  1. You had his character say "math". Everywhere else they call it "maths" (plural), I guess.
  2. Actually, us sub-forum Mods are working with Wyrm and his stats and are about to try working up some (Semi)-OfficialTM sort of Award System. This will of course take quite a while to work out, but I just want to say, it is a Work-in-Progress!
  3. The Famed Gamin triumphantly strode through the town, carrying a handful of messages he had anonymously received the prior night -- anonymous because even though half of them were signed, he couldn't be exactly sure who sent them. I always knew I was important, he thought with a shrug, but I didn't think I was this important! He saw a man walking in front of him, quietly muttering to himself, and he realized he recognized the person. It was that odd man that liked to sign his name backwards on things. Stealthily sneaking up on him, The Famed Gamin used his worldwide famous skills and pickpocketed the man, stealing yet another pathetic pouch of spheres. He frowned. Was there anybody in this storming town who actually had money? Either way, he realized he had at least enough for a quick, hot meal over at the Eye of The Storm tavern, so he sauntered his way over there, his stomach growling, and his mouth already salivating at the prospect of another full dinner. When you lived out on the streets, you ate what you had to to survive. Shuddering, The Famed Gamin the few months he had spent in the western reaches of Alethela, begging and making ends meet in the mountains over that way. Even he hadn't been as desperate to eat the horns and rocks those weird folk liked to cook and consume. No, Madame Quimset's delectable food was much tastier. He entered the tavern, oblivious to the events that had gone down in there earlier in the day. He noticed the man known as Serji standing around, trying to convince people to use his ingenious code to try and trick the Skybreakers. Unimpressed, The Famed Gamin decided to take his own look around to see what he had missed. "Uh....," he slowly said, trying to grab everybody's attention with his quiet interjection. "...What do those three scratches mean?" -------------------- Heh, needed some way to mention Serji to retract my vote for him. His explanation is adequate enough for right now to take my main focus off of him for now (although I'll still be keeping an eye on you, no offense), but other than that, I don't have any main suspicions right now. Maybe start putting some pressure on the inactives, just to make sure that nobody is trying to hide among them? I know this sub-forum has been having a bit of a staggered attendance lately, and it is about that time of the year where people start having real-life stuff take over forum activity, but since this is a MR game, we should take advantage of the extra-incentive against inactivity. Even if they're not Eliminators, we can start getting rid of people who aren't participating, and thus, not helping out too much. Also, that bit about the three scratches...... does that mean the Stormfather (GM) has some highstorms planned for us? Edit: *The Famed Gamin waves his hand:*These are not the color-changes you are looking for.
  4. Well, first off, I want to come forward and say, I suck at Maths, and hate doing it, so I will probably not be partaking in that whole big fancy, "extra" step that Jerric is proposing. And I honestly want to put a caution out there that I highly doubt we should be spending that much time and effort working on just Messaging this game. Like LG7, I think the Messaging is going to act like the House Docs and just be a distraction for the villagers overall, meaning if most of our attention and effort is spend making these anonymous messages and crazy codes, that leaves way less time to be able to spend in thread, giving actual discussion and analysis of what's all gone down. That's why I didn't even send out any messages myself last night, personally. There's nothing that I had to say to any one specific person yet, and we need to make sure we're actively participating in thread. Also, Jerric, I would prefer if you could just post the code-number, to be safe, and I'll let you figure out something else to send if you want to try contact me again. But I would also like to point out - you confirmed sending that message to me, but could you actually explain why? I just noticed that you confirmed it, but then went on a whole side-step explanation of your over-the-top Messaging number verification system. So I don't necesarrily suspect you, Serji, of being a Skybreaker right now, because that'd be pretty brazen to try reaching out to someone on the First Cycle like that, I will place a vote on you until you give an explanation for the nature of the message. Edit: Redacted vote
