  1. ......O.o I didn't think we would actually win this cycle. Congratulations, Villagers! We did it! And with a Flawless victory? O.o That was wholly unexpected. I would like to give a round of applause to everybody who participated. It really was a group effort! Post-game analysis will help us figure things out and help determine just how we managed to pull that off. I do think it was a combination of slight luck, some good deduction skills, but also, with just how things worked out, I would say the game may have been slightly stacked in the Villagers favor. I could easily see this game have going the complete opposite way if different choices had been made. I will try and add more, and maybe a bit of RP in a little bit here, but I just wanted to get this post up quickly. Thanks again to the GM 'Troll' Almighty for running this game, and you did a fantastic job and coordinating and organizing everything, and the write-ups were fantastic! Thank you, Ren! Edit: Awww. I don't get to look through all the awesome Messages I would have received! I was interested in seeing what Codenames people had assigned for themselves, too! Edit2: Ugh. I'm so glad I wasn't a Skybreaker this game! I hate codes! XD
  2. The Famed Gamin watched on as the innkeeper lady proclaimed Happy Hour and offered to buy everyone a drink and then offering half-price for the rest of the drinks. Half price? The Famed Gamin pondered. What's half of free? He never understood why people paid for things. Wasn't it much easier to just take stuff when nobody was looking? Then again, not everybody had the awesome sleight of hand that he had developed whilst living on the streets all those years. I wonder if she's trying to distract us with the cheap booze? The Famed Gamin thought, grabbing a drink off of the counter discretely. He knew he wasn't "old enough" to drink, by many Society's Standards, but he just shrugged and downed his glass of coloured wine as quickly as possible. He didn't know what the colours meant, but he knew he sure liked the taste. "Orange is my favorite colour," he said, smacking his lips with a satisfied grin. He peeked around and went to grab a second drink. Hey! Dol! Merry Dol! Ring a ding dine-o! Ring a dong, hop along, the taste is very fine-o! Fam Gam, The Fam-ed Gam, enjoys to drink his wine-o!
  3. Meh, since Kaladen is pretty much not responding at all, I might as well go ahead and throw my Vote on Gart. Just to ensure that Full Lashing shenanigans don't accidentally prevent a lynch from actually going through.
  4. Well I'm still not entirely sure of who is most suspicious, from how things have been going, but one thing I want to point out that a few people seem to be using for their "defense", inactivity does not excuse anybody from being an Eliminator. There's nothing wrong with being Inactive, it definitely happens in these games. But people should not rely on that as an excuse as to why they can't be guilty. I'll probably be Illuminating Kaladen tonight, as I haven't heard back from him since voting for him, so I just want to make sure nobody will Full lash him so we don't overlap on anything. I'd recommend the Full Lashers hit whoever the top suspects are that don't get lynched. (So probably QC right now, if Gart does get lynched). We're all in this together still, people!
  5. Heh, this book is when my love of Mat hit full swing. Basically for the reason you explained. He tried his best to dip, and just keeps getting drawn into battle after battle, and next thing he knows, everybody's calling him some amazing general. XD Poor guy just wants to dip out, find a nice tavern, play some dice, drink some wine, and bounce a pretty lass on his knee. I believe this is the point in the series where I just kept reading as much as possible -- solely for the reason of getting to the next Mat chapter. I mean, I enjoyed everyone else and their stories and chapters still..... but just.... MATRIM BLOODY CAUTHON! (P.S., his arc just gets better and better)
  6. Update to the Plan: Any Non-Squires, along with Spam, or instead of it, you all can Message me with 4 possible different Keywords to give along with a Codename and password for yourselves. This will be for in-case any of you get Squired tonight. The 4 Different Keywords can be for any possible Lashings you receive if you're Squired, or just use the 4th if not. So everybody send me an anonymous Message with just a Codename, a Password, and whatever eligible Keyword(s). So those with Lashings already still need to only send me one, with what Lashing they have in the Message. And remember to only post your Keyword once I have posted the appropriate Password in thread. So to keep whoever has what anonymous just in case of interception. Oh, and to also get things going lynch-wise, I'm going to throw a vote up on Kaladen to prompt him to come post a better defense than "I'm innocent and inactive" Edit: Redacted Vote.
