  1. Who's Heal? And I was just fact checking before editing in the details But if it turns out I'm spiked and/or die, then it really will be Haelbird the chimney sweep pretending to be Edrab.
  2. Sign me up! Edrab Leah is in town, an author of some note. This is the same Edrab who would later die in Kae, before he was rescued by a worldhopper. What did he need rescuing from? We're all about to find out together! If people are happy to play what would be highly broken experiments, I could come up with a few QF's... Also, Ruin lies...
  3. What if it were a vote for who to target? Or not everyone becomes a shade, and provided you weren't inactive and weren't holding silver, there's a chance of becoming a shade. Chance increases if you were stabbed, and more if a mutineer killed you.
  4. My main concern would be what happens when there are an equal number of living player and shades. TheThe shades could just each target a different player, and then the mutineers could get locked down.
  5. 6 would be a reasonable ballpark figure, though I think I'm going to operate under the assumption that there are seven - We have some kill roles (presumably), and Wilson wants to change the meta that's developed, and so it would not surprise me if she challenged our assumptions. Also, I think when she did test distributions, she had some that had 7. But it would likely depend on how many of each role is present. Also, to those who might be wondering if I will be doing quick links, the answer is not necessarily. Rollover is 3am, so I'm not going to be present to post them shortly after. So if someone else would like to, feel free, otherwise you can join me in petitioning the GMs to include them in the writeups.
  6. Alright, to type up my thoughts. I agree with for his reasons. My thoughts are that Mailliw is a Commander. It'd mean he'd know a reasonable number of his faction and be able to make a guess at the rest of his side, and thus have a reasonable chance at guessing a large portion of the other faction correctly. The purpose behind posting those lists is it lets him phish for peoples alignments by how people react. If people post and either don't mention the list or don't contest the list, then there is a fair chance that he correctly guessed their faction. If they contest it, then he got it wrong, and they are on the other side. We've already had half a dozen respond and so we have an idea of their alignment. Take Alvs response for example. We can suppose that Alv is indeed a Son of Honour, that he is a regular, rather than a captain, commander, etc, and that his captain is incorrectly listed, and isn't of the aforementioned mistakes. Now, what to do about it all. I don't find this to be suspicious on Mailliws part. In fact, this was exactly what I expected - I said as much in the LG15 dead doc. I also don't think we have enough information to determine which faction Mailliw is. If I were him, I would have claimed to be from the opposite faction. But I'm not sure if that's what he's done... He might also have put some of the players he knew for certain on the wrong side in a similar manner. He could have also entirely randomized the lists, but I do think that's less likely. So I think ultimately, I'm happy he did this, as it's increased the amount of information on the matter, without putting all of it out there. Edit: Typing on mobile is slow... A diagrammist could find use for knowing the factions in playing the factions against each other.
  7. Ah, so I'm not exactly that likely to bump into you around town or anything...
  8. I've already represented on the Nationality thread Adelaide, btw.
  9. Bother. I was hoping it might have been you. I was pretty sure we live in the same state, but beyond that I wasn't sure which side of the city you were to know if it was at all likely you were the culprit. Also, I just (re)discovered that Delightful was a fellow Australian.
  10. So I was buying myself a frozen sherbet drink from Hungry Jacks, and as I'm driving out, I notice something awesome. One of the cars had, around the edges of its rear windscreen, stickers of the allomantic symbols of the 16 metals. Unfortunately, I had driven off and entered the main road when the owner walked to and entered the car, otherwise I'd have said hi. If you're an Australian sharder with allomantic stickers on the back of your silver vehicle, you, sir, are awesome.