  5. Hmm, well I might as well go ahead and say who was signed as the author of that one particular message to me: Serji So I'm not exactly sure what to make of it, because I got an update from Ren saying he forgot to add something in the original message, and it was a (x) Number. Now, this ties into Serji's whole plan of adding those code-numbers to the messages, and unless he planned in a Doc with somebody else beforehand, he's the only one who would have had that idea from the last Cycle. So that does seem to narrow it down to it being actually him that sent that message. What would help is if somebody can come forward saying whether also received a message from Serji last night, then that could help start finding some possible lies or schemes. Or if Serji himself can come forward and tell us what he meant by that message to me, or even at least saying it wasn't him if it indeed wasn't him. Also, I would hope the Trustwatcher maybe takes a look at Serji tonight just in case. (I would also prefer to hopefully be protected by whatever Lash that is that does protect people, because if this was a legit attempt by the Skybreakers to reach out to me, then me coming forward like this obviously completely backfired on them, so they might just want to take me out out of spite or whatever) >.<
  6. Want to try and get some The Famed Gamin RP in, but I got a little bit to go over first. I agree with Aonar that we should definitely be as active in thread as possible to promote discussion and all that (you know, the same old argument that gets made every game ) Nor should we rely solely on Messaging or back-channels to get everything done. With Aonar saying he got 3 Messages last night, that makes me feel a little better coming forward saying I personally received four messages last night, myself. >.< So it will take me even longer to respond to everyone and everything. I do want to warn though, I hope that we don't completely rely on Messaging to get things done in this game. Relaying secret information and the like will definitely help us out, but we really should try and hash out as much as we can in-thread. One thing I will come forward and say though, one of the messages I received is rather interesting. To me that sounds like the Skybreakers reaching out to me, hoping to play along my "for the lulz" behaviour I've exhibited in past games and seeing if I'd be willing to work with them*. I Redacted the name that was given at the end of the message for now, just because I obviously can't be certain if that's who actually sent me the message or not, or if it was some sort of possible set-up. But depending on what gets all posted and said this cycle, I may end up revealing what the given name was, if I think it will actually do any good. Another thing I've been thinking about is the possible number of Eliminators we'll be facing this game. With the number of players, and the different role mechanics, if there's 18 of us and 2 Skybreakers, I would give them maybe up to Two Henchmen. If there were 3 Henchmen, that'd make the Eliminator team almost 1/3 of the players, which is just a bit too much. Even with 4 of them, and almost being a 1/4 of the players might still seem a bit strong, but with The Windrunners able to recruit people, I think 4 looks like a good number to run off of for right now. Of course, Ren could always decide to Troll us, as is the favorite past-time of GMs. (I can attest to this ) One quick thing: As both Aonar and I have revealed we've received quite a few messages each, I recommend nobody send us anything tonight on the off-chance we become the targets of a Reverse Lashing. Of course, nobody should be revealing any sort of sensitive material or anything like that so soon anyway, but just better to be cautious and make sure things get spread out as much as possible without the high possibility of interception. *Me revealing receiving this message may put some heat on me if it was a true attempt from the Skybreakers to see if I was willing to work with them or not. Of course, I don't expect any of you to actually trust my word about it right now, as such is the nature of the game, but I still wanted to come forward and say something about it and let people know, at the very least.
