Third book was my favorite. It deals with a big bad only mentioned in the first book and takes place back on Genebackis. Personally, I think the second book is the most boring of the series.

Well, I always assumed that side quests were kinda fluid in time, so that you could do stuff while main story threads aren't going. Though if we do post in multiple threads we may want to implement somesort of timeline.

Share your ridiculous stories about maintaining the computers of people. You know who I am talking about. Those situations where you have to guide a person step by step on how to turn the computer on. I have a few gems from my dad. He worked as a computer specialist over the phone several several years ago. These are some of the conversations he would have. Person:Why isn't the computer turning on? Dad: did you press the power switch? Person: Nooo... Dad: Press It. Person: its not working. Dad: Is it plugged in? Person: Does it have to be? dad: Yes. another one. Person: Why isn't the computer talking to me? Dad: It can't talk. Person: But I saw a movie where a computer talked. And another. Person: I keep trying to install windows on my mac and it isn't working. Dad: (My dad referred this one to his boss) This is one of my own, this is the point where I learned that phone operated tech support is a futile endeavor. Person: OK. How do I turn it on. Me: press the power switch. Person: OK. Wait, it says BIOS. That is the virus that was on my last computer. %^&* I have to replace this one too.

It was a guess really. I tried counting from the order of registering but lost count a few times. Is there a better way? don't deny it.

What does a new member need to know in order to really fit in with this community? Not much really. If you are a fan of Brandon Sanderson it is really easy to fit in. What is a common mistake that new group members often make? Hmmm, Lurking I suppose. Has the community helped you through a tough or emotional time? Not really, but I know that they are willing to listen and help if I need it. Is there a specific event/post/moment where you felt like you had transitioned from noob to accepted member? (hopefully spikes weren’t involved…) Well, I was here for a while. Not really one of the first, (I was more like the 56 or so person) but I was there when the site transitioned from the clunkier and less organized without the pretty pictures site into what it is now. Tell me about your favorite meme or inside joke from the 17th Shard. (For instance… what’s with the waffles?) :D Eerongal is a woman. It started in this topic. When Peter thought Eerongal was the name of the girlfriend of a guy named Eeron. It started spreading of course, with me helping it along. Not shown is the meme spreading to the chatroom.
