  1. Not necessarily the same since both of those votes weren't exactly consequential (the 1st instance was voting Mist with Wahr and that wagon was unlikely to go through since Wahr had 5 votes to Mist's 2; the 2nd instance was tying Hael with TUM, where it was kind of clear Hael wins that tie) and both times he didn't really try to make a conscious effort to encourage people to vote the same way I tried going back to the previous phases and see interactions between the alive 6 + Archer (of whom I suspect most as elim). Didn't realize it would take a lot more time than I expected it to since I'm limiting the number of people, so I ended up not finishing D3B and N3B, and here's my notes from it. I'll need to give more of a think on it tomorrow after I wake up for my conclusions D2A D3A N3A D1B N1B D2B N2B
  2. I guess I'll look more into how the three of them interacted with each other. I think the tie doesn't necessarily make Hael villager since the counterwagon had Archer, Mist, and Coco in it, so if Hael is elim, then there's incentive to save him, especially that they were trying to win the loop. I do agree Hoid hadn't been villagery in the general sense. I guess I just lean more towards him being village for the reason that in QF77, he also stated that he would be inactive, but that later down the line, he couldn't stay out of adding and influencing the game (as elim). I'll need to read TwinStorm's posts to see if there's anything that's more alignment indicative
  3. I feel like Burnt and Hael are much closer in likeness in behavior compared to Hael and TwinStorm. Both have been rather active in the RP front while being less contributing on the analysis/social side (though I do agree Burnt has contributed far more with putting out reads, just that the ones I remembered from the earlier days that I have a better memory of tended to be more neutral/have less conviction in her stances) Why do you think that there would only be 1 max elim among the alive active players? And that implies you think Burnt and one of Hael/TwinStorm is elim. Between Hael and TwinStorm, who are you leaning more towards?
  4. Since the elims have won the previous two loops, I'm inclined to think that the elims have worked hard to ensure that those wins are achieved, especially that majority of the players in this game have been the target of a wagon at least once in this game. Due to that, I think their composition trends more toward players that have not only been active, but have also tried to sway wagons with voting or strongly advocating for certain people to not be executed. There are at least 3 elims in the 6 player pool of Doc, Coco, Mistfallen, Burnt, Hael, and TwinStorm, and with these 6 people, I see them as belonging to 1 of 2 groups. Group 1 - Doc, Coco, Mistfallen These 3 have been quite active, both in driving discussion and trying to accumulate the maximum possible rupees per cycle. In Loop 1, Coco and Mistfallen have been instrumental in the people executed during both days while Doc has been off-wagon. In Loop 2, all three have been on either the executed's wagon or a legitimate counterwagon to the executed. I believe there are at least 2 elims in this group, especially with the fact that most of the days had very close votes, where the outcomes weren't always set in stone until the last few minutes or hours. Group 2 - Burnt, Hael, TwinStorm These 3 have been less active and haven't tried as hard to influence the outcome of executions. Burnt and TwinStorm have ended 2/5 days with a vote while Hael has ended only 1/5 days with a vote. Out of all those votes, the most consequential is Burnt's vote on Stick since it was necessary for Stick to go over (especially with Archer deleting Araris from the loop). Burnt is also the one among the three who has tried the most to meet activity requirements while Hael has done similar to a lesser extent with the analysis side leaning more towards mech talk. I think within this pool of three, there's at most 1 elim since I do not think the elims were just banking on the village imploding on itself and if they were, I think we would have won at least one loop rather than lost both. Burnt and Mistfallen cannot be elims together, so I am thinking the possible teams would include: If Burnt is e!, that would mean two of her teammates are Coco and Doc. If Mistfallen is e!, that would mean two of his teammates are either Coco or Doc (leaning more towards Coco due to her strong defense of Mist on D1B, but there is possible distancing with Doc too with how he was wary of Mist, but never voted him), and either Hael or TwinStorm (leaning more towards Hael as I feel like e!Hoid would try to do more even if inactive, like in QF77). So, my possible teams I'm picturing are - Burnt, Coco, Doc - Mistfallen, Coco, Hael
  5. I think it'd be important to note that someone has definitely bought the Mask of Scents on Loop 2, since it had been shown to be out of stock during Night 1B. Either Burnt bought it or an elim teammate bought it (if e!Burnt and no one else has counterclaimed having bought said mask)
