I feel the stone is really important. Not only because the Shin find stone sacred, but also because they don't mine stones. And this stone has an ore vein in it which makes me think it was mined or something.

For some reason I thought Nicrosil ferrings could get to Shadesmar, but like Darnam said there's no evidence to prove it or disprove it.

Shardlet and WeiryWriter thanks for the links. Now because of this I think there's something bigger than voidbinding (yes I still believe it's voidbinding) happening, but I don't want to be chastised for baseless speculation. Also hoser I think that the symbols are pointing at something, but I don't know what they could be pointing at.

Oh, I heard that the table was a voidbinding chart because it had reversed surge symbols. Also Brandon put it in the cover like the Surgebinding chart so I thought it was important. Do you know where it says that this is a stained-glass window?

Has anyone else noticed that on the map of Kharbranth in TWoK there are voidbinding symbols? The symbol makes me wonder if this is the map Shallan made of Kharbranth or a map from the Ghostbloods?

Hey, I've been a lurker for a while but the shardhunt has convinced me to join up (having trouble with hint #2). I've been a Brandon Sanderson since reading Mistborn (I talk/text my friends in Spook's language and it's hilarious). Warbreaker is my favorite book of Brandon's and Lightsong and Hoid are tied for my favorite character.
