Just got finished reading Lord of Flies. It was not good.

Death by communicating through causes of death.

Death by strange coincidence of having just done that.

Ambrosius Ambro cuts the burning cloth away, then draws Damnation. The dual-weilded knives begin to vibrate and hum, audible only to Ambro. I would have preferred not to use this, but I learned an interesting little trick for this kind of situation and I need to do as much damage as possible. The human mind may be intelligent, but it's reflexes still can be manipulated. when you throw something at someone who is just about to attack, they can't dodge. Timing it to the moment when the the symbols flare, Ambro throws both daggers. As he throws Ambro turns and runs, jumping hard as he comes to the edge of the arena. The force of his jump makes an arc as he hits the glyph wall kicking hard with both feet. If I'm right the rebound force should launch me over the fire wall. I hope I'm right. (OoC: the trick Ambro is talking about really works. I use it all the time when playing dodgeball. It never fails.)

I just remembered some more. Mid-sentence Infodump When I am trying to explain something to someone, I will be speaking a sentence, when my brain tells me I left out key bits of information. Then, despite knowing that I could easily say those key bits after I am done with the sentence I am currently speaking, I begin saying those bits. E.X. "So I am on this site called 17th shard. On this site is an RP called the...oh yeah the site is a Brandon Sanderson fansite. The official one now...The RP is called the nexus." In really bad cases, saying those key bits reminds me of more bits, and then I try to say those. TWo LEtter CAptiolization When I type on the computer, for some reason I keep capitalizing the first two letters instead of the first letter. Thankfully it only occurs on computers where it is easily fixed. Word Visualization Sometimes this one goes away, but occasionally I can visualize a word in my head as a certain shape and coloration, unique to that word.Take the word "with" for example. Visualized, that word looks like a downward curving dash that is light green in color and bends towards the POV in the middle. If I wait long enough and concentrate I can think whole sentences in shapes and colors.

There was this book called White Wolf, that I read in 3rd grade. At the time I thought it was really interesting. Basically, the U.S. got taken over by communists (Yeah, its that kind of book) and the protagonist escapes from one of their re-education camps. He finds the U.S. Army They kick butt. The End. Reading it again, however, and the whole thing screams bland plot and deus-ex.

Death by Death, Destroyer of Worlds.

Ambrosius Pain? Pain is good. Hopefully, I shoved enough sand down her throat to damage her lungs. Chucking the, now flaming, stake at her face, Ambro shifts to Melodic Bladesinger. Pain is the only option here. Damnation is to risky, and silence only really helps with mages and assassinations. Drawing Pain, Ambro charges, confident in the fire resistant properties of his silk armor. I just need to make a scratch. Just one to activate Pain's effect.

A Tale of Investigations, Intrigue, and Irritating Princes

"Leylines that exist on the surface have..." Krh'rhl struggles to translate a word, "...Taproot lines. These Taproot lines can give a general indication of the overall flow of Leyht. In recent years, there has been an overall negative feel to the flow of Leyht, this has, for various reasons I can't tell you, an ameliorating effect on my species." That should be enough to satisfy why I asked the question. "I can't provide much more information than this, I am really just a cartographer who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. However, you did ask another question." Krh'rhl pauses for a moment, "As I said, the first time our species met was the last time my species felt these effects. I beleive you call the representative of your species at that meeting Xan?" The large amount of speaking seems to tire Krh'rhl, he says no more. -
I have been meaning to watch more of them, but I have this quirk where its hard for me to start related works, unless I start in in-universe chronological order. The problem here is that there isn't one big chronological order.

#2 for when I talk to people who don't watch anime, but usually #3. My first anime was Yume Tsukai. Ones I have liked are Bleach, FLCL, Naruto (early on), anything by Miyazaki, Last Exile, Gundam00 (see my name), Deathnote, Code Geass, and Higurashi. There are many on my to-see list. I read more manga than watch anime though, so that list will take awhile.

That is the problem with series involving ands. you can't tell which is grouped with which. So depending on how you read his statement, both are conclusions are correct. A map would be nice to clear up the confusion.

Krh'rhl didn't like how the man got closer. This is how they communicate unfortunately. They are social creatures and like to herd. While uncomfortable, Krh'rhl remains where he is. "There are a few things I could tell you, but first I need to ask you a question. How deep do Leylines go?" I can't tell them the truth, but I can let them come to their own conclusions. -
Ambrosius That is NOT tech-based! Ambro's atium-reflexes pull him out of the way, easily clearing the concussive blast. Despite easily dodging, Ambro feels the heat. The blast hits something behind Ambro causing the Glyphs to glow brighter briefly. That could have hurt. Huh? What are these symbols? The Atium shadows reveal another blast being prepared. Okay I will move in under the blast, then, timing my throw to when she breathes in, I will release the glass shards and sand. That should get me and opening to stab with the stake. The flames billow and Ambro moves in.
-
You forgot it before too, but it was not during combat so its okay. Of course, being that the opponent is evidently covered in flames, Ambro would dodge first then assess. So Ambro can't through people down the chasm to see what happens?
-
Not quite the same, but here would be my figurine. linky Also, I support the idea of shirts.
-
Thanks. I was wondering what you where waiting for. EDIT: I take it I can't see any atium shadows?

Jack Mckinney "Sure, go right ahead. I'll wait." Jack sits down on the floor, holding his Chemist chain in his hand, he seems to be meditating. I need a gun at least. A sword, grenades if they have them. I should also make a list of my copied powers.
-
Jack Mckinney "I don't know much about this place, and even less about the glyph arena." Jack thinks for a bit. "I arrived here sometime around 1 in the morning. I spent most of my time sleeping, waking only for breakfast and the start of the matches." Jack smiles, "Perhaps we should go look around for a bit. I have money, and its burning a hole in my pocket."
-
Jack Mckinney Jack shrugs, "Watch, yes. Don't know who he is though. I think Jay is his friend though." Jack looks Top directly in the eyes. The smile on Jack's face disappears and the atmosphere changes. "As to manipulating, don't worry about me. I already know more about who that one is than he heard from me about spheretech." Jack's comedic and carefree attitude is gone, replaced by a calm assurance and the practiced posture of a fighter. For a moment, Jack is revealed as the threat he is. And then its gone with a laugh. "But who needs to hear such talk. come, let us watch this match and discuss spheres."