  7. Heh, like I said, can you really blame me in these games for being so cagey? You've shown us all what we're capable of! I was completely honest about the whole bit of "if I see something and that makes me go, 'huh, they must not be Eliminators because they did that', I automatically slightly suspect them of being Eliminators. After all these games, I don't rule anything out anymore. And the fact I've been very outspoken against Chains and Trusts in these last few games, because even though it still basically happens every game (which is a natural result of how these games play out with these roles), I am always wary of the potential of infiltration. And actually, you can ask Wyrm. I've been joking in PMs with him all game about how if I were everyone else, I'd totally have suspected myself of being skaa, as well. Especially once we had the other Mistborn be Scanned. >.< And honestly, that was one of the main reasons I didn't trust The ChainTM. Because the fact there was a second noble Mistborn, I just couldn't wrap my head around that. Also, the fact that it was all doc-based, the only experience I've had with Docs so far was when I was the Eliminator (Spiked in LG2, Sharder in MR1) so I think I just kicked into that sort of mentality during the game. I did try using that, to try and "think like a skaa", but it failed pretty hardcore. XD I will say, with the level of inactivity in the game overall, especially with the hand the skaa were dealt and the overall inactivityfrom a lot of people overall, the Skaa did do quite a great job of lying low, for the most part. The Information aspect of the game was quite interesting, and it was pretty awesome how it led us to a Day 2 skaa lynch, I was very skeptical of it for the most part, and was sincere in my arguments against us relying on that and the genie (and I apparently will eat my words, as the Genie helped lead us to victory. Great job, Hadrian). And about my House Power(s), I definitely stand my reluctance to share that information! Metal Poisoning would have been devastating in the hands of the skaa, I think. Them poisoning Iron would have wrecked havoc for a cycle. Or Pewter, just for the lulz. The Loyal Terrisman power (which I did keep a secret, for the most part, even if people probably did begin to suspect it once I revealed I was actually going to the Informant, myself) was a good help though, as I realized I could actually trust those results. Like I said, I wish I had figured that out on Night 1, as that would have been the best for catching any lies, but still worked out pretty good. And my RP with Gamad worked out perfectly with that house power. XD Gamad didn't have to be happy and agree with Fien's action, but rust-it, he was the most Loyal Terrisman I ever had! Edit: Thanks for the idea for my next character!
  8. Haha, actually, Aonar, Kas was supposed to protect Meta this last Night Turn, but he instead decided to Lurch you instead, just on the off chance you were randomly attacked, he wanted to make sure you survived an actual game. Oh, and also, I did tell the chain this, but I also had the Metal Poisoning House power along with the Loyal Terrisman. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the Terrisman power gave actual Truths from the informant until Night 2, otherwise I totally would have used that the first night, as that was when it was most effective against the skaa. I did coinshot Nath (Theorymaker) on Night 1 on just a dice roll, basically (and also because taking a shot at someone had much better odds of trying to Lurch a random Night 1) (sorry about that >.<) and used Steel Poisoning that night, just so if I did lose my power it couldn't be used against the nobles later on. Also, at one point, if you guys read the Docs that are now up, it was around Day 3 or so where I went on a rampage in my doc accusing my own house members of being skaa. It was pretty brutal, and I think almost shut down any teamwork me, Ren, and Kas had going forward. And of course we all joked the entire time on what if Newan was actually our skaa. XD You're a funny guy, Wyrm. Real funny, funny guy. Edit: Wow. 127k words, huh? And that's with quite a few cuts and edits (and not to mention the behind the back talks that went on and were deleted before other people hopped on ) Does that mean House Urbain wins the Talking Heads Award?
  9. We did try a good bit of organizing, and Kas really did a fantastic job of keeping everything pretty neat. Most of it was just game discussion, and we did always try to keep as much out-of-game talk limited, but you know how chatty we three can be. XD But yeah. Wyrm highly regretted me, Ren, and Kas all in one doc.
  10. Fien was glad to have finally put the whole charade behind him. Who could honestly think that I was that big of a fool? Night after night he went out of his way to make himself a spectacle, to be laughed at as a simpleton. But any Mistborn knew that when burning pewter, you couldn't get drunk. He knew the only way to get through this ordeal was to make himself as small of a target as possible, and who would have ever suspected the bumbling Lord Urbain to have such hidden powers? "I thank you again, for your help," Fien said to Gamad who had walked up next to him, still with a frown on his face - as always. "I still want to let you know I disagreed with the whole act. If you hadn't played such a fool, maybe both of your House Members would still be alive." Gamad's statement hit too close to home for Fien, because he knew it to be true. "I did what I thought I had to. You of all people should understand that, Keeper. But I still want to thank you for being so Loyal." Gamad bowed. "Gladly, sir. I just wished we could have pulled this off without as much nonsense," He said, waving a hand at all the frivolous attractions around him. "Although I am glad it's finally over." Fien smiled and took a large gulp of wine, savoring it's taste and it's effects as he was finally able to consume alcohol without burning pewter to keep his wits sharp. "You're just glad because we get to finally spar again, now that I'm no longer playing the foppish fool." It was Gamad's turn to smile. "I would like that very much." ---------------- Whew! Great game, everybody! This one sure was difficult for a while there in the middle. Of course Fien was just acting the whole time! It is a shame that Kas had to die right before the victory, but we knew that with his injury it would have been useless to Lurch him. :/ Your House Lord shall never forget! And of course, a big thanks to our GM for running such a great game! Even with mistakes and mess-ups, it still ran pretty good, I think. A big round of applause for The Wyrm, His Honour!
