  1. Yeah that's pretty miserable. Like, mine was suuuuuper simple that anyone could have redone in about 10 seconds. Mine and Storming Texan both got ripped off. I suppose we should be happy he's not *selling* them....
  2. lol well the smart is questionable. Smart-lipped? That's for sure. I have a few tinfoil hat theories of my own (That "Nohadon that Dalinar sees is real, but is someone pretending to be Nohadon to influence Dalinar and might turn into the real big bad, for example). I just keep those to myself most of the time
  3. Mmmmm I feel there is a difference between a theory grown naturally out of the text, and a theory that stretches the text in order to make the theory work. Also, we already have a kinda "mistaken identity" thing going on with Shallan, I don't think Brandon would re-use that thematic. Brandon's also never hinted that Ash isn't Shalash, as he has with Taln.
  4. I think you might be stretching the text to fit your conclusions rather than letting the text dictate the conclusions. For your theory that Ash isn't Shalash to hold true, a LOT of people in the text have to be wrong, as well as all the implications and inferences.
  5. I'm just playing with you. Any time I'm not actively debating, I'm probably joking.
  6. High Imperial is definitely weird. You gave it a good go. I *think* it works? Who knows with High Imperial, though. Spook is mean.
  7. We actually agree on something! Yay! And also, that just makes it more likely that I'm right! ;D
  8. Nope. Remember, keteks have to be divisible into 5 distinct thoughts
  9. No. Because if the spren didn't all agree, then some of the Windrunners would have lost their powers. We see them all flying, holding stormlight, powering their Shardplate, etc etc. So all of their spren had to be in agreement. And, if some of them didn't agree, they would have either told their friends, if only to say goodbye. Or tried those "other methods" Notum mentions to try and break their Bond.
  10. And done! I feel like the background colors are too overwhelming, but Windows decided to restart on me while I was away from my computer, and I didn't save it so couldn't work on it more. And it's too late to recreate it.
  11. I've always been Keeper of Words. Oh man, no it's not. It's another NB one.
  12. Well they are not spheres. They were spherical gemstones, not money-type spheres.
  13. I might have another something soon. Soon soon soooon.
  14. Yeah he started losing his powers when he attacked Adolin during the sparring match. He was in full protect-them mode during the duel, so it makes sense he wouldn't have problems with his powers during that fight, but they completely petered out not long after. I think when he decided to help Moash is when they really went away.
  15. I wasn't disagreeing with your point, just clarifying the curses and boons we've seen. I'm completely on board with Cultivation having a master plan for Lift, Dalinar and T. There are a couple of threads floating around where people better at theories than me have expounded on it
  16. My theory is not a kandra! (Teasing you )
  17. I think Venli vs the Singers vs the Listeners will definitely be a thing.
  18. It actually still matters because of point 5. The Radiants didn't lose their powers or have problems with their powers. They were using stormlight, powering their plate and flying, etc, right until That Moment. If the spren thought they were wrong in what they were planning, the Radiants would be losing their powers.
  19. There are a couple of other curses mentioned in the books. Bav's father saw things upside down for the rest of his life. I think his brother? got numb hands. Lift's curse is unknown. Here's a list of the ones we know: https://coppermind.net/wiki/Nightwatcher
  20. It also consumed the investiture held in the King's Drop, which was huge, so it should have been a lot.
  21. This is a valid alternative possibility but I like my theory better
  22. Right, but Notum implies that there were ways to separate the spren from the Radiant, other than killing the Radiant, until the 5th Oath. So even if it's not as simple as "the spren walked away," there do appear to be methods by which this can be done. I hope she will and can confirm if this is the case or not! See my reply to Extesian They seemed to deliberately leave their Shards in a way that would encourage people to take and fight over them and with them. Knowing the death they would bring and doing it anyway might be what managed to break their Oaths. Also my reply to Extesian Mmmm. Dalinar forced a part of the Stormfather into a solid chunk of investiture, not an actual Shardblade. I'm not sure what that has to do with the issue, though?
  23. I think it would have to grow on stormlight, otherwise it would never grow to be lanceryn sized. It just takes a lot of investiture.
  24. I just like correctness and accuracy and sharing information. Also, I was joking with you.
  25. Gravitation! How many people can hang on to your rock before the weight makes it fall off the wall.
