I keep forgetting Burnt has the stone mask and cannot take actions while wearing it. I could not make sense of why Doc would be so concerned about Stick dying if they had the resurrection mask. But it's making a bit more sense now. If there is one elim dead by the start of Night 3, the game state is at 8:3. If nothing happens during the night, 8:3 is a village win. If a night kill happens, 7:3 is a elim win If a resurrection happens, but not a night kill, 8:4 is an elim win If both resurrection and night kill happen, 7:4 is very much an elim win. So the fact that there are mask in play that could interfere with both the kill and the resurrection does mean that even 1 elim dead is not ideal. So what are the worlds where there's at least one elim dead. So I know, even if I cannot prove it, that Doc is evil. I can only see that Doc would reveal himself if Stick being under threat risked the elims losing this loop. This means I am think it's safe to lock in Stick as evil. The only question then is who in the Mist / Coco / Twin pool is the final elim. With two of them being dead, this puts us in one of two worlds: World 1: No dead elims Evil team is Burnt / Doc / Stick / Mist. If Stick dies, as per above, provided the resurrection and kill aren't both prevented, they win. Say they don't actually have the res mask, Doc pulling fire makes it more likely that Mist gets off the night kill even if Stick does die. This might be slightly more risky than just trying to talk the village into killing me over Stick, but not overly so. World 2: One dead elim Evil team is Burnt / Doc / Stick and one of Coco / Twin.* Problem with Stick dying is that now two elims are dead. 9:2 going into N3. Even with a kill and a resurrection, you end up with 8:3, with a village win. Plus, Burnt cannot take actions, so it's just Doc who can do anything so you only get the kill or the resurrection, not both. So Stick dying is a definite Village Win. So Doc exposes himself to try and ensure Stick survives. This puts us into the 8:3 N3 world from above, with Doc and Stick able to put the resurrection and kill in. Though both exposed, they still have a shot at successfully achieving at least one of the actions, making for an elim victory. There is the question of why no N2 resurrection. I think that's because it would unnecessarily have exposed Doc as evil (being the only possible person to having enough rupees to pull it off), and when there was no reason to expect that Stick would have been exposed by Don Gero this turn, why risk it when you could have just resurrected Coco/Twin this evening after a simple Hael execution. (*: There is the world where the dead elim is in fact Drake. This does not make much sense though, as e!Drake requires v!Stick, and with Stick and I as the only candidates, I don't see why Doc would need to expose himself.) The upshot of it is, Doc exposing himself as an eliminator with potentially the rupees to buy a hundred rupee mask is not an unreasonable action despite being an unusual and confusing move at first glance.

Okay, this is wild. Thanks for outing yourself, that makes my life a little easier. I also had assumed that we more than likely had already lost, so it's super useful to know that actually we're close enough to working it all out that you've got to try and force a misexecution. As far as I am concerned, yes. I will note, if it turns out that Doc could indeed have the funds to buy the Mask of Truth, the bigger issue is that he will have purchased the Great Fairy Mask and will be able to resurrect an executed elim if he survives the execution. Which... say we execute Stick, and there's 1 elim already in the dead doc, and there's a night kill that hits a village. 10 players living, 8:2 would be village victory. But if doc resurrects one of the dead elims, it becomes 11 players and 8:3, which is an elim victory, both of the loop and of the game.

Alright, I'm having to paraphrase, and Ash isn't still in the doc to confirm my paraphrase, but I can pass on that Ash has communicated that in the Loop 1 dead doc, his colour was magenta while TUM used the colour of fire trucks and Wahr used the colour of healthy grass. He commented that he did not make the doc look any better, and that Wahr only spoke on the third day.

Wasn’t sure if I was going to get anything from Ash based on some of his earlier comments, but the chaos of y’all seems to have convinced him otherwise. He is amenable to sharing but he’s doing it sensibly. He wants me to first post his opinions on things, and then provided I do that accurately, he’ll share something I could use to verify it is coming from him, that way I can’t get the verification from him and then make up the content of his messages. He’s asked me to communicate 5 things. He doesn’t overly trust any of the D2 dead, but would tend to trust Drake more than the rest of them. He can’t see there being any logic behind the eliminators night killing Drake if Drake were evil He emphatically (in the sense that italics was involved rather than in terms of super duper does not trust me. I think he wanted to be clear he doesn’t overly trust me, but this is a digression from his point) does not trust me, but is willing to say that as far as he can tell (though I don’t believe he’s studied it closely) I have relayed the Dead Doc faithfully, and that importantly Drake did relay to the doc that Stick targeted him. To @Archer, he wanted me to say that he’s doing this as a favour. Although he did not spell favour with a u and he laughed afterwards. To @Doc12, he wanted me to communicate something that I think I have to paraphrase as ‘Plan Hot Sauce’ is still something he would like to see happen, irrespective of what’s happened. He wanted me to ping @Wahrheitswächter, @The Unknown Medallion, @Ashbringer He’s also noted that there is vote manip in play so it’s going to be important for everyone to be voting. He expresses that he would like people to at least consider the e!Stick possibility to see if it works without just relying on any of his past comments on the matter. (I'm going to be in classes/on buses for the next 6 hours. I'll have some opportunity to check in, but I'm not likely to be able to do any larger posts until I get home)

Anything more is going to have to wait as I must needs sleep, but Drake has appeared in the doc again, so here's what he's saying. First, he thinks I'm too polite to to be all that effective at conveying the feeling of his messages. Aman has said we cannot make reference to things outside of the context of this game, so we are somewhat limited in what we can make reference to. Best he can think of is conveying more of the clues you provided: One referring to Pennywise the Clown, one referring to educational facilities, and another referring to a person a game commentator he was not familiar with. He also thinks people should be more appreciative for him having provided answers to all your problems and that all of this is much the same as what he'd been posting about in previous turns. Ah okay, I'll have to reread it. I had just finished going through the votes tallies from previous cycles looking at the world where Stick is evil (which clears all other D2 deaths), to see what that implies. It was definitely feeling that e!Stick means v!Coco, but at least from the tallies, e!Stick and e!Burnt hadn't seemed contradictory to me. The main weird one is L2D3, but that felt like it had the potential for a WGG thing where the explosion already put them as wining the loop, so it was either have 4 elims in the living pool, or they ensure one was in the dead pool, and it'd be better to have the execution do it rather than the night kill. But I'm happy to look further at that.