  7. The Famed Gamin wandered through the streets, seeing the bleak despair The Final Desolation had brought with it. People were silent and brooding in their dark thoughts, and despite the success of the villagers so far, it seemed like the peoples' spirits weren't that high still, with no immediate next suspect. Suddenly, a bright idea struck The Famed Gamin and her ran over to the lake where the man known as Serji had been casting his nets. After a brief discussion, and an even briefer apology from The Famed Gamin for suspecting the man, he rushed back into town, in his arms carrying a net full with fish for the villagers to feast on. People were able to hear The Famed Gamin before they could see him, as he hummed and sang a nonsense song, hopping along in his yellow boots and oblivious to the odd looks he was receiving. Hey, dol! merry dol! Fear not the famine Ring a dong, hop along, bringing folk some salmon. Fam Gam, Merry Fam, For I'm The Famed Gamin! After dropping the load of fresh fish off at the Eye of the Storm Inn, The Famed Gamin bowed out of the tavern and turned around, skipping away and continuing his silly song. Hey! Come merry dol! Derry dol! Light-blinding Light goes the storming-winds, set the spheres-a-shining! Down along, under hill, glowing in the moonlight Waiting in the Valley, for Radiant Stormlight. There my pretty lady is, known as the Nightwatcher Fair as the highstorm, and nicer than Stormfather! The Young Famed Gamin, boon-and-curse-a-bringing. Comes hopping home again. Can you hear him singing? --------------- Plan Update: Also, when people Message me with their Lashings tonight, let me know what you're using tonight as well, if you can, so I can know who can actually use what next Cycle. But one thing about this plan is, we'll still need to get something figured out for tonight, to prevent as much possible overlap, and I still don't really have an idea for that yet. Any thoughts, anybody? Edit: I'm not aware of any codes or anything set up between people yet, and I have none established myself. But I suppose it's safe to let Wurum know he should be protected tonight, so he can go ahead and Basic Lash me, if he'd be so kind. Don't make me ask in rhyme format! (Please don't, I suck at poems and singing! )
  8. So, in the Squire Doc I came up with this idea. All Squires with Lashings PM me tonight with your Lashing, so I can try and get things coordinated going forward. But don't sign the message with your name. Instead, give yourself a Codename to use, that I can refer to you as in the thread the next cycle, along with a Password that you want me to post in-thread to confirm that I received your message. And then, once I post the Password in the thread, I would also ask each of you to include a Keyword that you will use in one of your posts, so I can actually determine who is who. I will keep your identity confidential, of course, and that's why I would say you only post with your Keyword after I have given the appropriate Password to your Message. I would also then ask everybody else to Spam my inbox tonight as well, just to make sure there's no Reverse Lashing shenanigans, just in case. (we shouldn't have to worry about that, but it's better to be safe). So: Everybody messages me, either Spam or with your Lashings. Include: Codename Password Keyword Does this plan sound good to everybody? I hate to have it set-up where one person or a small group start to dictate who uses what, but this is the best way I can think of to coordinate things going forward while still being safe and keeping things anonymous to the thread (and thus the SoB). Oh, and I would of course have to rely on somebody Basic Lashing me to keep me alive, of course. Thoughts?
  9. Unfortunately there's not been too much activity in there either. Seems like most of us keep missing each other and aren't able to get in there that often. I would be down with people in the thread discussing who the best possible candidates would be for Illuminating, though, so it's not just down to my "executive" decision on who I hit with it. I would appreciate people's input on that. But seems how there's been not that much discussion of who we should even lynch yet, right now, I don't see that conversation being too enlightening yet either. One idea I did recently propose in there would be maybe going over all of the Claimed Messages in the game so far, so to see who has been sending Messages to other players. The idea behind that is running off the assumption that the Skybreakers would have been mostly messaging each other or their Henchman, so regular players wouldn't have received Messages from them. So if we can narrow down that list, that could possibly lead us to the last SoB. Was just a suggestion I had earlier, and I would love some feedback on that to see if it potentially has any merit or not.
