  1. Did he die, or was he just instantly reborn in the minds of many?!
  2. No I hear you on those points. I wouldn't even try to defend SC2 or Diablo I like them but... I don't know. To get to max level in Diablo you have to replay the same line like 4 times. That wouldn't be so bad, but like you said, no talent trees means.... not much going on the last 3 runs. I've noticed the map editor problem happening basically everywhere. I'm more of a console gamer, and after Halo 3 and FarCry 2 I thought every game would include an awesome map editor and a theater mode.... It seems so obvious but apparently that just wastes time when you are trying to publish one new game a year under the same title. I see that happening all the time, is my point, but you are right, it was really noticeable with Blizzard after they had such a good start. Edit: Glad it was you that I gave that 500th upvote to. Looking at 499 I couldn't help myself, but at least you deserve it, hahahaha. That is to say, congratulations!
  3. It does have more modes. One of them being Campaign multiplayer if I am not mistaken. Like you play through multiplayer matches and there is a story element to them that you progress through.
  4. BOLD THEORY: Dalinar used to be a simple potter. Goes to Nightwatcher. Boon is to be A HIGHPRINCE and everyone remembers him that way, but he forgets the love of his life: HIS POTS. Gonna start a thread if someone doesn't stop me quick.
  5. Ah! Ok, my apologies. I hope we get an interlude chapter from this special potter who also sees the visions hahaha.
  6. Hey I sent you a message about this a long time ago and only just noticed the difference, but it is so much better. Thanks for your work, Chaos!
  7. I was hoping that is what you were referencing. Him saying that he doesn't know who will receive it doesn't mean it is for everyone. Perhaps that other person who has seen visions is special as well. I mean 2 out of the entire population is pretty selective. It could be that he broadcast it to everyone and only those to are just randomly able, but it could also be something like only people who have bonded this type of Honorspren can have such a connection with Honor that they see the visions. It could be selective without being directed.
  8. I don't mean to presume to know you well, but most of my friends who claim this really have just changed. They list the things they don't like about Blizzard games, but they haven't played them in 3 years and have only heard the negatives for so long. I can usually provide enough info that they reconsider to the point of saying "It's just not the style I like anymore." I've found that the couple who have come back to WoW or given Hearthstone a try have really surprised themselves. Also, I've been playing the Titanfall beta this week, and while I've always thought I'd buy a copy, MAN that beta just outright sold it. Really good game that people should consider on XB1, 360, or PC.
  9. Where is any evidence that they are for everyone? To me it seems as though they are directed at one person, albeit one unknown person.
  10. In one of the newest WoR chapter releases, Adolin fights a duel for a Shardblade. He behaves in a manner that is considered completely innappropriate and is then rude to just about everyone. Regardless, the referee instructs the duelist from the other house to hand over his Shardblade as Adolin had won. He complies and that is that. Maybe the most questionable duel any of them had seen, and it didn't start a war or even a conflict.
  11. Dueling doesn't start war between highprinces though. Adolin might at this rate, but standard duels are common.
  12. Sadeas wouldn't challenge a Breadbearer. Not even for a Breadblade.
  13. The point was more that Kaladin's reaction to Amaram will be noticeable at one point or another, and I'm sure that will lead to other members of Bridge 4 becoming aware of his feelings on the subject.
  14. I guess I'm not taking into account that Syl is learning and growing in terms of her understanding of things. Originally I didn't even consider Syl because it doesn't sound like her to defend or trash talk lighteyes specifically. I guess sometimes she is the voice of reason, but so many times the other members of Bridge 4 have stood up for Dalinar, it just immediately felt like a response from someone who reveres him. Syl might though. And I thought Syl would have seen what Amaram did and not sounded so passive about Amaram's integrity here.
  15. Eh, he could be talking to any of his close Bridge 4 friends, honestly. He'll be raging after that last chapter, I don't think he is going to be able to say that there's no problem and he is just fuming for no reason.
  16. I remember those theories. We are hell bent on making connections where they don't exist, hahaha. I am currently on my break from the forums. I explained it somewhere else, but I just can't bring myself to find very many of the topics interesting when I know that a whole new book is coming out in 2 weeks. Especially when you have Peter saying that there are hugely outrageous reveals ahead. It's just like... eh, I'm probably about to have my Rosharan world turned on it's head anyway. Still following along some places, but more just waiting.
  17. Man, I always always always want to make a theory out of the map of Roshar being a similar shape to the double eye, and Kaladin growing up in an area that would place him about where his Order sits on the chart. But.... it never works out This topic brought that back again.
  18. Oh ok, it sounded like you were saying he read the whole thing but you'd only share the non spoiler stuff.
  19. Wow this is the very first time I have seen mention of a piece of WoR material and thought "Nonononononononoooooo, I want nothing to do with that right now." Congrats to those who got to hear it though!
  20. We might also be referencing that process with some incorrect undertones. It may not be that you need to "trap" spren to use fabrials. It could be more of a nature thing, you know? Maybe spren really like being useful in those ways considering it is the idea they are based around. That being said, maybe that is the difference between old and new fabrials?
  21. I'm sorry, that is a Words of Radiance character. Forgot what forum I was in. Doesn't really spoil anything though.
  22. 1. Dalinar 2. Hoid 3. Kaladin 4. Lift 5. Taravangian 6. Jasnah 6. Navani (tie) 8. Rock 9. Darkness 10. Puppy Least favorites are Renarin, Adolin, and Shallan. The young ones have some growing up to do. (Except for Lift, who is an outlier.)
  23. If Shallan's father actually was Soulcasting large mineral deposits or whatever, perhaps that sphere was the cause of his failings. Something like Szeth buries the stone -> Shallan's dad tries to Soulcast the land -> he can't -> it freaks him out -> he investigates -> finds the stone -> something something something Shallan kills everyone. Maybe one possibility.
  24. There is a WoB somewhere that Hoid's Lightweaving was from Yolen. I'll try to find it. That explains it, but isn't the one I'm thinking of. Can't find it quickly so..... sorry.
