  1. Well, I suppose that kind of sounds good. However, I would maybe like to hear a bit from Rae before I change my vote. I just want a response, but this does seem like a decent trade we can make unless Rae has some sort of super useful role.
  2. As far as Anamax goes, I kind of have two things to say. The first is that, if he is an eliminator, I assume that he would be plenty active in the doc for that and thus lynching him poses basically no risk because of how little he tends to post in the thread. But I am also a little worried that maybe we are being a little hostile to him. I don't really think that, because these games are pretty cutthroat and we need everyone to participate as much as possible to be able to win. The lack of a village kill role this game also means that we do need to spend a lynch to get rid of him. So my proposal would be to put him on Missions, so that he has to contribute something. That seems like a somewhat elegantish solution to the problem. So yeah, I do kind of agree with what Ada said in this regard. I'm going to vote for LUNA. I am not totally up to speed on how things are going, but I don't think this is a bad lynch for us to make and I want to give you guys a definite piece of info about myself.
  3. Is the bit about two of my ancestors being beheaded just for flavor? Because don't remember dying before the last generation.
  4. Bother. I said I would be contributing this weekend, and here I am, tired even before dinner time. Well, I would like to say that I have found Mailliw to be a little suspicious this cycle, but maybe that is a common reaction people have to him, so I'm not sure. If I had to place a vote right now it would probably be on him, but this is a night cycle so I'm all good. I appreciate how STINK has been playing, since it makes him a little easier to read. Luckat seems to be more active than I remember, but this is more of a good thing than something to suspect. I just wanted to put it off as a little inconsistent with my memory. Yeah. I'll maybe be back tomorrow if homework doesn't take all day.
  5. Hey guys, my college semester just started and things are a bit busy for me, so I'll do my best to catch up on what is going on this weekend and make some useful contribution, or at least say some things so you guys can get a better read on me.
  6. You know, Mailliw, I built a University in Fellise that you could probably use for that, for a small fee.
  7. Araris stood atop the roof of Keep Penrod, among a well kept garden. The Keep was far finer than the residence in Fellise that he had grown up in, yet here at the top none of that could be seen. Once, this place had been a symbol of what had united the Houses. The potatoes growing here were descendants of the very ones that Hadrian had delivered among the High Nobility, which had formed a link between Penrod and Urbain. But in the midst of the skaa rebellion, Urbain had lost its keep, and the name of Hadrian had been sullied. Only the potatoes remained, but with them, the heart of Hadrian was still alive. A love for people and good, honest labor. Araris knew, beyond all else, that he could not lose sight of that vision. Any who sought to distract him with promises of wealth or alliances that were unable to meet his standards would be quickly turned away. Now, more than ever, House Penrod would show the Ministry, the Lord Ruler, the Nobility and the Skaa that it would not be cowed by an execution. Actions:
  8. Well, I was busy the latter part of the cycle, but if anyone hasn't shown up we could pair them with 3 active folks. I saw that as a suggestion that seemed pretty solid in the thread discussion. I guess I don't mind being front and center for a game if it means I die early and get to spend more time on HttFE and school, so I'll volunteer myself as a start.
  9. Well, I pretty much know Mark is good, and I think that I am going to trust the note about Twei being good. Which means that DC is more suspicious than Elbereth, because Elbereth was the one that said what the note was in the first place. So yeah, I am probably not going to change my mind about this one unless everyone disagrees with me.
  10. I'm going to change my vote for now. Elbereth. DC, Burnt posted a list of her player suspicions in the thread, and I tied for the lowest on her list. While she might have changed her opinion or not been entirely honest with the thread, I am really doubtful that she would have moved from me being lowest on her list to one of the people she suspected most. I also find it a bit off that the two people she mentioned both happen to be people that are alive right now, at the end of the game.
  11. So Mark, the ray gun isn't built yet. I have 2 pieces from the three people I killed, and Elbereth has the last one. If Elbereth is an eliminator, then taking the action to build the ray gun this next night would prevent her from using an eliminator kill. So there would be no benefit. If she is a villager however, then the village basically gets 2 kills during the second day cycle, and we win. I'm pretty sure that Mark cannot be an eliminator. I feel that if DC was one, then he would have found a mentor. Both of those reasons could be faulty, especially if DC is lying about his role. I would suggest that Mark scan DC tonight just for potential confirmation on that. I guess, ignoring everything except for roles and so forth, there is a reason not to kill everybody. Elbereth can get a kill for next cycle, so can I. Twei has a chance of blocking the eliminator kill (which would be awesome). Mark couldn't have sent in a kill last night if Twei also got a note. And DC probably would have gotten a role. I guess what I have now points towards Elbereth a bit more than anyone else. I have nothing to do all day tomorrow, so I will be checking the thread constantly and probably keeping up with my own replies. Edit: Mark, I spent the entire game prepping for those 3 kills. I wasted some time in there, but I can't kill 3 people every second cycle. It is more like 1 person every second cycle. If it was 3 then I would say that we don't lynch anybody for the next two cycles and let me kill everyone. Which I could kind of do, actually. A no lynch is a possibility that could help us, but if I died then my whole plan would go down the drain, so it isn't that good of an idea really. More Edit: Word of Alvron is that if two people are left with kill roles then they both die. So... I guess we could have the first tie game ever, haha.