  10. Yes, that was me who sent that link. Who doesn't love Yakkety Spam? Edit: I only received one message, and it was Spam, offering me the chance to 'Become a Highprince!' Like The Famed Gamin said, been there, done that. It's overrated.
  11. The Famed Gamin sat and stared at the darkening red sky with a creeping feeling of unease slowly rising from his gut. He gulped. Oh Storms.... He still couldn't believe Rutil's final actions. He had saved Wurum, despite him being a bad guy......He was a bad guy, right? He asked himself, starting to feel uncertain about the whole affair. Nearby the deflated corpse of that shadow monster still lay in the middle of the street, nobody wanting to go near it. "Why couldn't it have been a Noon-Essence?" The Famed Gamin tried to joke, much to the chagrin of everybody standing nearby. "What?" He asked incredulously, looking around. "Too soon? It's not my fault I wasn't here to deal with it! I had other errands to run. If I was here though...." He paused and did another look around before jumping up in the air, his limbs flailing around uselessly and without any sense of skill or control. "I would have given it the good old one-two!" He spectacle only convinced people he was even more of a fool, as it only accomplished him splashing around more mucky water with his yellow boots as he stomped around in the puddles. He heard a sigh from near his feet. "Must you really splash around and cause so much ruckus?" Glys wound his way up around his legs. "I have the results on Serji you wanted, by the way, if you can calm down long enough for me to report." The Famed Gamin abruptly stopped and cocked his head. "Oh yeah? So is he a filthy SoB?!" "Um..... no. I don't even know why you suspected him, if I can speak frankly." "Are you kidding me? Look at him! With his numbers, and his study of 'linguini' -- whatever sort of dish that is! How is he not suspicious?" "You mean.... linguistics? The field of study dedicated to the science of language? How is that even remotely suspicious? I'd be more wary of that spam message offering you the chance to become 'Highprince' through a 'Reality Show'. Whatever that is." Glys frowned, making his feelings of the offer known. "Pfft. Highprince. Been there, done that. It's overrated." The Famed Gamin waved the offer off, knowing spam when he saw it. Although I might need to get me some of that Naihar Brand Stormlight..... Glys coughed, trying to get The Famed Gamin's attention. He had to do this a lot when the petulant child just wouldn't listen. "Um, what about The Desolation? Those red clouds do not look too friendly...." "I know that! I've lived on the streets long enough to know what looks friendly and what doesn't!" The Famed Gamin huffed. "What about it? We're trying our best, trying to hunt down these filthy storming Skybreakers!" "And what good is that doing, may I ask? It seems to me that both of you should be on the same side.... not fighting amongst each other whilst Voidbringers roam free....." "But-but..... they started the in-fighting!" "Yes. But what about your Oaths? Why not offer friendship to the remaining Skybreaker. Surely if there henchman can do that" Glys pointed at the tattered carcass of the Midnight Essence flapping in the wind to emphasize what he was referring to, "then maybe their Leader will be more useful to use alive? Hm?" "Wait.... are you saying we should offer a truce?!" The Famed Gamin couldn't keep the incredulity out of his voice. ------- Whew! While I didn't suspect Tulir of being a Skybreaker, I suppose that didn't mean he wasn't a Henchman! O.o This has been an incredibly lucky game for us Villagers. Day 5 and no innocent deaths! Now, my offer for a 'Truce' isn't for any sort of gloating or anything. It's mostly an RP sort of offer, but I suppose it could be taken up if the final Skybreaker decides to agree to it! (Also, I promise to stop calling you SoBs if you do! ) But Ren's RP of The Desolation reminded me for the flavour of this game. It is A Desolation. Even if it means nothing for the game, we can still have fun with it! Join us, Skybreaker! Let us fight off the Voidbringers, as our Oaths Intended us to do! (You just need to stop killing us.....) Don't make The Famed Gamin give you his puppy-dog face and ask again! Nobody can resist the loveable cuteness of that! Edit: I did scan Serji. He is a Villager. I just put in the info via RP, so it may have been harder to see.