If your reasons were clear from your posts, you might need to repeat yourself because having read it multiple times it your vote doesn't seem to me to be to greatly relevant to anything else you said. If you got the same thing as me (it looked like a bunch of html), then seeing as you received my PM's in the previous turns, can you appreciate how that looked like something that could have been a response to my pings? Obviously I did decode it, but only after Archer said that it was something from him, someone I hadn't previously PM'd (if you need a hint, copy the random characters after the postmaster reference into google and see what comes up).

So that's I think 4 votes on me without any reasons being given for any of them? It would be useful, to me at least, if people could be clear on whether their issue is with me (i.e. disbelieving the Captain's Hat claim or believing me to be an elim), or whether they have an issue with Drake's claim of Don Gero and Stick having targeted. Because I'm just reporting what Drake is telling me as well as I can within the bounds of what's allowable when referencing information from the doc. I don't presently have a reason to disbelieve Drake - he identified Archer as postman to me before Archer claimed in thread, or that I worked out that that the PM I received last night was a claim that Archer was postman - but obviously I don't have any knowing whether his claims are true.

Beyond referencing the other part of the crossword clue relating to someone who's super power is money, Drake says you were the only person he's had private communications with. If you had sent the same messages to Stick, the observation was it would make little sense for Stick to share them with me so that I could use them to try and get Stick executed. He mentions he does have access to the previous loops dead doc, but also points out that if Stick's evil the elims have access to that as well, so it wouldn't necessarily prove that I had the captain's mask, or certainly doesn't help prove that I am not an elim. Coco doesn't think they've got much in terms of private communication that could help, though they reference clues relating to dairy products and producers, and a young being named something sounding like cocoa. We did have the thought that if Ash does turn up, he would have access to the cycle 1 dead doc and would probably be able to provide something I could reference via paraphrase to confirm for the other two confirmed villagers that I have the Captain's Hat, but provided Ash is willing to do so (and I don't see why not), we'll have to wait both for him to check the dead doc, and then will require one of the two confirmed villagers to make an appearance in thread too.

Oh, that was you? I assumed that you were Doc or Mist responding to one of my pings from the other day. I suppose it did reference the postman, but I didn't notice or bother decoding anything further Edit: Ah yes, I see. Yes, I did receive a PM claiming Archer was the postmaster, I just hadn't known I was meant to decode it. Drake says to say he doesn't really know Coco's alignment. If it wasn't clear, the comment about Coco was my impression, but it's just that, not something I have thought about deeply, and I've not been doing a great job of keeping track of who has said what, or is linked with whom in thread.

He received a PM Night 1, and the mask told him he was only targetted by one player. Aman has previously said that the postman works by players targeting the Postman to send messages, and then the Postman targets the recipients. The player targeting him N1 will have been the Postman, should Drake have been sent a PM. Drake asked me just now to communicate to you that men with tonsures are not to cover their heads with things sounding like bovines while frowning (Drake was frowning, not the men). (He didn't use those words, but I don't think I'm meant to be copy pasting exact words from a doc).

Okay, the dead have asked me to pass along a message. Yes, I am claiming to have the Captain’s Hat this loop. Specifically, Drake is claiming to have had the Don Gero mask. He has been wearing it since N1. Last night, when he was killed, he was informed that only one player targeted him: Stick His other claim of note is that he received a PM Night 1 while wearing the mask, so knows who has the postmaster's hat. I have the name, but I don't know that it's immediately relevant to share, though happy to do so if required. In terms of the rest of the dead: Coco has been fairly active. Not getting strong elim vibes I must say. Ash has just wanted to relax, so has been in little. Twin has appeared once or twice but has not said a whole lot.

A potential concern could be that in a game where it seems the elims are quite active and confident in their position, that noise could be the elims themselves... Looking back at that, it's interesting that Mist doesn't immediately vote on Burnt after accusing her of lying and being an elim. It's only 15 minutes later after Archer suggest it. Araris follows onto the vote: So the reason to not trust burnt is because it'd mean we hadn't ever almost executed an elim, and he thought that maybe Mist would counterclaim. But I don't know that necessarily follows. Ash, Coco, and myself sorta just ignore it in the first instance, though Coco slight sus' Mist over it, rather than Burnt. Archer focuses more on e!Burnt possibilities, but they already had a vote on Burnt before Burnt's first post. TJ suses Burnt, but mostly seems to be dead set on making Coco dead. Weirdly Drake thinks v!Burnt is more likely, but votes Burnt anyway... Doc vote Burnt without deeply caring about the whole matter. I dunno. Looking at that, I'm feeling more weird about Mist/TJ, and maybe Doc, than I am Burnt. But typically, if I'm trusting Burnt, she's evil, so I'm a little divided there. I really need to look more at Doc I think. Hael (0): Mist{1} Mist (2): Doc{1}, Wonko{1} Burnt (3): Mist{2}, Drake{1}, Araris{1}
