  1. And the climax. That could have ended poorly, but so awesome.Yeah, Ep53 should certainly be interesting.
  2. I have had a similar experience to Mestiv, other the fact that I've not got the "study" thing worked out yet. What are you studying? I've been able to mitigate some of my problems by the type of courses I've taken (programming-centric courses when possible, or general courses that cover a number of different topics, which maximizes the amount of prior knowledge to new content)
  3. Hmmm? Not entirely sure what you're trying to say. but that last bit was me trying to guess what sort person Alv would let be Ryuk with Joe being Holder. Basically I was putting it out there that they were going to my start point to analyse, when I get the time.
  4. I've been listening to "You'll be back" all day. King George is the best! Totally gonna try do a recording of the song at some point...
  5. Basically, we get the murderers to kill Luna in a cycle or two. Luna, have you roleclaimed to anyone? Also, at least we don't have to worry about what how to deal with the cop now.... With Meta and Aman being taken out, and Joe being Holder (unless he's actually Ryuk trying to psyche us out..), I'd expect Ryuk to be a newer player (although not necessarily brand new), so more like Elb, Araenae, Burnt or Ripple. I have to go now though. So investigations later...
  6. I think Mailliw meant the first cycle. The main thing with with killing Joe is it'll keep him quiet... well, also it makes the Ryuk waste a turn recruiting a Holder, potentially. Otherwise, keeping alive is probably the better way to go. The main thing with with killing Joe is it'll keep him quiet... well, also it makes the Ryuk waste a turn recruiting a Holder, potentially. Otherwise, keeping alive is probably the better way to go. Edit: Do I get to say I can read evil!Joe now?
  7. .... Joe, you know that I'm killing you whenever you try be a town leader/info center in subsequent games, right? I'm more of a mind to get the murderers to put in a kill on Joe tonight, and we lynch someone else. Also, who roleclaimed to Joe? Given the Ryuk knows anything Joe does, it's worth considering telling the village, so that at least they can make use of that information too. Edit: Murderers... that was an unfortunate misfire... Edit 2: Wait, Corrupt Police Officers? Alv: How do Corrupt Police Officers work?
  8. By once per game, that's for the team. Once one cultist has done it, none of the others can. MS refers to your sanity level, whereas IP is what gets taken away from the MS pool. The 'night kill' involves the cultists showing someone a glimpse of a great old one, sending them mad. The village lynch is either a kill or sending the person to an asylum. Point is that death or madness remove players from the game. Only those who vote lose MS. And both lose MS, one loses more. I might pull that though. Depends if I can balance the point usage. And I was thinking that the revealed cultist to drop everyone's MS insta dies.
  9. @Aman: Lopen made a PM with me, 10 messages back and forth. Briefly discussed when we properly start forming opinions on other players. Lopen asked if I wanted to share if I had a role (I chose to channel Kas, and not lightly roleclaim in PM's). Briefly discussed my wariness of Joe, and if I thought I'd be able to spot evil!Burnt.
  10. Made another two today, just dropping them here so I don't lose them:
  11. Did you see my response to Joe? But yes, if you scan someone evil, either you go after them, or you say you assume they are a murderer - that's the other thing with this - the eliminators have cover... :/ And yeah, if everyone happens to scan an eliminator or murder as good, then yes, options for L have immensely dropped as far as the eliminators are concerned. So it's not as if it couldn't go horribly wrong if it was pulled off. But that's about the same as Joe's plan. Ultimately, anything we get from L could be nice, but at the end of the day, what will win things for us is if the village can catch Ryuk by themselves.
  12. So I've been musing about a Cthulhu themed game: Needs a bit of work to decide on the range of starting stabilities, and the point loss values, but thoughts?
  13. Well, fortunate in the fact it makes it a little harder for the village to mess up 'scans' and give the eliminators an easier job of working out L. Improperly scanning one of the eliminators immediately tells them that you aren't a scanner.
  14. Alternate emote: People's thoughts on posting cover for L in thread? As in each turn (starting cycle 3 or 4), everyone posts who they have 'scanned'. Then if L dies, we can look at his scans and know who's confirmed good/evil. Means we just wait and see what happens when the L's die, we get their scans, but otherwise we don't concern ourselves with following the scanner. Main thing is that everyone would have to understand how it works - when you scan people, you have to act as if that were true - not doing so tells the eliminator team that you don't actually believe your scan. Unless you're totally mind gaming it. Fortunately in this game, there's a conversion role, so just because someone scanned innocent, if a Holder has since died, any scans prior to that point become invalidated. Thoughts?