  12. Um, are you referring to the bolding you did in this post? Because where are you getting this so called information? In that post you said you were bolding "non-lynched/evil" players, and now you're saying that you were bolding "non-evil" players? Because either way, that just doesn't make any sense. We only know that Me and Wurum are the only possible non-evil players we have right now. And you had Jeno bolded on that list, when he was in-fact, an already dead and known to be Henchman. I'm just not understanding where you've made the assumption that Naihar and Aladdin fit under that same category of you and Jeno? Because either way, it's just not making any sense to me at all right now. And yeah, your message just reeks too much of "oh woes me I'm innocent!", to me. I don't really understand it. And then the fact that you added a bandwagon vote onto Tulir for absolutely no reason, besides which just looks like with you going with the flow of the lynch, and not offering any actual insight into the discussion. And as somebody pointed out above, I have already said who I've all scanned before, in the beginning of the cycle. Meta was my first target, Aonar my second. So for right now I'm placing a vote on you, Jain. because your arguments just aren't adding up, and your behaviour is quite suspicious, to say the least.
  13. Now, I don't know about you guys.... but I've masked my writing style in a message or two of mine, for the whole point of keeping it anonymous (mostly in case of interception). So why do we think a Skybreaker would write using the same typing patterns when specifically trolling other players? Just something to consider. Will try and go back through and get a vote in based off of actual suspicion and player. Oh, and from one of the messages I received last night, I was informed that Tulir was the person that was Full Lashed yesterday. Not sure if I can believe this or not without coordinating more messages with people, but something else to consider.
  14. Well I may not have too much to add game-feedback wise, but doesn't mean I can't get some last minute RP in! There was a small and quiet thud of a padded coin as it hit the ground, and Fien burned pewter right before his maladroit landing, pushing lightly off of the coin with steel to break his fall. He tucked into a roll before immediately springing back to his feet, trying to regain his balance as he paused and strained to hear any sounds with his tin-enhanced hearing. He could feel the cold and damp rough grain of the stone rooftop he was standing on with the bare feet, his faded grey mistcloak blending in with the heavy mists. Now that he was done with his silly charade, and the Luthadel House Wars were over, he was able to get back to his regular routine. He heard a sharp sound from behind him, and he rapidly spun around, tossing out a handful of padded coins and pushing against them in the direction of the noise as he watched the blurred blue lines of the coins as they trailed away from him. The coins were padded to help prevent from making any sound as he jumped around with him. Flaring tin and trying to penetrate the mists in front of him, Fien almost heard the sound from behind him too late and spun out of the way just in time to dodge an attack from behind. He smiled as he heard Gamad curse before the steward dropped down to his feet into a sweeping leg kick, forcing Fien to jump out of the way and burn iron to pull himself away from the physical onslaught. Before Fien could blink Gamad had already regained his feet in one fluid motion as he finished his leg sweep and launching at him, raining down a flurry of expertly placed blows. Lord Ruler is he fast! Fien cursed, back peddling and burning pewter to be able to withstand the fierce strikes. The young lord of House Urbain might have been a trained Mistborn, but he was still sparring with a Terrisman Keeper trained in the art of combat, and Gamad's experience showed. With a blur of speed, Gamad performed a roundhouse kick, catching Fien off guard and hitting him in the ribs. Fien could feel the dense strength contained within the kick, and knew the steward had burned the metals for speed and strength before landing the blow. Fien flew back a few feet, flaring pewter to endure the kick, and performing a backwards somersault as he landed to to quickly get back to his feet before Gamad was upon him once more. In years of sparring with the Terrisman, Fien had never actually won any of their fights. But he knew if he could survive the onslaught of a battle-practiced feruchemist, most mistborns or mistings weren't even considered a challenge. He thrust his hand forward, causing Gamad to leap aside out of the way of any possible projectiles he would push with steel, and smiled, glad that Gamad had actually fallen for his feint. With his other hand, Fien dropped a coin at his feet and pushed off of that instead, jumping at the same time with pewter enhanced legs, making him soar up in an arc and over the Terrisman's