  1. There were 101 new comics just posted? O.o.
  2. Cycle 8: Another Few Bite The Dust Serech Huxer lurked in the multitudinous shadows of one of hallways that were everywhere. He was waiting. He’d come here for blood, and blood there had been plenty of. Only, not the blood he was after. All of Grimm’s test subjects so far had not confessed to any plots against House Huxer. But he knew that his political rivals would have made sure their agents were among the number still breathing. He was going to take matters into his own hands, starting now. He had picked this hallway carefully. He knew his intended target for interrogation would be walking down past this intersection any moment there. He heard the sounds of footsteps echoing of the steel floor. Wait for it…. Wait for it… He readied his knife, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath. 3… 2… 1… He barreled out of the shadows grabbing his prey. “Now it’s just you and me…” “Umm… Serech?” He looked up. Surrounding him were the faces of his fellow inquisitors in training. “And I think Inor smells a bit like a Skaa…” Sophia continued on, having not noticed the interuption until she looked to see if anyone was till listening. “Oh…” “See this? Serech’s a Skaa! Why else would he threaten one of us?”. “Yeah, strike him down!” Inor cried out, pointedly ignoring Sophia. “Yup, seems like we’ve got our man,” agreed Marie. Elijah cleared his throat. “Well that decides it then.” He turned to address Serech. “If you’d be so kind as to release poor Coco there, if you’ll kindly come with me…” “NEVER!” With that cry, Serech lifted his blade and begun to plunge it towards Coco to get his share of blood when the knife was yanked out of his hands, disappearing into the shadowy hallway from where the group had come. Out of the darkness strode the grinning maw of Grimm, playing with the knife that Serech had held just moments before. “Well what have we here?” The man dashed forwards, grabbing Serech and bringing him to within an inch of his face. Grimm cocked his head. “Did I hear you volunteer? Excellent! Everyone, come right this way!” A long while later... The interrogation had been quick, though mostly because he only asked one question. Serech was not a skaa, but that didn’t matter. Not really. There were more important things to life. Or rather, death. If I were a skaa, I would be plotting with my buddies in secret while the rest of us were distracted by Grimm’s lessons. But where would I hide. Lan wanted to prove himself. He had been so pleased to receive the invitation to join the Canton of Inquisition, that someone had recognized his value. He’d received his spike. But then there had been no need for a Coppercloud. No one needed him. He was forgotten, undervalued, again. So he was going to change that. He was going to find the Skaa’s secret lair and he was going to take them out. Then everyone would know how useful he was. He heard a sound. He stopped. Must be a skaa. He stepped walked out to the nearby intersection. He heard another sound, coming from the right. He turned in that direction. “I know you’re there. The game is up. Everyone’s going to know that you are skaa, and then everyone will realize how awesome I am. You’re surrounded, so come out slowly with your hands where I can see them.” A voice whispered in his ear as a hand covered his mouth. “It seems you’re the one who’s surrounded.” Then everything ended as something sharp was shoved into the back of his neck. Zephrer was Lynched. They were an Inquisitor Augur. Clanky was Killed. They were an Inquisitor Coppercloud. Vote Tally Zephrer(4): Clanky, Creccio, Ripple, Polking Creccio(1): Winter Let me know if I've forgotten anything or made any mistakes. I believe all the PM's have been sent out. Shoot me a PM if I've missed you. Player List: Quick Links: Cycle ends in 48 hours time. See the image above for details. (Credit again to Kipper!)
  3. Nominate Gamma Fiend.
  4. Alright people, Takeover GM here. Given that Gamma will be going dark at some point, and possibly within 5 hours, I'm going to be starting now, just in case he goes dark before cycle end. As such, the first thing I need to address is the cycle turnover. At the moment, this cycle ends at around 1:30 AM local time, which really is not workable for me. I just went looking for what the normal turnover was, but it seemed to vary a bit... So I'm just going to pick a new time. I'd ideally shift the cycle turnover 2 hours forward (edit: back), but to not disadvantage anyone by shifting the end of this cycle forward, I'm going to extend for a day, so that it should end at a more convenient time for me. This way, it also gives me more time to get ready, as I'm busyish today. So I've made use of Kipper's countdown clocks, and made one for when I'm currently intending the cycle to end.
  5. Well, that's how you get the Joker... I'm not sure if we need more of him...
  6. It would be Haelbarde, but as the Comms Officer on the bridge, you will will refer to me as Officer Haede. Furthermore, you should sort out your own troubles while I spend my time making sure this ship continues to run smoothly while you all point fingers at each other. (I'm spectating, is what I'm trying to say)
  7. When you spend time designing a space joke that only people who have studied orbital mechanics would get...
  8. Shh.... Spoilers...
  9. Just going to say, not impressed by the level of supervision given by those teachers at the start of the last episode. Super negligent... >:/
  10. I noted earlier today that if you stick 'Apollo' and 'Apogee' together, you get 'Apollogee' (apology). For those who don't know: So, particularly with the second, in the context of the Apollo Program, one could make a space joke from this. Not yet sure how best to put that together though...
  11. Awesome. Well, novel created, and synopsis written. It won't be getting any words till the 14th, but anyway. I'll be interested to see if I can write 'funny'.
  12. Hmmm. Wonders if I can crunch something out if I start on the 14th... 3k words a day. Maybe.... But I'd need to work out what to write. World building isn't the problem. Finding a story to tell in said world is what I find hard. Though, there's an idea that I'd imagined as a comic strip that I could maybe turn into a 50k word SciFi novel... ...Okay, Let's try this. Once exams are over...
  13. Does MLP make Neighbor(hood) puns? Because of all the horse puns I've heard used in relation to MLP, I've not seen that one, when it seems the most obvious choice.
  14. In a few week, my summer break starts, so I'd potentially be up for GMing things, if people didn't mind playing potentially highly broken proof of concepts...
