  1. 9/10mmHB#2 dives into the water, and tumbles out into thin air. He lands flat on his back in front of Alli, and immediately picks up his sword. Albeit a little stunned from the fall, he wants to prove to Malevolence that he is a worthy ally.
  2. Enjoy! 9/1mmHB#2 thinks this is a great idea if it hadn’t lost its sword trying to stay afloat. It isn’t sure how it hasn’t drowned yet, but had decided it hates water thoroughly.
  3. The water engulfs 9/10mmHB#2. As an entity tha lived on a web forum all its life, it is not a good swimmer.
  4. XD that’s amazing didn’t even realize Yup, that’s the intent. 9/10mmHB#2 is so “not touched grassed” for a lack of a better way to put it that he thinks this is possible when it’s just not.
  5. In that case, it’s possible for Alli to neutralize 9/10mmHB#2, if she feels like it. Not like he’s doing anything anyways. His sword is literally named futility because using it as a weapon is futile
  6. As Ribbon’s waves approach Malevolence, 9/10mmHB#2 rushes forward, swinging Futility not at the water, but at the idea that Ribbon can manipulate the water. It’s an infinitely sharp sword, and he’s going to get wet either way. so theoretically, Alli is a healer? Right? Does tha just mean physically? 9/10 is NOT a threat in any way to anyone except maybe the bystanders. He just thinks he is.
  7. 9/10mmHB#2 is suddenly in over his head. Forces far stronger than him are about to clash. He decides to side himself with Malevolence, and maybe having a body is making him more impulsive but he wants to stab something. Instead, he closes his eyes, and tries to cut the idea of water in half.
  8. 9/10mmHB#2 stumbles backwards, then steadies himself and approaches Malevolence. “Looks like I’ve got my body. I’ll assume you don’t need my help, unless you do.”
  9. The pen is the real “weapon”. When drawing something that actually exists, it temporarily steals the soul of that object and replaces the drawing with it. Then the drawing peels off the notebook for the artist to command. It can’t copy anything massive or anything like a Plotblade, though Plagiarism will be able to do that later (oop secret). Also, when drawing something from the author’s imagination, the thing drawn does not disappear. Futility was made using the pen, by 9/10, and it responds better to him.
  10. How does Tagging work btw I wish to exploit loopholes *malicious intent detected*
  11. The Futility of Language, a sword too sharp to actually be useful in combat. 9/10mmHB#2 isn’t much of a threat here, he has zero powers, some makeshift armor, and a sword that really isn’t very practical in combat.
  12. “What’s that you’ve got there?”, 9/10mmHB#2 says, gripping Futility. “Does someone have a Narrator core? Valuable.” He advanced on Ribbon, just as Pree did the same, giving an experimental thrust.
  13. 9/10mmHB#2 rolls out of Fog’s grasp. He won’t try killing her, the Futility of Language is so sharp that it cuts through reality itself unless your Intent changes its target. Even then, he doubts it would be able to cut something made of mist. Instead, as he is dumped into a pile of ribbons meant to hinder him, he cuts through reality twice, falling feet-first in the middle of the group. The sword was always meant to listen to him. He draws the pen- The pen flies out of his hand, into the sea below. 9/10mmHB#2 curses.
  14. It tries to speak. Luckily, Inkwell has plenty of muscle memory available for it to use. “Tell that to your girlfriend.”
  15. How did you know hehehe 9/10mmHB#2 opens his eyes. Licks his lips. Smells and hears the Sea. The sudden arrival of the experience known as physical sense, not just text flashing by like noise in his mind, is a euphoric moment.
  16. Inkwell’s eyes roll back in his head. Unconscious. Someone inside of him is screaming to stop seeking attention, but he’s not sure which one.
  17. Yuh oh Inkwell immediately curls up into the fetal position, fall ing off the cliff.
  18. Um so 9/10 just made a deal with Pree, and one of Pree’s friends is supposed to do that. So if Ribbon was the one that he was referring to, yes. If not, I’d enjoy adding some consequences into their bond.
  19. Staring at the waves, Inkwell says, “I think the safest place for him is contained in my mind. If he gets out, I don’t know what he’s capable of.” wait what i specified pencil because it’s the pen that’s magic. Idle background material. The pen isn’t that powerful anyways, it can’t manipulate planets or create things like Narratorblades
  20. Inkwell sits down on the edge of the cliff and begins sketching the horizon. He deliberately selects a pencil. Who knows the consequences of stealing the soul of the sky?
  21. “His author wasn’t present. So I immobilized him and cut a rift out of there.”
  22. “Why don’t you all stop worries about the voices on my head, murderous or not? Weren’t you talking about narrators, and how to kill them? If Rebus follows me, I would like to know how to stop him. Oh, by the way. I ticked off Rebus and didn’t die. So that’s good.”