  12. If two players are left, both with kill roles that they are able to use that cycle, who wins? Because I have a couple unfortunate scenarios that end that way. Also, does the writeup indicate if someone gets attacked twice? I'm trying to lay things out for myself to see how we should win this. Rolewise, we don't lose anything from killing Deathclutch this cycle, and I am honestly suspicious of him for not participating in the thread. However, I feel like a rookie on the eliminator team would have mentored up right away, so once again I don't really know. Especially with the body snatcher. I think giving Elbereth a ray gun is a pretty good idea, because it is useless if she is an eliminator (have to waste a night action to build the gun, which would give her away), and if she isn't then it is an extra village kill, so in a 2-1 situation the villager wins for sure. I also will have a kill by next cycle. I think we can soft-clear Mark since a note from him came through. Unless I am the last eliminator, or there are two left (in which case we are rusting doomed), the eliminators probably sent in a kill action last night. I used an action last night, but if I was the last eliminator then 3 kills is way better than 1. I would like to hear from Mark and Twei a bit more though.
  13. I just went through the thread a bit, and tried to draw up some conclusions. Firstly, Deathclutch, how have you not been killed by inactivity? Could you please tell us what you have been doing secretly while not participating in the thread? Basically your only connections to anybody in this game are to Kynedath, who was a traitor. I was feeling like Twei was very much a villager until a point where people brought up she tried to deflect attention from Lopen onto Mailliw. I'm still not sure about this. Mark, for the most part, I don't have anything too suspicious against except that he failed to vote for Meta after the reveal, but he was willing to vote for Meta during day 1 with not too much evidence. And Elbereth, well I don't have much of a read here. Lots of involvement, some with eliminators, but I'm a little less suspicious here since Lopen led us to believe that you were some sort of eliminator. If Lopen had turned out to be good then I would be all over you because of that note, but now it doesn't really mean too much. Can we get a list of all the relevant snitch notes that people here have recieved? I know that I am a Demolitionist, Twei appears to be a bodyguard, Mark is a blind Snitch, so do we have anything on Deathclutch or Elbereth as far as notes, or are you two willing to reveal?
  14. So yeah, I'm a demolitionist. My role basically lets me kill someone every second cycle, and I doubt that the eliminators have one, since that seems like a pretty strong ability. I'll refrain from giving out the details of what it does, since I will probably be able to use my power one more time before the game ends and I don't want the eliminators to know how to deal with it. As for why those three: Well, basically, my power lets me target a person, but if they die, then the target randomly moves to one of their killers. I had targeted phatt, Ada and Kipper originally, but all of them died. Since Ada died by an eliminator, I thought that I could get his killer. But either that person had already died or someone redirected my action when I targeted Ada. So ultimately I was shooting mostly in the dark with a chance to hit the last eliminator. And at least my kills seem to have overlapped with the eliminator kill, so things aren't all bad. A 3-1 game at this point would be pretty bad for us. I'm going to vote for Deathclutch right now, just so that he comes and posts. We need to be hearing from everybody this cycle, and I should have enough time to go through and do analysis of everyone, which is only 4 people anyways.
  15. Yeah. I could kill 3 people, and I was reasonably certain/hopefulish that one of them was the person that killed Ada. I didn't know any identities, so it was a bit of a shot in the dark, and it appears that it didn't pay off. Does anyone have a focusing crystal, btw? I have the other two components for a ray gun, but I don't really trust myself with killing people, so ask and it will be given. If one of the villagers can get a ray gun, assuming only 1 eliminator, I don't see how we can lose this. Also, what is the deal with the mortician? Did we not have one, or are you just waiting to come out, or did I miss it when you died?
  16. Thank you a lot for running this Meta! One year, Aralis is going to be right about everyone else being crazy. For now, I guess he has to settle for being dead...
