QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah I got the same message. Also, turns out that I accidentally lied yesterday about not getting dead drops bc somehow Drake's message with the messages got marked as cleared. Is there some way to turn off the "clear all incoming messages when one is opened" feature? The contents of today's dead drop: Just a "good luck you'll need it." Might be a response to a similar message to the one I recieved yesterday given the emphasis on the first sentence (see below). Planet guy's gone, so that was probably Divergent. No help there. The contents of yesterday's dead drop: A threat to send me to Mustafar and a "send a dead drop to all players starting with Ladies and Gentlemen". Not overly helpful. If TwinStorm ends up being elim I will be kicking myself bc yesterday at like 12:58 I almost swapped my vote to TwinStorm bc IHAT wasn't seeming like an elim. (if i were to send a last minute rp as an elim I sure wouldn't be doing a "it was time to get fired", that is a purely village move) Although does anyone know what the details about what he did with his role were? Bc he said he would send them but never did. I think he arrested Kas, and said it didn't change anything, but that's a guess from what he said in an rp. Sry about voting you IHAT, and rip Fura. I'm wondering why Argenti and TwinStorm seem so opposed to each other - Argenti's constantly voted TwinStorm and now TwinStorm's voting Argenti as well. I honestly can't see a world where both of them are elim. So these are my current elim candidates: Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE (well Aeturnum now ig), Worldhopper, HoidSlayer. Doc or Kas may be in there, but I'm considering those five for now bc I have a fairly consistent village read on Doc and Kas and my deepwolf world aged real well yesterday. If all five are elim, we're losing. If four are elim, this'll be !!!FUN!!! (translation: this'll be incredibly dicey and will suck). So I'll go over my possible three elim teams bc I don't want to think about four or five elim worlds. All possible teams out of my primary suspects (this took forever to write out): [Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Worldhopper], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, ACE, Worldhopper], [Argenti, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, ACE, Worldhopper], [TwinStorm, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [ACE, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer]. Someone lemme know if I missed anything, I hate combinatorics. We can rule out the following for now. [Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Worldhopper], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, ACE, Worldhopper], [Argenti, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, ACE, Worldhopper], [TwinStorm, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [ACE, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer]. bc Argenti and TwinStorm are far too opposed to be on the same team. TwinStorm called out IHAT, Argenti, and Hoid Slayer in his post. This further rules out the "Argenti, TwinStorm, Hoid Slayer" world bc while he might call out one teammate, he wouldn't call out two. I'm going to put all worlds where he's on the same team as Hoid Slayer in yellow bc those are unlikely at least, although not impossible. [Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Worldhopper], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, ACE, Worldhopper], [Argenti, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, ACE, Worldhopper], [TwinStorm, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [ACE, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer] Dive was "less suspicious" of TwinStorm D3, when he had likely linked up with someone, so that indicates TwinStorm slightly, want to think about that more in my analysis though. Argenti is defending Hoid Slayer, so going to put the worlds where those two are on the same team in green. This is the point against TwinStorm being an elim - Argenti and TwinStorm not on same team, TwinStorm against Argenti and Hoid Slayer, Argenti supporting Hoid Slayer. [Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Worldhopper], [Argenti, TwinStorm, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, ACE, Worldhopper], [Argenti, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [Argenti, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, ACE, Worldhopper], [TwinStorm, ACE, Hoid Slayer], [TwinStorm, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer], [ACE, Worldhopper, Hoid Slayer] Worldhopper voted Hoid Slayer, the only one to do so. Either they knew it wouldn't gain any traction, or wanted to make themselves less suspicious. If anyone has any ideas on how to eliminate any of these worlds, or any info that could eliminate some, pls let me know. As it stands: Argenti - 3 worlds, 2 with support shown, 3 more vy unlikely. ACE - 5 worlds, 1 likely, 1 unlikely. 1 more vy unlikely. Worldhopper - 5 worlds, 1 likely, 1 unlikely, 1 more vy unlikely. Hoid Slayer - 5 worlds, 2 unlikely, 2 likely, 1 more vy unlikely TwinStorm - 3 worlds, 2 unlikely, 3 more vy unlikely. I need some way to eliminate ACE, Worldhopper, or Hoid Slayer. Fura got no action from Hoid Slayer D3/D4, and Hoid was active then, so would've submitted a vote. That makes me lean towards non-Hoid worlds for now, so [Argenti, ACE, Worldhopper], [TwinStorm, ACE, Worldhopper]. (with [Argenti, TwinStorm, ACE] and [Argenti, TwinStorm, Worldhopper] as unlikely) That doesn't rly help with the Argenti vs TwinStorm mess, but does indicate ACE and Worldhopper somewhat. @Argenti @TwinStorm@ThatOneWorldhopper@Aeternum, I'd be interested to hear your reads on things -

I've gotten somewhat better after becoming a black belt, so yeah it kinda is that style - I can actually usually do back hook kicks now, which is good, bc I was supposed to learn those far, far before becoming a black belt - but still not as good as the other black belts. -