  6. Hmmm true, that makes this a really tricky situation For us to win, we need to exe 2 elims this loop and 2 elims the next loop. And since we can only get a 2 - 2 tie with elims in number of loops won, we will be proceeding to a final day 4, where we have to execute a 3rd elim (as this final day continues from loop 4 and does not resurrect anyone). So e!Burnt lying and putting herself in a 1 v 1 with Mistfallen gives us the opportunity to ensure we have a 50% chance of winning on that final day if we execute other elims on the 4th loop and keep them both alive until the final day, where we choose who is elim between them. But, I guess thinking about it, maybe I'm thinking too far ahead and they are ultimately putting their eggs towards gunning hard for the win in this loop
  7. He mentioned being able to track who sent messages on D3A. Then on N3A, he revealed that he can see who PMed who. On D1B, he revealed the exact list of who sent messages to which players and when That's a fair point and I think Burnt did express wanting to PM very early in the first loop, so she could have clarified that. It does depend on whether or not Burnt is the cautious sort of player, who'd check to make sure the strategy's 100% solid
  8. Bringing this up (Postman Messages L1) since it might be relevant to building elim teams. On Day 3 A, Doc brought up that he had information on which players sent messages, which I believe only he knew that that was part of his role at that point in time since it's not stated anywhere in the mask description. If we assume Doc is village, then that could mean e!Burnt is not in a team with Hael, Coco, and Doc, since there's no reason really for her to send fake PMs to her fellow elims, since no one was aware that the Postman knew where the messages were going. That would mean her teammates are Mistfallen and TwinStorm, which also doesn't make sense either since she's in a thunderdome with Mistfallen with the Mask of Scents situation. If we assume Doc is elim, then this is irrelevant and there is a world where knowing that he has such info, that he would send messages to potential fellow elims (Coco, Burnt, Archer) and then reveal that info on D3 to make it look like e!Burnt isn't connected to Hael, Coco, and Doc. At the moment, I find this unlikely since it seemed like this was the only instance where he had mentioned it. With this info, I think that Doc and Burnt are most likely on the same faction - either both are village or both are elim. And at the moment, I'm leaning toward the possibility they're both village. I'm trying to rationalize why an e!Burnt would lie about seeing Mistfallen visit Ashbringer, and I feel like it's more of a disadvantage to do so? Mistfallen is in a much better position after D2B, so it would have been a hard sell to make up those results. And for our wincon atm, we win if we win two loops and win the final day. During the final day, we win if we execute an elim and I'm not sure I see the value of an elim putting themselves in a thunderdome and giving us a guaranteed 50% chance of winning on that final day if we reach it. A possible motivation would be that they are that confident they could seal the deal and win the game by winning this loop, but I'm finding it unlikely since they have very little room to hide now since all eyes will be on what they do and say throughout this loop.
  9. Hmmm, so we basically have 3 to 4 elims within 6 people (Coco, Mistfallen, Burnt, Doc, Hael, TwinStorm). We're down 2 loops, but we also have good odds currently at winning the third loop Coco I said it in the dead doc, but I re-evaluated after I died and one of the people I found to be very suspicious was Coco, who had been part of 3/3 misexes (now at most likely 5/5), and that it felt like it was odd that she wasn't really getting any heat on her at the time unlike everyone who had been part of those exes, which made it seem like she was being covered for by teammates. I also thought it odd that on Night 1 B, she said she had a surprised reaction to how big the train got when she returned after rollover, which felt odd because she had been making posts close to the end of that phase and so, she had already witnessed that happen (she was the 4th vote too). There's also her association with Archer, which TJ has already elaborated on. Another point I would like to add to that was how they seemed to gang up on Araris early Day 2 B with Archer expressing suspicion on Araris, but not actually voting for him and then Coco jumping on that (despite having just voted with him the previous day). I've actually yet to read the later phases of this loop as I've been busy, so I'll hopefully get to that today
  10. Are you saying that all the non-Loop 1 voters (except for Ash who is confirmed) are village? I'm almost sure I'm losing a tie with Burnt because I don't really have the energy to write RP during day phases and I think Burnt's reached the max for all cycles (including this one)
  11. I disagree with this because I've been trying to solve the whole time? .... there wasn't even an exe on D1? Why didn't it matter anymore on D3?
  12. I voted Burnt Can you elaborate more on how you define coasting? I could see how that applies to Coder, but neither Archer or I have been coasting at all. If you had any questions for me to, especially with things you wanted clarified, let me know Had the same question for you as one of the non-voters in Loop 1, why didn't you vote at all?