  11. O.o Wow, that is pretty amazing! Great work! And the fact is was a whole official type thing where you had to sign something and all that is even crazier! Garruk has probably always been one of my favorite Planeswalkers, and I've been loving his story and slow descent into darkness and corruption. oh, and yeah, MtG is HUGE! This card game ain't going anywhere for quite a while. Edit: Went through the videos, pretty funny stuff. 'Put some flame on it!' for the win!
  12. The Famed Gamin sat at his seat, idly playing with the sphere in his hand, practicing his palming and sleight of hand techniques. A life on the streets taught you to always keep those kinds of skills sharp. Of course he had recognized the man Nale when he had seen him at the sentencing. Who could forget the face of a storming Herald? "Did I ever tell you guys about the time I ran into Ash, as well? Ever since I made fun of her nose, she's been running around, slashing and defacing all pictures of herself ever since! You'd think these Heralds had no sense of humour!" Famed Gamin looked around, seeing if anybody was actually listening to him or not, and realized they were all still distracted from the recent announcements, and were just sitting in silence and staring forward listlessly. I wonder what in the crem got into them, he huffed. Even if it is the storming Desolation, as that deranged madman keeps proclaiming, why can't people liven up? I've survived multiple Desolations, personally. I don't see what the big deal is.
  13. Well that confession makes things pretty clear cut, huh? Of course I still am wary of a fifth player, but it does look/sound like it might have just been the four of them. I agree with Kas that we should probably take out Mailu tonight, if possible. Ash powered by IW would definitely do the trick. But yeah, just waiting for the lynch to get rid of them will just be a waste of time, and if there is indeed a fifth skaa, we'll know once the game doesn't end, then we can actually use the Day Turn to try and find them. And, bah!, I wanted to wait until my Ball (which I hope still happens, even if the game ends with Mailu's possible death tonight!) to reveal my Mistborn-ness, full of awesome RP and insults galore, but the kandra is already out of the bag. I do in fact have Iron/Steel tonight. So that was the debate I'm having for tonight. IF we can count of IW being used, then Ash can get powered-up and take out Mailu all by himself. If not, I'll have to double-team him with him to make sure it goes through. But that depends on the IW being used or not, because I don't want to make a redundant hit against the skaa when I could better be protecting their last target, hopefully. (If Gamut has anything to say about it, which, he hasn't been much help this game when trying to help Kas make his Lurch decisions) The thing is, I'm still worried about that fifth potential skaa (especially with the skaa telling us that Mailu is the last one....since when do we start believing whatever Eliminators say?). Because with Kal being cleared, that means we have two Mistborn for the Nobles, which just seems quite a bit OP. And then if you consider the skaa have only had a Tineye, a Soother, a Coinshot, and then whatever Mailu is (Kas said somewhere he saw he claimed Rioter, and we had him guessed as a Seeker, which him being a Seeker makes more sense), that does make their team seem a bit lackluster in comparison. But I could see them being the team of 4, because the Skaa with a coinshot this game is pretty strong, as they would've been able to take out anybody with 1 hit when coordinated, besides a 50-50 chance of Lurched Mistborns dying or not. Oh, and in response to Meta's comment of me being paranoid as all mists, haha, of course I am! What do you expect, in these games? The metagame (heh) of these games has completely shifted and evolved, and now I just always caution myself against all possibilities. Whenever something happens that makes me doubt somebody is an Eliminator, I automatically keep suspicion on them. Because that's the best way for a skaa to hide, is getting away with stuff that we "know" they would never try or do. The name of the game is Deception, and we can not eliminate the idea of the Eliminators doing whatever it takes to gain trust. Doesn't mean any of that long-con deception was actually happening in this game or not, but I will always weigh the possibilities.