head. Gotcha! He thought with a wicked grin, as he now threw out the handful of coins he was holding onto, and sent them flying down towards Gamad who was still recovering from his dodge before. His tin enhanced ears heard the small thuds and the grunt of Gamad as the coins landed and hit their target. He knew the man would be fine with his years of stored health, and sure enough, less than a second later, Gamad leapt up through the mists himself to come meet Fien as he started to fall back towards the earth. The both of them grappled in midair as Gamad leveraged his weightless body up and around Fien before tapping all of his weight instead, as gravity took over and both of them plummeted back towards the ground. Fien frantically burned iron and steel, looking for any metal sources he could anchor himself to nearby, as he felt Gamad's muscles grow in size and strength, his weight also increasing, as he tightened his squeeze around Fien, forcing the air out of his lungs. There were a few blue lines pointing toward the coins he had shot earlier lying on the ground, and Fien flared his steel, pushing against them as hard as he can to slow his descent, while simultaneously pulling with iron towards nearby latches and pieces of metal on buildings nearby. His fall slowed, and right before hitting the ground he stabilized, barely hanging a foot or two off the ground, suspended in mid-air. He heard Gamad suck his teeth behind him, and before Fien could do anything else, Gamad let go with one arm and started punching the mistborn in the back of the head, his fists feelings like bricks as they pounded into the back of his head, making his skull feel like an anvil, and Gamad's arm the hammer. Dazed and dizzy, Fien lost his concentration on his metal anchors, and he fell to the ground, with the weighted Gamad still on top of him as he landed, knocking the rest of the air out of him. In a blur of speed, Gamad had regained his feet and planted his bare foot on Fien's neck. Fien sighed. "I concede!" he wheezed, reaching out with his hand. Gamad smiled and let his foot of of him, and helped Fien back to his feet. "You almost had me sir," he said, showing his arm which still bore the marks of where the coins had hit him earlier. "I thought for sure I had you when you feel for my distraction," he grinned, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a handful of tiny rocks. "By the Lord Ruler, I'll get you one of these days," Fien grinned, still panting for breath, his skull starting to throb and ache. "And now, time to go get drunk!" He happily exclaimed, jumping back up to his feet. He was going to be sore for at least a few days after this one. "Um, can't you not get drunk when burning pewter?" Gamad asked. "Well, I'm going to keep drinking until I find out one way or another," Fien replied with a wink. "Now, do you want to help me go play a prank on Mesist? I was thinking of changing all of his servants livery out and replacing them with garments bearing my house colours. It's bad enough that I agreed to change them on the occasion I can actually beat you. I might as well go make everybody else suffer along with me!" He laughed, ignoring Gamad's sigh and disapproving shake of the head. Some things would never change.
  15. Oh yeah, I did receive that Message from Ashiok. Forgot to clarify that as well. My bad. Also, it's all good Ashiok, no big deal. The rule for editing posts is you're just not allowed to delete out stuff or change the nature or tone of your post with edits, but you're always allowed to just put new stuff at the bottom with an "Edit:". Obviously there are exceptions for double-posting being fine, when you make a huge, long post with one subject matter, but then you have something else to add that is also a lengthy post that's not really related to the first long post, that'd be okay, of course. And stuff like that. I just know these threads get long enough as it is, so anything we can all do to reduce the length! Edit: Huh. Went from an Honorspren to a Cryptic. O.o Nifty.
  16. Well I can confirm not sending that message to Binnut. I messaged Wurum last night. And sent a message to Meta the night before that, and no message Day 1, so anybody getting any messages from "me" or the "Trustwatcher" other than that are lies. Also, one thing real quick about the Reverse Lashing that happened on Wurum. It could very well have been a Squire (aka Mailu), but also, looking at the order of actions in the Cycle, a Reverse Lashing goes through first before a Lynching, so it very well could have been Meta attempting one last trick before he died, since he knew his kill wouldn't have gone through regardless, so I wouldn't put it past him attempting to throw one last wrench in everybody's plans. Just something to consider. I have nothing other than that to add right now. Lemme finish waking up. >.< Oh, and Ashiok, for the sake of keeping clutter in these threads to a minimum, just edit your post to add anything new instead of double-posting, por favor.
