  1. Could be - but I got RAFO'd by Brandon about it. Also, to pick a bag of rings as your religious symbol?
  2. But it's an interlude.
  3. Ym knows something. Adolnasium split to experience emotions, according to him.
  4. Ah, Harmony's symbol is ten interlocking rings. .... I have no idea why, though.
  5. Nicroburst? Odd ... I'm kind of a loner. Also I guess I'm the first Nicroburst. [Celebrates by saying the word "Hmmmm"]
  6. The very fact that Duralumin has a different Allomatic effect means it is an entirely separate metal. Aluminum spikes ... Unlikely. The aluminum needs to be surrounding the head to block Pushing / Pulling on emotions. Heh. Aluminum-headed Koloss
  7. So by your argument, Ialai name isn't phonetically symmetrical, either. A simpler explanation might be that different Devotaries have different rules. Also, Shallash is actually syntactically symmetrical using the Rosharian alphabet.
  8. Complete Series: 1.LotR 2.Foundation 3.Inheritance 4.Sword of Shannara - original only! 5. His Dark Materials
  9. Good movie adaptations don't exist. Period. (Except "The Princess Bride") (I'm going to get so much hate right now.)
  10. Read Way of Kings Prime. There's a character there that does it
  11. I use to overuse Wheel of Time when I spent a year reading that series, but mostly I currently use "Zod" as a curse. And "drajl" when i get really worked up (mostly dealing with Delta Airlines)
  12. Welcome aboard. "Kairos" is from Madeleine L'Engele, isn't it?
  13. I love Marvel and all, but Nightblood kills souls. Even the legendary "merc with a mouth" can't walk that kind of wound off. Why not pick someone like Dark Phoenix, or Magneto? Or a telepath like Professor X?
  14. I'm an old Command and Conquer adict (see my avatar? That's Kane, the main antagonist). And then Tiberium Twilight came out. Tiberium Wars (Kane's Wrath expansion) is still my all time favorite RTS, though. (with Age of Empires a close second.)
  15. Pandemic is a very good co-op game of players vs the board. My friends and I are pretty good, and we have about a 60% win rate on regular.
  16. I don't think any magic system we know of can do anything to a black hole. Gravity manipulation, yes. A black hole is a little over the top.
  17. There is a possibility that Odium possessed him. However Moash is consumed with rage at his grandparents death. In addition, Graves is certainly not helping. The fact that he's technically a lighteyes is probrably driving him phsycotic.
  18. Savants aren't humans. They undergo a physical change to become a savant. That being said, the principle diffrence is that they have much better burning abilities. Also, they are partially addicted to their particular metal.
  19. Gandalf and Kelsier both die, and come back. Gandalf as "Gandalf the White", and Kelsier briefly possess Preservation to contact Spook
  20. Aeromancer is back from the dead. That would be awesome.
  21. Yes, I know this should be in General Theories. But not really, as this is solely on the Nightwatcher. Nightwatcher; mysterious sprenlike creature wields an enourmous amount of power. But is that really the case? Why do her blessings always have a curse, then? Odium is the malicious one. The answer is simple: She use a end-neutral magic system, similar to Feruchemy (assuming you read Mistborn). Mr. T: He mentions his compassion and intellect are inversely linked! The more intellect. the less compassion, the less compassion, the more intellect! The fluxuations? Merely attempting to strike a balnce. He overuses his intellect, the next day he's more compassioniate, and vice versa. This is only a crude way to achieve balance, so it kind of works. Dalinar: He constantly forgets about his wife to constantly keep his blood weakness in check. Dalinar also has epilepsy! See that? Three amazing theories! One might even be true!
  22. I asked Brandon about this actually [read complained to Brandon]. I asked him about Renarin's character if his sickness [read epilepsy] disappeared. I greatly enjoyed one of the main character having a debilitatiing injury. (No, I am not a psychopath. Good guess, though) He responded that Renarin sickness wouldn't entirely go away. Hence, even as a Truthwatcher, the need for glasses exist. Also, glasses help you see. They alter your vision to enable you to see better. If anything, Lightweavers should have them.
  23. No way, no how. Hate to be a killjoy, but Shashara possessing worldhopping powers? Aside form that, it wouldn't fit Sanderson's style to combine major characters like that. (but they aren't major characters)(Yes they are - they are symbolically important.)
  24. Impossible. I've asked Brandon a similar question and Feruchemy can only be used to extend attributes(i.e. weight, speed) but can't pass impossibilities (i.e. speed of light, negative mass, etc.). The answers got to lie in cadmium/bendalloy. I feel the biggest clue is the "rather expensive nothing" mentioned by Maris in Alloy of Law. But that's just me, mendling FTL theorist.