  13. Hahah somehow I thought you had reached 20 because of your interaction with Mistfallen mentioning dead meat and I was like, I guess you got the dead doc mask?? I'm fairly sure I was asleep when people were voting Wahr (my timezone's UTC+8), so I think it's more NAI. But anyways, I had voted Wahr because I felt that some of his statements and actions were contradictory (being suspicious of people moving away from Wonko/Archer and then doing the same; believing one of them to be elim and then voting Mistfallen), and also that Archer's one of my village reads, so I didn't want him to go either I wanted to ask, why didn't you vote at all the previous two days?
  14. I feel like Mistfallen's been overzealous in every game he's played so far from QF77 to now, so I guess at this point, I'd consider it a playstyle thing and NAI. I liked the detailed reads too and one thing that made me lean more villagery on him was his early D3 suspicion of me where he noted how I wasn't responding to questions. And I feel like it's a kind of observation that comes moreso from village. Then again, some of the more recent comments he made give me pause Hahaha I laughed at your imitation of Hael's reaction and yeah, I think that's one of the reasons I feel that it's not really clearing. Anyways, something I've been concerned about is that there are 3 people who haven't committed to a vote by the end of the day: Hael, Burnt, and Coder. Coder has voted Archer on D2 and then retracted it close to EOD while both Hael and Burnt haven't voted a single time at all. I find that concerning because I don't know where they stand and it's a common elim strategy to stay under the radar by not holding any responsibility over an exe I'm still suspicious of Hael, but I'd like to vote Burnt for the moment. I really liked the large readslist on D2, but then she hasn't really done anything with those reads to try getting an elim Wanted to ask, how did you not end up getting any mask? I'm surprised you missed out lol
  15. Only for D3A. I re-equipped it for N3A. Doc's visit on D2A consumed one of the two uses, so I needed to unequip it on D3A in case someone sent me a message. And yea, it was my plan to try and get night killed, but that didn't end up happening Is he really clear though? It can be reasonable to assume the elims know that ties are decided by lowest rupees (and it was brought up in D2A) and the elims could compare how much potential rupees Hael had compared to TUM, and see that there's no need to worry since it'd likely require an additional vote for e!Hael to go over. Though, I guess it is still quite risky, especially that the previous day had a bunch of movement near the end, so if Hael is elim, it'd make more sense to add a vote or two on TUM to ensure it does go through
  16. Yeah, it's lowest rupees and I think it was Archer that asked Aman about rupee earning, and that there is a certain level of effort required for a post to count for 1 rupee earned, but that the bar's not that high either. And yeah, even in non-flipless games, that's a common strategy either intentionally or unintentionally. Some elims would post less because posting less means there's fewer things to pick apart Oh, I thought you had the dead doc mask and that was why Mistfallen told you in D2, "you shouldn't have said that". Guess I was mistaken I had Don Gero and didn't know Postman would trigger its effect, so I had it equipped until I got notified when D2A ended that Doc had targeted me. I unequipped it for D3A. Unfortunately, I never got visited on any night
  17. Just wanted to note, ties are decided by lowest rupees (I think it also counts for rupees already spent?) and TUM simply had fewer posts than Hael, so that's how he ended up going over I see, I thought that was your plan. Hmm, fair point, I guess there could be some reverse psychology there, but noted
  18. You didn't consult with Archer? Actually, when you said "Burnt to None", it became obvious to me that you had the Mask of Scents and when I looked back at the previous day, with your interaction with Archer, I thought you had consulted with him on the target based on the four people that you suspected to be elim. You both agreed to put a pin on 3 and the third one on your list was Burnt. Something I thought about btw was, why does volunteering for the exe make someone more villagery? I feel like I'm slightly concerned about this because from what I remember so many have stated at some point that they're okay with being exe'd (from the top of my head, Archer, Wonko, Doc, Coco, Coder, you, TUM), that it feels like an easy offhand comment for an elim to make to look "villagery". Anyways, not really the point, but I guess at the moment, I'd just consider it as NAI. I see, I didn't find it suspicious, but I can see why, ty!