  17. The Famed Gamin stopped in his excited stomping of the puddles, muck and puddle-water pouring off of his bright yellow boots, "Did any of you hear that?" He asked everyone standing nearby. "I dunno about you, but the storming wind should stay underneath the bridge where it belongs!"
  18. Of course I can neither confirm nor deny I will be scanning you tonight, as any indication of who I will actually be scanning can not be relied upon publicly. There a quite a few viable targets for me to chose from. Also, from past games and arguments people have made against Trusts/Coalitions, you really shouldn't just wait around for Trusted people to dictate to you what to do. This is still going to be a group effort, and I am going to try my damnedest to prevent "Horde Mentality" in how this game will be moving forward. As Gamut in LG3,, and one of the bystanders in LG4, I know first hand how sour of a taste that can leave in players' mouths to just be told what to do, and I will try and avoid that as much as possible. Your input as an individual is still just as valid as mine, and actually, I will be relying on everything everybody has to say going forward to make my decisions. The less people just sit around waiting for orders, the better, IMO. Also, there is no way you are cleared simply because you were the first to point out the discrepancy in the number of votes and the lack of SoB kills. Also, since Meta was the Skybreaker, you pointing out that missed kill doesn't clear you from being the other Skybreaker at all. Not saying that I suspect you, but if that's your best argument against being a SoB or Henchman, that's not very strong at all. Meta's kill was the only kill missing last Cycle, and that's already been accounted for with the Full Lashing. And just what would Tulir being a housemate with you last game have to do with this game, exactly? As far as this game is concerned, absolutely everything that has happened in this sub-forum so far is completely irrelevant. So I really hope you can come up with a better argument than that before this cycle ends. To everybody else: Now don't take my addressing of Ashiok specifically as any sort of sign of guilt or suspicion. It was just me responding to a few statements in thread. I completely encourage the continued discussion of everything that has happened, and everybody's opinion and input is equally valid right now. I implore all of you to not just sit around and wait for orders to be handed to you. This is a group effort. Also, Jain, what point was bolding those names in your post? The only confirmed Evil players in this specific game are Meta and Jeno, so I don't see why you selected those names specifically at the moment. Oh, and to answer Wurum's accusations earlier (now that you know I'm actually legit and on the villagers side), the reason I voted Serji at first was because of his message to me. It just totally sounded like potential recruitment to me from the SoBs, and even if his argument is legit about him wanting to test me for my response, I was still wary. And the fact that, even though his Codes were an attempt to try and help Villagers out with the Reverse Lashing mechanic this game, I just felt like all of his effort was geared towards those Message Codes, which I had come forward and declared that I felt they were a distraction this game. Why should people spend all of their efforts sneaking around with Messages this game, when most of the foot-work will be done in-thread? I was just wary that he was trying to distract all of us with that. I of course could be very wrong, given Jerric's previous play style, but it was something that I was cautious of, coupled with his message. One interesting thing to note, is Meta in the Squire Doc had basically given his own "all clear" of Serji so far in the game, from Jerric's attempts with the codes and his defense on when being called out Cycle 2. Now the thing to consider with that is, when Meta had decided that there was no use playing any games or not anymore, as he was clearly the top suspect that Cycle. But this was still early on when he said this, so I am not positive if it was a potential distraction from him or not. (The possibilities are that Meta tried easing suspicion off of his team-mate with his "logical" clearing of Serji, or if he wanted to try and be seen defending Serji for when he was eventually lynched so people would look at him next). I, along with the other Squires, and with the help of everyone else in thread -- pouring over what Meta has all said so far -- will need to determine what the actual intentions of those declarations are. Reminder: We will still need everybody's help figuring this out. Disclaimer: I am pretty drunk right now, so I hope that everything above makes sense, and there was something else I wanted to bring up, but forgot it. >.< But I just wait to reiterate, do not feel like your opinion is useless going forward, everybody. This is a group effort. Um.... Trustwatcher (AKA The Master) signing off for now. O.o Edit: I remember now! I meant to say, I hopefully don't need to worry about being Full Lashed now for the rest of the game, as I highly doubt that the Windrunner's would do such a thing to me now, and if I were to be Full Lashed, that would leave only the Squires as possible perpetrators, which would help narrow down the field on who is a Henchman. (Although my paranoid side does tell me that a Henchman could still do such a thing, if they want to draw attention towards themselves and away from any possible SoB). Either way, I just wanted to say something about that.