  14. The Famed Gamin sat in one of the booths of the inn, looking around the room in between spoonfuls of steaming hot soup. It was a nice quaint place, he reckoned. He had snuck his way into a fair share of different taverns and inns, from all sorts of big fancy howda-ya-dos, to small, dingy, chulldung-hole in the walls. It didn't matter how clean and fluffed up the place was. Not at all. The Famed Gamin knew what the secret of a good inn was. It all lie in the innkeeper's smile. He had been smacked and chased out of countless places, but he could count just as many places where he had been bid welcome by a friendly smile of the innkeep. Nothing beat a free hot bath and even hotter soup. Although the two often as not didn't work well at together at the same time. He still didn't know what to make of this lady innkeeper, though. Sure, she had a nice enough smile. And her tavern maids sure were nice on the eyes as well, he reckoned. He lived on the streets. He had learned a thing or two. It was irrelevant if he knew what he knew actually meant or not. He was streets-smart wise. He had learned glyphs all on his very own, he was proud to claim. He knew which ones meant "We buy stolen goods" when they were scratched in above pawn shop's doorframes. He could read that one in almost a dozen languages. But his streets-smarts told him not to trust the twinkle behind the innkeeper's eyes. There was more to her than meets the eye, he knew. He finished slurping down the rest of the soup and tore off a heel of bread to rub around to soak up the last of the juices before taking a triumphant bite. Feeling clean and with a fool stomach, he reckoned his job at this inn was done for the day. Although maybe he would sneak in somewhere in the night and make camp for the night, if he could manage it. He idly looked around and saw some man sitting near the hearth toss a crumbled note into the fire, the letter blazing up with flames immediately. Interesting. I'll have to introduce myself to him later, I reckon. Mysterious people like that are always looking for information. And who better than to let them know what's happening than The Amazing Famed Gamin?
  15. When I was informed of Meta's offer to the skaa, I was skeptical myself, and voiced my disagreement with the plan. If we have another possible skaa in our sights, then we should go after them and try and end the game as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure we all decided long ago House politics are useless to us in this game, and while I may understand the want to "make them pay" for what could be a betrayal, it just defeats the purpose of going for the win. Who care if they'll be "tied" with the other Houses for the draw at the end of the second win-con for the houses with 2 players left. And as Cat pointed out above, making an offer with the skaa to get revenge on somebody for making a deal with the skaa kind of loses it's purpose, don't you think? What I'm worried about is that there isn't one last skaa left. Considering Asyr explicitly stated there was one left in his farewell post makes me wary of disinformation. And the fact that there were 4 alleged hits yesterday. That means that somebody lied about being hit, or a Mistborn took a shot at someone with steel as well. We still can't know the complete truth right now, but it definitely narrows down some possibilities. Either way, Mailu should definitely be checked out tonight to check his claim of being hit last night. Also, Meta can attest to this, (since Kas has been in contact with him, we've been communicating through him, The Messenger), but I have been long wary of the Chain and a leak. I would hope that all the people in it have been checked by Genie by now, because it does seem we should be able to trust him, turning in two skaa like that. Especially a coinshot. If it's a long-con tactic, that was extremely hurtful to them, and I really don't see the point of it, number wise. Nor could I see the players being given up being on board with it either. (Unless their inactivity was tried to be used against them, in Newan's case and semi-Asyr's case.) And I'd like to address the Kal accusation and defense. Of course it doesn't immediately mean that Kal had to have betrayed the Chain, and him and Jae are possibly working with the skaa, but there is always the chance. Unfortunately, Kal, we can't really take your teammates word who's in the Doc with you on what's been happening in there, ya ken? We either check out Mailu or Kal tonight I guess, see what happens, but also keep an eye out for anyone else who might be slipping through the cracks. I'm still wary of that fifth player, though. Still no leads though, and I hope we can lynch Mailu for the win next Cycle. I really hope we don't get side-tracked making deals with the skaa or anything like that, though. :/ Should we ask for an extension, since there's actually some discussion going on, and hopefully we can actually get to something going into the Day Turn and not just an automatic bandwagon of votes. Edit: I don;t think we should really have any coinshot targets tonight. we're just only going to be helping the skaa, and they might just be able to piggy-back off the coinshot if the target is public, and take out anyone who can maybe survive a hit.
