It's still honestly shocking to get called a girl by my friends, even though some of them are also trans (I don't know any trans fems irl), but it still gives me a jolt, and I get really nervous

Yeah, it was a while ago. My brain just decided that I wasn't really allowed to be trans, so I just shoved that out of my brain and considered other identities.