  19. The Famed Gamin laughed at the attempt on his life. Like he said, it wasn't the first time such a thing had happened. "I told ALL of you!" He yelled, jumping up and down in his yellow boots. "Don't you all know who the storms I am? I'm The Master! You can't hurt me!" "Uh, actually, they can hurt you now...." His spren reminded him, appearing at his feet. "Your secret is out. They won't fall for it a second time." The Famed Gamin frowned. "Well, I still knew Metam was a no good liar the entire day! I at least tried to warn them, and surprisingly they listened. Now if they could just keep my protected from these filthy SoBs....." ----- Knew that one was coming. XD But yeah, I am your Trustwatcher and I had scanned Meta on Night 2, so I knew he was lying the whole day, just needed to try and subtly put proper suspicion on him, probably wouldn't have been possible without Wurum's Full Lash on him, so that definitely helped. If I do die after this cycle, know that Aonar can be trusted! Since there's really no need for codes or anything, anymore..... *sigh* edit: I got the Memo. But since I'm revealed, no need to RP anything in return, Memo Sender.
  20. The Famed Gamin sighed at the crazed man's even crazier declaration. He almost felt sorry for the man. He believed that Metam believed he was in the right of things. What villain didn't? But he was wrong about one thing. Even if the Final Desolation were truly coming, there was still hope. "Because they have ME!" The Famed Gamin exclaimed, jumping up and down in his yellow boots, splashing the muck-water of the puddles he was standing in everywhere. "I am the Master of everything, and I tell you we can survive!" He grabbed a handful of spheres he had relinquished off of the claimed-Skybreaker and inhaled the Stormlight contained within them. "I have been taken as a Squire, as my fellow "squire" was so kind to announce to everybody. So fear not! The Famed Gamin is hard at work to keep evil at bay! I have not fallen for this serpent's tricks! It takes more than that to deceive The Master!" "And you!" The Famed Gamin said, walking up to the Radiant Wurum, standing proud and tall. "Be more careful of who you recruit!" And with that, The Famed Gamin smacked the Windrunner upside the head with one hand, and stole the large pouch of dun spheres with the other. While they were useless now, within the next highstorm, they'd be useful again. Stormfather knew they would still need all the help they could get in hunting down that other SoB. ------------ Well, that confession certainly makes the rest of this cycle easier. There's obviously no point in hiding Squireship anymore. Luckily, we haven't revealed what Lashings we actually have in the Squire Doc, yet, for out of caution against a leak.... (which turned out to be a good idea, apparently) so there's not too much damage done in there. I'll start pouring over what he's all said in there, and what he's posted in-thread, and we should probably take a closer look at those who defended him earlier in the cycle when he still had a hope of possibly surviving the cycle at least. Good job with the Full Lashing last night, Wurum! (Even if you did invite the enemy into your encampment at the same time....)