  16. Fien finished chewing the mouthful of pastry he had been eating when Lord Heron re-entered the ballroom, slightly bloody and holding his injured arm, letting everyone know the traitor Asyr had been dealt with accordingly. "Well that's another one down," Fien toasted, raising his glass of wine up in the air in celebration. The glass was only half-full so the sudden gesture only sent a little bit of the wine sloshing over the top of the rim, but it was still enough to let everyone know Fien was already well-and-plastered. "I feel like I'm forgetting something important," he stated, frowning. "Gamad, what am I forgetting?" "The gifts from Lady Cett?" The Terrisman proposed. "No, I said important. Hm." Fien fell silent and pondered for a moment before shrugging. "Oh well. Must not matter much, then. Come on, let's go. I have big plans to start preparing." He walked forward a few steps before he noticed Gamad wasn't following along with him, and was instead standing there and frowning after him. "Uh, what plans, sir?" He asked. "Why my House Ball, of course!" "Um.... sir? That honor was handed to Lord Erikell....." Gamad replied dryly, trailing off. "Huh? Well, he's in my house, right?" Gamad nodded. "Then it's decided. I'm commandeering the burden of host from him. Poor guy should be resting and taking it easy anyways. Make sure to send him another care package. He didn't seem to enjoy the last one as much." Although I do wonder why Kassel had chosen orange bandages, of all colours? I'm not that much of a stickler for the House Colours. Gamad bowed. "Yes sir." "Good, now that that's settled, let's go. We have much to do." Fien downed his glass of wine and tossed it over his shoulder, yelling and waving his thanks back to Ashette for having him, and as he exited the front doors of the keep he looked up into the sky at the weird message that was scrawled there in the shadow of the limelight lamp he had sent as a prank the other night. Lord Ruler, just what was I thinking?
  17. The Famed Gamin paused in the streets as he rounded the corner, taking a second to look back behind him to see the random man's reaction to being pick-pocketed. To his dismay the man just absentmindedly patted himself down and shrugged off the missing pouch of spheres. Guess he's not actually missing that much, Famed Gamin thought, hefting the light purse, feeling only a few, small spheres rolling around in the pouch. They're probably duns too. Although he did wonder how long it would take the man to realize that he had replaced the pouch with a sack fulled with chull dung. He shrugged and moved his way down the littered alleyway, avoiding the piles of trash and debris that had built up from the various highstorms that frequently rolled through the area. He didn't know what he was doing so far east, near where the storms hit their hardest, knowing that living on the streets was rather difficult when the roads were flooded, and those without proper shelter were buffeted by strong, frigid winds. Finding a place to hide out from the stormwall was key to survival. The Famed Gamin knew he better make some sort of nest soon. What about the inn? He asked himself, eying the Eye of the Storm tavern, wondering if there was some sort of Cellar he could sneak into over the nights. He looked at the Madame who was standing at the stoop, trying her best to look warm and inviting to the influx of visitors that had been pouring into the town the last few days. I wonder if she's nice? The Famed Gamin was distracted by his thoughts as he heard some shouting nearby, as some crazed man was kneeling on the ground and shouting up to the sky, praising the Stormfather and warning all who would listen about the impending Desolation. There's always one in every city....he thought, stepping warily away from the doomsayer. I'll just do my best to avoid him.
