Kaladin’s SylBlade and SylSpear Abilities
Deception replied to KaladinTheKingOfHeralds's topic in Stormlight Archive
Interesting... You mean that maybe Syl could stick to things as a weapon? That would be cool. What if Syl became a chain and stuck herself to whatever she hit, allowing Kaladin to pull them inward? -
Lol I had to post this.

And the right one is... NO
-
Let's all just pretend he meant the 17th thing was an arm

In a full-out war? Whoever strikes first. If Scadrial struck first, they could just Harmonium-Trellium bomb everything and Roshar would stand no chance. If Roshar struck first, they could send a Bondsmith Unbound and a bunch of Lightweavers over and infiltrate all of Scardian society without anyone even noticing at all. Once they steal the bands of mourning, it's over. Alternately, they could probably just storm a city with radiants and nobody would be able to do anything about it, assuming a Bondsmith is present to resupply Stormlight. This doesn't even mention the power of the Heralds, especially Kaladin.

Welcome to the ultimate cosmere would you rather! -- THIS TAKES PLACE AT THE BEGINNING OF WIND AND TRUTH (BEFORE RETRIBUTION AND THE NIGHT OF SORROWS)

Kaladin definitely is best. I have read both Mistborn eras and Stormlight Archive.

Just throw a bunch of super fine metal dust with sticky stuff on it into the air. You might want to wear a mask and goggles for safety reasons. Anyway, now aluminum bullets would just get covered in the metal stuff and then you could push them - YAY! Would this actually work??
-
Lurchers can still fly if they have anchors above them (this is really only useful in a city or something) Also, here are a few ideas I have for cool things they could do: 1. A Lurcher could open Allomantic locks (these exist in era 2) 2. A Lurcher could probably "slingshot" thrown or Pushed objects back at the enemy by pulling so it orbits in a circle around them and then releasing so it flies back to where it came from 3. A Lurcher could don armor iron-man style, pulling it onto their bodies 4. A Lurcher could just cause general mayhem and collateral damage by pulling on random metal stuff

How does vision Hoid know he is in a vision? Every time that he is in one of Dalinar's SR visions, the vision version of him suddenly realizes he isn't real and gets all depressed. HOW?

Syl has said some slightly dirty things to Kaladin a few times, and Maya has to Adolin, but that doesn't usually mean anything.

What spren do you wish existed IRL?
Deception replied to pureintonation's topic in Stormlight Archive
Shamespren would be funny. Gloryspren would be really cool. If this is allowed, I would most want Honorspren to bond though. -
Crackpot theory: Vasher is the Big Bad of the Voidlight Archive

Wait ...what???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? -
If you could play a part in a Stormlight Movie
Deception replied to Vielence's topic in Stormlight Archive
I would have a lot of fun saying Hoid's lines but only when he is Wit. After that he gets kinda boring. Also voice acting for the Stormfather would be fun. "THESE WORDS ARE ACCEPTED." -
Gravitation quite literally lets you fly.

...why? Step 1: Print out this entire website Step 2: Bribe the ghostbloods to your side with the knowledge contained on this website Step 3: Use their transportation methods to get the cats to Roshar (bring cat food bags) Step 4: Steal some soulcasters to soulcast cat food, and bribe an Elsecaller and Bondsmith with Ghostblood money to bring your cats to all of the other planets through Elsegates. If the Bondsmith cannot be bribed, you can give the Elsecaller some Lerasium and they can use Duraluminum to supercharge an Elsegate. If the Elsecaller cannot be bribed, mind control them by stabbing them up with Hemalurgic spikes and then using emotional Allomancy. Step 5: Find a way to transfer the oath made by the Heralds at the end of the first Stormlight Archive arc to protect cats instead of protecting spren. Sure, Retribution will kill all of the Rosharian spren instantly but hey, at least now the cats are safe! -- if you cannot convince the Heralds to do this just make a bunch of Lerasium create some Mistborn and give them some Atium, then let them stab the Heralds full of spikes until they can be controlled. It may even be possible to control them with Duraluminum and emotional Allomancy anyway because of the damage to their souls. You have now introduced cats everywhere in the cosmere, and have done it so quickly that no other groups can stop you until it is too late. The cats are also protected from Shards because why not.

It's Been Cultivation All Along, a theory
Deception replied to Gelatinous Hypercube's topic in Cosmere Discussion
But remember that Odium, if successful, would probably halt war and growth as a whole. This is not what Cultivation wants, so either she messed up, or she has some kind of genius plan to make sure that Odium doesn't end up ruling the cosmere. -
I said no duraluminum because in this situation Vin has unlimeted metals and combining that with duraluminum would not exactly go well for Kaladin
-
Who would the most insanely overpowered possible normal mortal be (without Shard intervention)? Try to beat mine: - Originated on Scadrial as a Mistborn and full Feruchemist - Traveled to Roshar through the cognitive realm and obtained all of the Honorblades - Bonded the Stormfather and became a Bondsmith of the highest ideal - Has possession of Nightblood - Knows about Anti-Light and knows how to make it and how to create Anti-Light knives and swords
-
Who would win in a fight, assuming that Vin has access to unlimited metals (Including Atium but no Lerasium or Duraluminum) and the fight takes place in an area with renewing Stormlight such as the Spiritual Realm, near a perpendicularity, or in a Highstorm?

What would happen if a Surgebinder + Mistborn burned Duraliminum?
Deception posted a question in Cosmere Q&A
What would happen if a Radiant or other Surgebinder ate a nugget of Lerasium and gained the ability to burn Duraluminum, then burned it as they used a Surge? Also, insane idea here - Surgebinders have infinite or at least huge amounts of constantly replenishing Stormlight while within the Highstorm or near Honor's Perpendicularity. What happens if a Surgebinder burns Duraluminum and uses a surge while constantly getting their Stormlight replenished, so they cannot run out? Theoretically, could they for example make a mile-wide crater by using Division + Duraluminum in a Highstorm, or Lash the whole planet with lashings, or something else insane? -
Why was Lopen's arm healed but Kaladin's tattoo was not removed
Deception replied to FlameOutsideOfStaf's question in Cosmere Q&A
Yes! How was Lopen's self-image not affected by the jokes? -
What the what is Nightblood? A self aware sword that destroys souls, connections, objects, and Investiture alike? How? It acts like anti light in a way, but is powered by normal light ...what? And what is that business about it feeding off souls when it has no Stormlight - how does it do that? Also, who created Nightblood??? Was it a shard? Dawnshard? Super strong spren? Adonalsium himself? SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY???