  19. I see, how did Stick talk about them? Also, what made you trust to work with Archer on this plan in the first place?
  20. Oof I was really hoping that we would have won the loop, but I guess at least we have confirmed villagers now and hopefully, they'll remain active to provide input I was one of the five that Doc sent a PM too. I haven't replied to it though. Idk, I'm struggling to find a reason for me to send out a PM when I could just share the information I have at the start of the next loop and not deal with the possibility that the information I share gets compromised I'm still thinking that Hael is an elim. Hael is clearly not that inactive, especially that he's been posting more since D3A and yet, he still hasn't delivered on giving any reads at all and continues to just give mech talk, which is something more typical of an elim to do to look like they're helping the cause No? I was working with the idea that either Wahr or Ashbringer were elims, and I've stated why I thought that was the case. I was trying to look at things from your perspective and you mentioned "I'm currently operating on the assumption that the elims are trying to win the loop", so that has to come with the assumption that Wahr is village since if you think he's isn't, then in that world you're projecting, the elims have already lost the loop. You then later on respond that you don't have a strong take on Wahr's alignment and that he hadn't done anything that looked village from your perspective. And that you're not factoring that into any of your reads. To me, I find that problematic because it comes across that your solving is inauthentic and contradictory. To your favor though, you did go after the people who voted for Wahr, which makes sense from the world you're working with, but it did leave me feeling confused where you actually stand. Can you explain more what made you choose these targets (if said information would be more helpful to us)?
  21. "Thank you," he told Thistle as he stashed away his bow for the moment and accepted the bomb flowers. "These will be very helpful." Something Gor Elam realized as the battle was going on, was that Odolwa was easier to hurt at certain moments. That was when he was dancing and when he was trying to summon those moths and insect minions. He knew timing was very important; otherwise, these gifts from Thistle would go to waste. So, he waited. But he was nervous too. What if he missed and Odolwa figured out their ploy? He steeled himself. There was far too much at stake to be worried and overthink. He readied himself, prepared to launch these bombs at the exact moment when Odolwa's guard was down. Then it came. He threw the bomb with as much force as he could muster. *boom* Odolwa was staggered, the explosion definitely dealing some damage to the monster. He looked around, a little confused where the bomb came from. Before Odolwa could recover, Gor Elam had prepared the other bomb flower and tossed it again at the monster, hitting dead center. *boom* It was time for this crew to end this.
  22. I saw it, but misread the part where you handed the bomb flowers and thought it was handed to Kieran and Amora haha ty!
  23. The chaos of battle happened around Gor Elam. Bodies were being thrown as the monster slashed at them with his sword. Moths and insect minions bothered the warriors and as they distracted themselves with fending off these pests, Odolwa's sword would reach them. He saw the warriors scurry around, trying to find an advantageous spot to deal damage to him. Gor Elam did the same, but he stayed back, careful to be outside the range of Odolwa's sword. He pointed his weapon and took some shots at Odolwa, hitting him at different areas of his body. He was far from being adept with the bow, but with how massive the monster was, it would be an embarrassment to miss the mark. However, from observing the monster, it was clear that the arrows were mere nuisances to him and hardly had an impact to the fight. He had to think of another strategy.
  24. [Start of Night 3-A] They made their way through the temple. There were puzzles and monsters along the way, delaying their mission, but they powered on. However, didn't come without sacrifices. One of his companions, who had took on the duty to support the crew by ensuring that they weren't burdened by tools nor that they weren't dehydrated, had fallen protecting one of the Goron that had come with them. Seeing this made Gor Elam remember the fragility of life. That it could end all of a sudden without any notice. He became more cautious himself. He would care for these fellow Terminians, but he would value his safety too. He still had a family and a village to return to, and so, he would not fall here. He readied his bow as they entered the dark chamber where they finally found the Deku Queen. And so, he was prepared when things didn't go as planned and Odolwa the giant had risen from a long slumber. They would fight and they would live.
  25. [Day 3-A] Walking to Woodfall was its own trial for Gor Elam. The paths were narrow and low. They were very well-suited for Deku Scrubs. Not so much for the Goron, who were both tall and had larger builds than most of the other races in Termina. He had to try making himself lighter when crossing the lily pads and log bridges, else he would be more of a terror to the local route system compared to their enemies. They reached their destination and he saw the apprentice play the Song of Healing. They were heading to a dire situation, but he couldn't resist to appreciate how beautiful the melody of the song was and look in awe as a time-forgotten temple rose from the depths, the air of mystery looming and the darkness beyond hiding the unknown that they would soon traverse into. As soon as they entered, the members of the team organized themselves and set out on the tasks that they had agreed upon beforehand. He was responsible for supporting the crew in figuring out mechanisms that would allow them to navigate inside the temple. He always wondered why these temples had these complex mechanisms, but now he knew that they safeguarded treasures and secrets that weren't meant to be accessed by everyone. Now, they entered these old pieces of history and it was time for them to write another entry.