  18. Well I was hoping we could get a little bit more out of Asyr's team mates than, "gee, hate to vote for my own house lord," and a vote. What has Asyr been saying in the Doc? What ideas or plans has he tried planting? Who has he mentioned in schemes, and what knowledge has he shared? Has he deflected suspicions away from anyone, tried clearing anybody with logic, etc? Day 6 should be more than long enough to have hopefully something to go off of. Raccine died Day 2, and we tried milking that for as many clues as possible, and with Newan's death, we hit a brickwall because of his inactivity, so we weren't able to work from there. But I assume Asyr had had to have been somewhat present in his own House Doc. Yes? Edit: I'll also assume that Asyr's lurking silence is a good sign of his guilt.
  19. Hm, well I guess that settles it then. :/ Looks like we have to go ahead and lynch Asyr, if just to test the claim if anything else. But that does make sense, with my "theory of three" I had going on. Of course that means that not all sets of '3-roles' will probably have a skaa, but 3 noble coinshots did seem just a bit off to me. I wish maybe that the info of Asyr being declared a skaa officially didn't happen until more voting and discussion was tossed around, though. Because now everyone has no choice but to pretty much vote for Asyr, so we can't wait and see who would have tried defending him once suspicion started piling on him. But if this lynch does go through with Asyr being a skaa, then that'd be great for us, having 3 down so far. But let's also make sure that we don't just all pop in to place our votes this thread, we should still get some sort of discussion going. Maybe start going back and looking at what Asyr has said and/or defended. If his housemates could speak up and come forward about anything he might have said in the Doc would be helpful (just like any suspicions he had placed on people, whoever he tried deflecting accusations away from, stuff like that, etc.) What about any Information he has reported? We might hopefully be able to try and pinpoint any lies or truths he has planted and start working our way from there to find the last one or two skaa. (All this pending on him coming back as a skaa in the lynch, of course, but doesn't mean we should just wait around for the results)
  20. I figured it out. shshshsh was a Herdazian. So that'd make her Lopen's Cousin, thus making true his declaration that he is royalty. Boom.
  21. So you were ordered to do so? If someone can back the story up, that'll help. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, with what's been going on lately. I do wish more people had spoken up so far and discussed an actual plan or at least discuss the idea of dumping and comparing Information in-thread, so all of us Houses can work together. I had thought that was the plan most people had agreed to in the beginning, and while you can all say of course it's easier for me to advocate this now that my house has lost 2 members, but it's still true. We are far along enough in the game where people have gathered enough Information where we can start comparing any lies or truths. Of course keeping some people's roles who aren't publically known yet would be a good idea, if that would make them a huge target. But maybe if enough info gets dumped, there will be too many targets for the skaa to optimally make a choice out of. But of course that's a risky plan, so that's why I want to suggest we actually discuss this before it happens. Of course a recap of Info that's been gathered or declared in-thread and about past players what they claimed or we learned from that, should of course be still openly discussed. There's a puzzle there, we just need to connect all the dots.
  22. "Wassing of the having of wrongness?" The Famed Gamin asked the weird man trying to question, doubt, and correct him. How storming rude of him, he huffed. "You must not know who I am," Famed Gamin tried to patiently explain, "so I'll let it slide this time." "I am The Famed Gamin!" He shouted triumphantly, raising his arms and jumping up and splashing in the puddles with his bright yellow boots. "I have been around for longer than you count, and I have traveled lands you'll never even hear of! I've gone to and fro and back again, whilst being awesome the entire time, wayyy before other people thought it was cool. I have begged and scraped by in every city and have made even the sternest, cold-hearted widows swoon at my patented craft of appearing cute and helpless. I have witnessed the killing of kings and the harrowing rescues of princesses. I'm the most gosh darn loveable, precocious scamp you will ever meet!" The Famed Gamin ran up to a random stranger who was lurking nearby and touched them with a finger. "Tag, you're it!" He exclaimed and ran away humming to himself. After he rounded the corner and pulled out the purse he had filched from the person. Only a few storming spheres? He thought indignantly. What a bummer. ------------- Ha! Even The Famed Gamin can worm his way out of being anachronistic! Also, extra incentive for whoever signs up next, you get to enter into an automatic RP back and forth with your character and The Famed Gamin! How will you react to me pickpocketing you?
