMaker post and a Gordon Post up sometime in the next 3 or so Hours. Adn Congrats Twi. You're now the Prime.
  9. Yeah, I just decided that Ashiok and Jain were innocent, but Ashiok, you just jumped all the way to practicly Confirmed Forgotten. You're also defending Araris, a Player I still Suspect. As such, I'm retracting my Vote of Alvron, and putting back on you, Ashiok If there's a possible Tie, or nobody else votes for you, I'll switch to Araris. (Not a vote). Since He's one of my three main Suspects. Huh. My three main Suspects all have 'A' Names. @Jain. Regardless of your Alignment. I'd like to Formally Congratulate, and thank you. You've been a much better player overall recently, acrtively helping the Town, instead of chulling around like you used to. Have an Upvote.
  10. Hmm. I feel like Murphy's Weakness woud act like, Hmm. Have any of you ever read the Sword of Truth Series? In those books there are certain People who were born Without Magic, so Prophecy is entriely incapable of seeing them. Murphy's weakness is Like that. It kind of has an Aura, preventing anything in it's Aura from being Predicted or seen by Murphy's power. So for the Poker Game. Gordon has Murphy's weakness on him, preventing him from being targeted by Murphy. But Murphy's power can still affect the Gordon of the Past. It would actually go back in time, looking for when he doesn't have the weakness, allowing it to Affect him. If during that time, It can't find a way to affect the Current Time, (Which is likely, depending on when Gordon grabbed the Weakness) then Gordon remains Unaffected. Kyle doesn't have the Weakness, but does come with Marked cards. Murphy targets him, and he always does something wrong with them. Like he accidently grabs the wrong deck, or a cheat card falls out of his sleeve or something. And Murphy's weakness is a Item. Not a Unique Item, but a Certain type. For Example, Not Every Elmo is the Weakness of RiverShoulders, only Tickle-me-Elmo's are.
  11. I'm beginning to Think I'm still alive because I'm completely Wrong about my Suspicions, one of which I mentioned was Gamma. As such, I'm just going to Assume that Ashiok and Jain are innocent, and I know I am, giving me a list of 5 names, 3 of which are Forgotten. (Araris Valerian) Tavi, a troublesome, but bright young man. (Alvron) Ronald, a Short man with White hair and piercing blue eyes. (Wyrmhero) Wyatt, a Senior Soldier (Kasimir) Samuel Kessen, a man who hates the JoSeun way of life. (Twelvethrootoftwo) Tory Farth, a man who exists Of those three, Twelvethroot, Alvron and Araris have been the most suspicious, being Quieter than normal, and overall not proposing anything much. So For now, I will vote for Alvron. I'm in school right now, so I don't have much time to gather Evidence, So i'll do that when I get home tonight.
  12. It's powerful enough to deal with Threats that hasn't materialized, but will. In a sense, his Power has Precognition, though he doesn't. As an Example, if he targeted somebody playing Poker, then there's an increased likelihood that the Dealer dealt them a crap hand. In the Case of CorpseMaker, his power would either bring a bird's flight path into CorpseMaker's face, or if they were inside, distract him in some other way. Like collapsing the roof. OK you know what? Murphy is the most Powerful Epic.
  13. As close as we want. Once we get to her, She'll open a Portal to the Ashpit, Malacath's Realm, letting in Daedra, who will conveniently disappear once Urzal dies.
  14. I'll post when I get back on Later. This is getting Fun. Are we all meeting Up again?
  15. Just woke up from a really weird Dream. Murphy got Upgraded, but his power made it go wrong, making him peranently Upgraded, Then he met an Epic amed Medium, who could travel between different types of Entertainment. When he got Upgraded, he found out about RL, and transported Murphy there. Murphy then killed me to stop me from writing him out of the Story. Then he started hunting down the others. He Killed Kobold and Twi (Represented in my dream as a Giant Lizard and Rainbow-y Vampire Lady) And was about to kill some someone else (An Older Male. Not sure who it was.) When Brandon published Firefight, making him non-Cannon and killing him. Conclusion: I spend Waaay too much time on this Site.
  16. Your First point: Yes, I hadn't really expected to switch this time. Your Second Point: That is unfortunately Correct. I Hadn't thought of that. Your Third Point: There's no reason for the Forgotten to make Lines of Warding Now. Without people actually reporting on what their Terget did, people can do whatever.
  17. Half-breed: Half- Noble, and Half-Skaa.
  18. In my Personal HeadCannon, when he gets Upgraded by Upgrade, something goes wrong, resulting in Murphy becoming Permanently Upgraded, and changing his name to Obliteration. And then he goes around destroying Cities with his Power. Edit: Permanently upgraded, not Personally.
  19. What? You Think Murphy is the Most Powerful? He's purely defensive. Sure he can't be killed and can get access to wherever he wants, but that's a long shot from actually killing People, especially the ruling class of Epics. Also, he's not Lucky, Everyone else is just Unlucky.
  20. I'm really regretting having a RL. There are so many Good RP's on this Site alone now. You've put a huge amount of Work into this World, and if I ever get the Time, I'd love to Join. Sadly I can't yet. But I just wanted to say how Amazed I am at this.
  21. So Drawn doesn't mean a work of Art? "by Someone who was not Drawn" makes me think of a Lottery or a Gun. AOL maybe? Is the Answer found in one of the Core Books? (Mistborn Series, SA, Warbreaker, Elantris) Or is it in his Minor Books? (Emperor's Soul, 6th of Dusk, Shadows for Silence.)
  22. Hivemind is a lot like Astoria. Something with a lot of Backstory, which may or may not be used. I was just practicing writing Backstory when I made Hivemind. It'll get used if you guys really want a Epic who can just take complete, permanant control over your characters in this RP.
  23. At the Time of my Reveal, I was set to be Lynched. I assumed that I would get lynched, since revealing that I was a Sentry is a Suspicious Move. So I was hoping that the Forgotten would be on ealy, and change their target to me, knowing that others (Like Wyrm) would be on later, and could retract their Vote, (Which He did). So I saw the small possibility of them wasting a kill by Targeting the Guy who was also being Lynched. It was a small hope, but I figured it would be a Silver lining in my being Lynched. And I would like to propose a Change to the LoW Plan. Lines of Vigor Cancel all Actions except for othe Lines of Vigor. So instead of having the 2nd group make Lines of Making, we have them Make Lines of Vigor, Targeting the Person Below them in their group. This ensures That the only Actions being done are the Lines of Warding in the other group, allowing us to Identify which group the Killer was in. Unless the Killer has another Forgotten directly Above them. Thoughts?
  24. Ok, I just got back from Camping, And I'm not going to read the Past 8 pages of this Thread. (We write to Much) So was there any Serious Planning done, and Do I need to post anything? (Note that I'll be gone for a good chunk of Today.)
  25. See I was tempted to use Gordon or another Reckoner, but what if they Get Killed? I'l sign up as Doc Oleny. A Researcher who works for the Epic Labs.