  21. Hmm. This whole Cycle really has been a pickle, and I've been unsure myself of how to best approach this situation. Either we take Meta's word, and try to wait it out to see the results of him being Scanned, but then we'd have to figure out another route to go for the rest of this cycle, and let's face it, we've been focusing on the Meta thing this whole time. Can we really start getting any solid suspects and a determined vote within these last 5 hours? I hate to do this, because if Meta is indeed a villager, then we're going to lose a Squire with a potentially good lashing. But on the flip side, there are no other solid suspects to follow-up on otherwise. In these games, we should never quite rely on just one person's word, and that's basically what this whole debate hinges on -- What Meta is saying, and I know he's accused me of being too paranoid in past games (and this one as well, via a message the first Cycle), but that's just the nature of the beast. I honestly think we should stop letting ourselves be distracted and just go ahead and go through with the lynch. We know he's not a Windrunner, and unless he's the Trustwatcher, then lynching him won't actually be that horrible of a blow to us villagers. It just comes down to that Full Lashing, for me. I just keep asking myself what are the chances the SoBs would've forsaken their second kill? To me, it just seems unlikely. So I'm going to follow my gut and vote for Meta. Sorry, buddy. :/
  22. I don't think Division has a cool down, and can be used every night. That's why we can expect up to 3 deaths per cycle (two kills, one lynch). So we can either have Meta try and test his claim of becoming a Squire, and have him perform a Lashing that he would have received upson Squireship, but that will mean waiting until the next cycle to do anything, waiting for results. The same speed type of solution would be to ask one of the Squires or WRs to hit Meta with a Full Lashing again, and see if we only get one kill performed again. This won't prove his Squireship (because I doubt any other Squires will want to come forward in-thread yet), but if we're missing another kill then there's probably a good chance he's a SoB. Although of course the SoBs will then be hip to this plan, and just won't make a second kill, so that sadly won't prove anything. Then the third possible solution is to just lynch Meta. :/ Obviously the most direct/final approach to this mystery. If he is indeed a Squire, then this would really suck to lose his power he gained. But then again, if he is a SoB as well, then we'd be 2/2 on lynches. We should obviously have a bit more discussion before we decide to go that route, though, and we should probably hear from a few more people to see what they think.
  23. The Famed Gamin strolled through the trash littered streets, yawning and stretching as he stomped through the puddles left behind from the previous night's random highstorm in his yellow boots. Most people liked to make the joke of him being able to sleep through a highstorm, and he grinned, knowing just how right they were. When you lived on the streets for as long as he had, you picked up those kinds of skills. Rubbing the crusties from his eyes, The Famed Gamin walked into the dim setting of the Eye of the Storm tavern, the savory smell of wonderfully home-cooked food wafting from the kitchen set his stomach rumbling. He frowned and looked down at his empty pockets, cursing the people who didn't have more money for him to steal. I wonder where that soft-hearted serving lady is at? He wondered, putting on his best puppy-dog face. It was a tried and tested look that worked 80% of the time, 100% of the time. It wasn't his fault that the other 20% of people were impervious to cuteness. Whistling a tune and filching a roll from the table of the distracted and injured stormwarden's plate, The Famed Gamin walked over to the hearth to warm himself by the fire. Just what exactly does a precocious scamp like me need to do to get some food around here?
  24. O.o Whew. That was pretty darn good luck. I did think we were about to lynch an innocent because nobody had tried to defend him too much, it seemed like, but I guess it looked like the S(O)Bs just figured it wasn't worth trying to deflect suspicion off of an inactive. Either way, that was a storming good break for us. Also, fantastic write-up, Almighty GM! Another thing to note was that there was only 1 S(O)B kill last night, when there could have been two, potentially. That's all I got for right now.
  25. Heh, well I started typing up something else, game discussion wise, but I wanted to get my "maths" sentence in before you corrected him first. I've been trying to determine the efficacy of a lynch right though now, actually. Because we really only need to lose 3 specific people to lose (The WRs and the TW), so we have to be a lot more careful of mislynches. But then again, we only need to seek out and lynch 2 Skybreakers (Who I am calling SBs, or S(O)Bs) So in that light, lynching is definitely the best option we have. Also, thinking about it, if any of the WRs or TW were in any actual danger from being lynched, I would hope they would just come forward and say so before they do get lynched, because if they're just going to die, we should at least know first and try to prevent it. Since the WRs know who each other are, and there's only one TW, then fake-claiming those roles will be almost impossible for the S(O)Bs to pull off, and if any of those Roles do end up having to reveal themselves, then hopefully there will be enough Squires with Basic Lashing to help out protecting that person from kills each night. With all that said, I unfortunately don't have any actual lynch targets or suspects right at the moment. Need to do the old, reviewing through the thread and see where my gut leads me. :/
