  1. Who Sharded?
    Another vote for Kingkiller. Probably the biggest disparity between popular opinion and my own. It's very well written and I can understand how it has its fans...I just can't fathom why so many people love it. Malazan Book of the Fallen is my all time favorite series btw. But I can see how it's not for a lot of people.

    Mostly just learning about the world itself. How everything came to be the way it is. The Mistborn trilogy made it clear that Brandon has a reason for everything. Though I don't expect to learn a whole lot in the next book. I'm also a sucker for giant beasts, so I want to see more of those. That one interlude that was posted about the Reshi Isles has me hungry for more. Also, more Hoid and Heralds.

    I must be one of the few who enjoyed Night Angel more than Lightbringer. Lightbringer is undoubtedly better written, but Night Angel is just so much fun. I remember when all 3 books were released a month apart...I figured they would be bargain bin trash. The ended up being some of the biggest page turners I've ever read.
