  1. The weird rules are why I’m only pinch hitting, otherwise I’d join (no offense Amanuensis, I just can’t be bothered to learn the rules, they are kinda weird, and that’s a crucial part of how I play, plus I’ve never played Zelda)
  2. First off, you won’t be perfect, just like everyone else, your ideals will be hard to keep. Kaladin couldn’t say the 4th ideal for an entire year, despite knowing the words, just because the ideals are hard does not make you any less worthy to say them. And you think your actions won’t matter, so what? If your actions don’t matter, then that means you can follow your ideals, not because they’ll help, but because you want to, because that’s who you want to be. I know that it’ll be rough, and that my words may not do much, maybe it’ll help for a bit, but later the feelings will return. The important thing to remember is who you’re trying to be, and try to act in accordance with that. I can’t promise it’ll all go well, it most certainly will not at times, but you might as well try. I know it may not seem like it, but you do make things better. It’s never fun to just sit by because you think you’ll make it worse. But if you have to keep restraining yourself, just don’t. Based on what you’ve said, you can’t make it worse by interfering Its hard, but if maturity is restraining yourself from trying to help and change things, then don’t bother being mature, do what you think is the right thing, not what others are telling you is(Ironic I know). I’m sorry you have to go through this, I hope something I’ve said has helped, but we’re here for you.
  3. Any final suggestions? Otherwise I’m submitting it tomorrow

  4. Saitaku, Underground, Saferoom Saitaku looked at the man speaking at him, incredulous. “I turned against people? I did the most reasonable thing. What’d do you expect me to do when I show up in the middle of a fight” He shook his head, “besides, how in Keseg am I supposed to know who’s who?” Saitaku glanced at the person tied next to him, they seemed to be awake as well. He nudged the man with his leg, “And who is this guy?” @Steel Speedster @Qianweilian
  5. lol, this is what fanfiction is for, all the cool stuff that doesn’t work, but would be so awesome to read if it did.
  6. Adding on to stuff that would definitely not work
  7. Okay, new update for my art, is the symbol in the upper left recognizable? It’s not a perfect replica, but unwanted to know if yall could at least tell what it was.

  8. Saitaku, Underground, Meeting Place Saitaku woke to something poking his head. Still groggy, he snapped his hand up, grabbing it, and snapping the stick that had been used. He heard a voice, along with a sharp laugh, “well this one’s awake” Blinking rapidly to clear his vision, Saitaku started glancing around him, trying to figure out what was going on. There seemed to be someone tied up next to him, the person didn’t look familiar though, so Saitaku excused him from his mind. What did these people want? @Steel Speedster @Qianweilian
  9. Being both and neither at all times in a contradictory state of existence
  10. A Distro is basically the distribution of roles throughout the player base. How many Elims there are, how conversions can they do, what roles do they have, etc And make sure to sign up for that if you haven’t already
  11. I can see why it exists, but just how it was implemented seems very unbalanced, and you could use that as part of what you’re doing. Like, for a potential Distro, giving the villagers 2 or 3 navigators so the Elims have to find and eliminate or convert them by d6, but if you want it to be balanced I’d recommend tweaking it Edit: if you actually made a Distro off of this, probably should work with another Gm to make sure it works. But you’d need one less navigator on Elim side than village, of equal of both, and then seekers. Because then it’s an interesting information game. But you’re choice
  12. So, reading through it. I was a lil confused on how the cold killed people. So obviously decide on how that works. Second, the journey counter seems unnecessary complicated and overpowered. If there’s one navigator, it puts the game on a 3 turn of 6 turn clock. If two, and on opposite sides, nothing happens. If 2 and on same side, 2 or three turn clock. It seems complicated and not needed. So I would recommend taking that out, or adjusting the role of the navigator to make it so Navigators don’t just put everything into a 3 turn clock if people don’t kill them
  13. Looks cool, I assume it’s the ketek you posted earlier, so good job. Plus the ketek itself is really nice
  14. Saitaku, Underground, Meeting Place The person Saitaku had been squirming the entire time so far, not the best in these situations. Saitaku hit the person on the head, and threw them at some approaching people, trying to clear some room. Other commotion was coming from differ parts of the place, and allomantic abilities were being used everywhere. Pushing through the mass of people, Saitaku felt a piece of metal pass through his left arm. Turning to face the attacker, he realized it was the result of some lurchers on the opposite side of the room. Saitaku cursed, trying to run faster, but his arm was slowing him down. It wasn’t easy to ignore a chunk of metal in his arms, unlike his spikes. Unfortunately a woman who had even stronger muscles than Saitaku stepped in front of him. Brute, Koloss-blooded, thug, any combination of those, this was bad. Nonetheless, Saitaku tried to sprint past the person, only to get hit so quickly, the woman had to be tapping steel. Saitaku feared for his spikes, if he got hit like that in the chest… one or two might get dislodged, and that might be fatal… that was his last thought… as a blow once again hit his head, knocking him into darkness. @Steel Speedster @Qianweilian
  15. As long as you give credit to the people who made the individual keteks, I’m fine with you using mine
  16. I’m happy being backup, Im sure if we actually voted Tj would win anyways(I’d vote for him). So unless @|TJ| has something to say about it, I think it’s TJ as main with me as backup
  17. Okay, so, we know that somehow these scholars got quite a lot of breath, (experimenting is expensive) which has made me think of something very disturbing. The Priests always used a child for the weekly breaths the Returned needed to survive. The reasoning being that a child’s breath was more vibrant(and potentially having more investiture?). But it raises the question, how young does one need to be to give their breath away? Presumably old enough to say the words, but if surrounded by those words in that particular order, it’s feasible that a child under 3, or maybe 2, could transfer their breath to someone. Theoretically, someone could mass produce breath, assuming they had enough resources. And Vasher had a Kingdom during the majority of the war. Breaths are not as rare as we think, assuming you’re fine with some very unethical stuff
  18. lol We were going to do Jo, and then it switched to you, so at least one of you would’ve been an Elim, if not both (perhaps Jo would have converted you) But anyways, yeah, I am very proud of myself for doing that
  19. Very true, the mass production of shard blades would be very dangerous. But also interesting to see. Because on one hand armies would want to have aluminum armor/shields, and on the other you’d want to be able to defend yourself from some guy with a cannon. Of the two though, I think Nightblood would have a greater impact. Yes, there will be so many people who would be unable to use it for more than a few seconds, there’d be those who cannot pick it up without going ill. But those who could, who consistently have enough investiture to draw it, would change the course of the cosmere. The floor of Nightblood is really low compared to shard blades, but the ceiling is so, so much higher. RoW spoilers (In an attempt to come back from my own Tangents) Ultimately, the only time we ever see Nightblood used against Lifeless is near the end of the book, and then a single touch of Nightblood completely disintegrated them. I don’t think we’ve seen Nightblood’s true destructive potential yet.
  20. I’d argue that Nightblood is better than a shardblade, as is.
  21. Nightblood is on a complete different level RoW spoilers WaT spoilers