  23. So, please don't kill me fellow fantasy fans..... but I just started my "tryhard" readthrough of The Fellowship of the Rings! Yes, I have never before read the LotR until now! O.o I have read the Hobbit, and tried the Fellowship once before, but those dang hobbit intro chapters! They're drier than toast and Aiel humour! BUT. Alas, I have made it out of the Shire and ran into Tom Bombadill. And holy-flipping storms is this guy amazing! Where the heck was this guy in the movie?? O.o Why have I not heard of this spectacular yellow-boot wearing boss of a character before?
  24. Fien stayed a little bit after the party, taking advantage of Lord Kaldin's macabre stash of wine, trying to drown himself in alcohol after the utter failure the other nobles had caused while he was distracted. Rusting card games, he sullenly thought. Apparently the accusations had ended with it becoming a power grab for House Contracts that the Lords would benefit from. And a pity, I thought we weren't playing along House Lines? Although he supposed it would have been worth him throwing his hat in the ring if it would have helped out his own dying house, and to prevent the skaa from getting ahold of or destroying the Contracts, somehow. He took another large swig of his wine before taking a look around the emptying room to see who was left to insult. "Where's the breeder at? The one that sells donkeys, or horses, or whatever it is." He absentmindedly asked, not quite remembering on what Mesist sold and what he was acting like. He was distracted as he heard a pssht sound from off to his right and he looked over to see the young Erikell lad peeking his head around a corner, trying to get his attention. "Uh, er, sir? Can we have a quick...house meeting over here real quick?" --------------------- Gamad watched from across the ballroom as the fool Fien continued to embarrass himself and was starting to make Gamad wonder whether the young urbain was the donkey peddler, after all. He noticed Kassel Erikell, the last living connection that House Urbain had left in Luthadel, try and very conspicuously call Fien over, no doubt for some less than subtle house-planning session. Gamad went to tap his tindmind to try and eavesdrop on the pair when he heard an angry shout come from out in the hall they were standing. Startled, Gamad went to tap some speed he had replenished when he saw Fien dragging a kicking and protesting Kas into the ballroom in front of everybody. Oh Lord Ruler.....no, was all Gamad could think. "I do not care what you had worn before!" Fien shouted, swearing up and down, gesturing wildly with his pointer finger at Kas accusingly. "The House Colours are Orange and Purple! And you will wear the appropriate colours now that you're my last living Heir!" The poor Erikell Lord had been dressed in some horrendously mis-matched shirt, with alternating stripes of the garish orange and clashing purple, the alleged House Colours of House Urbain. Gamad almost regretted this prank, but couldn't stifle his smirk and chuckle. Mists preserve us, he thought, laughing to himself. And save us all from the horror that is Fien's taste.
  25. Well that was an epic failure. Honestly, if I had gotten on in time and thought the vote was in danger, I probably would have tried to secure the vote against Jain, though Just to ensure no emotional shenanigans. Which still seemed to happen, regardless. I really don't know why he lied about the Kandra at all, though. Which I would hope Jae would like to explain his actions. (Or the Mistborn) on why he Rioted me without even responding to my accusation on him. Unless we're just wrong about his role, because, let's face it, we were wrong about Jain. (which I suppose is understandable now why he lied, but he was still not being very helpful, it seemed like). But the fact he Jain was a seeker is very interesting, as that really fudges the votes on Day 1. I'm honestly trying to look at everything and it's really just driving my head in circles. I'm almost this close to dumping all of the Informant gathered Information in my Doc and what we've (inconsistently) gathered from the thread or other sources. It might be everyone's best option at this point if we can start sharing everything we've collectively worked out and just doing it all in thread, since we are all still on the same page on not working for House wins, right? I believe these last two or three skaa will be the hardest by far to root out and find, as they'll have been the most clever. We need to stop getting distracted and just work together on this for once. The Docs have just been a distraction for us the entire game, I am starting to think. (Blue for emphasis/attention )
