Night 5 It seemed as though everyone wanted to make up with the lack of voting the day before by arguing over who to kill all day long. Mac sat in his house, listening to everyone argue in the streets. He heard his name a couple times and understood that this day would probably be his last. He held the stone medallion he had purchased from forage. After hearing Meta denounce Forage's goods, and the death of forage himself, Mac realized that the medalion didn't have any magical properties, but he couldn't bring himself to throw it away. It was really the only thing of any value he'd ever owned. The door crashed in and the villagers came for him. As a hand reached for him, Mac instincively grabbed for the wrist to protect himself. There was a snap and a scream. Mac looked up, realizing he had accidently snapped Meta's arm bones. The arm hung at a horribly unnatural angle. "I'm sorry!" Mac said "I keep forgeting how stong I am" No one seemed to be listening to him. The villagers murmured among themselves. Mac heard the words "monster," "voilent' and "killer" multiple times. Everyone leaped for him at once and dragged him off to hang him. The medallion fell from Mac's hand as they dragged him through the street. Day 4 Arst snuck through the night, getting ready for the kill. He had retreived his steel dagger from two nights ago and held it in his hand. He saw his target in the street ahead of him and lifted up his dagger, ready to charge, when once again a force yanked the dagger out of his hand. Arst swore and burned bronze. He sensed the pulses of someone burning iron. Vowing never to bring metal weapons to an assasination again, he charged after the sorce of the pulses, determined to get his dagger back. He became aware of another set of allomantic pulses, coming from a different direction. Bartson snuck through the night, flaring tin. He was pretty sure he knew where the spiked would be meeting this night. He snuck over to the abandoned house of Yeb, one of the first victims the spiked had targeted. As he got close, he heard voices indistinctly. He dropped a boxing on the ground and Pushed off of it, landing on the roof. He crouched down and put his ear against the roof, trying to listen. Suddenly, the roof collapsed and Bartson fell into a lit room. “well, it seems as if our next target has delivered himself to us.” A shadowed figure announced. An obsidian axe fell, separating bartson’s head from his body. ----------------------- Business was hard for Forage. At first when the mysterious “hoid” had set up trade with forage, business had been booming. Everyone had been eager to come and spend their money on the mysterious goods from other worlds, but he had not seen anything of Hoid in three years, and people still clamoured for the mysterious goods, and forage had been forced to offer inferior substitutes. He laid in his cot at the back of his store, lamenting his fate, when suddenly a noise came from the shop. Hopeful, he walked in to the front of his store “hoid?” he called out “is that you?” “nope” said a voice, and a spray of coins hit forage in the chest. ------------------- That night, with bartson’s inn abandoned, two messages appeared.