Oh please no. Although yeah she does. And makes Wyndle listen to it and he hates it. Wonder what Hoid would listen to... There's this one cover of Vivaldi's Spring that accidentally played one time that turns into like beatboxing halfway through and I always imagine Hoid during that messing with performers. I'd want Dalinar to have two different motifs - a current Dalinar motif, which is basically hopeful, rhythmatic, not too crazy, and then a Blackthorn motif, which is basically the current Dalinar motif but messed up to be darker and more chaotic. Then maybe a third one for kinda the time period between the Rift and Cultivation / essentially his guilt, which would be a mix between the two - darker, but more melancholy instead of loud and attention drawing. Then during the "You cannot have my pain" scene the three motifs could be interspersed, with the "guilt" variant of the Dalinar motif playing during the first half slipping into the Blackthorn motif in places, then it shifting into the current Dalinar motif. Also like a blend between the current Dalinar motif and Blackthorn motif for the Thrill-into-gemstone scene, where it's the Blackthorn theme but less dark, more hopeful. Maybe interspersed with a Thrill theme bc that pops up a lot. I won't go into other motifs bc I've created quite the text block with one book's worth of character progression... -

Reka held onto the drive for a moment before handing to Kimrick. "What... kind of security breach." Okay starting to wonder if it's not actually IHAT now but I don't want to do a last minute switch... ykw I don't think IHAT would be playing for a last minute vote switch, but I'm also not suspicious of TwinStorm but voting him'd be the only way to save IHAT... UGH THIS IS CONFUSING edit: oops didn't mean to send this after Drake sent that, got ninja'd. Sry IHAT.- 533 replies

QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Basically, you've felt off this whole time. There's only so far you claiming a strategy that an elim gave you can take you. You've been defensive almost non-stop, which again isn't a good sign. You were caught in a lie, again not a good sign. Also a TON of random votes, with no stated good reason, and stating you have no good reason. That kind of indicates you don't care about who you get voted out, as long as someone does, indicating elim bc elims are mainly focused on just not killing their own. So yeah.- 533 replies

QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
(believe it or not this helped me work through things without spinning into a loop. Enjoy some weird badly written rp reads. I'll put a translated version at the end.) Reka Wismil leaned against the railing near the entrance to the ISB headquarters, head spinning. She had stepped outside to try to clear her head, to solve this puzzle. It wasn't working. None of this made sense. She turned her mind away from the tangle that was Kimrick Hammyr and Coming Later for now. What of the others? Jasher Shea had not emerged substatively in two days, and would likely be replaced soon anyways. If Hammyr was loyal, then so were Korun and Cal Kyte, since they had not warned Slane yesterday. Unless all three were rebels. No. The ISB could not be so corrupt. The rebels were a disease spreading throughout the galaxy, but it could not have spread so far into the ISB itself! Everything led back to Hammyr or Coming Later. But then, if Slane had been warned that Hammyr was betraying him, would he have given the technology either way? So no. Korun and Kyte are probably loyal to the Empire. Johnny Kuplack. That one was odd. Seemed trustworthy at moments, seemed spooked at others. Then again, Jallo Delste had been accusing him of being a traitor day after day, for little reason, like he had said. Could one blame someone for finally making an accusation back? Delste himself has been very accusatory of Kuplack. I am not sure what that indicates, although it is certainly odd, particularly without any explanation. And then he had been just standing there sometimes, watching, but never saying anything. And then there's Lotus. The center of suspicion at the moment, it seems, along with Kuplack. But both the votes on Kuplack are from suspicious people themselves, while one of the votes on Lotus is from someone who's almost certainly loyal and the other is unclear. Perhaps Kuplack was right, at least about Lotus and Delste, although i am unsure his analysis of Coming Later. Both of them are acting suspect, and it's possible that they panicked and both voted in self defense. Both of them have been accused, a majority has been near to being gained, but then the vote slips away from them as we question ourselves. Besides, if I accuse Coming Later the vote is left to a three-way tie, and that is far too risky. And if I accuse Hammyr, my vote will mean nothing at all, as there is already a two way tie, and not close to being on Hammyr. If I vote Hammyr I may be playing into the rebels hands anyway, for Hammyr has already exposed one rebel and may be a great asset to the ISB. And Coming Later claims to be the medic, and none have yet challenged him. Yes. I will vote for Lotus. Reka stood at the railing a few moments longer, watching the lights of nighttime Coruscant. This is what we are defending. Safety and security for the empire against these rebels. Then, she turned and walked back into the building. IHAT. Apologies for the odd reading, I thought it'd be fun and I wanted to work in some rp. If anything was not expanded upon sufficiently, I'd be happy to explain my thinking further. QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah that's... fair actually. Lemme think about that. Also I forgot about the no action for Hoid Slayer, which is somewhat indicative. Also I don't want to vote someone who just did that, bc would an elim really do that? Going based purely off of feelings of posts and dms, I don't think either of you are elims, so lemme think about my logic for a bit.- 533 replies

QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah that's fair. I'm not sure if I'm deepwolfing or not, but there are a lot of worlds where it leads to you being elim. My guess is either you're an elim or Hoid Slayer is an elim, but I'm going back and forth there. I'll prob think about it for a little bit, might change my vote to Hoid Slayer given some pending dms. Edit: Figured out the pending dms. I misremembered something and thought I had found another inconsistency, but turns out there wasn't one. About Hoid Slayer vs Fura - Hoid Slayer has more imminently obvious evidence, admittedly, and if I vote Fura my vote won't do anything whereas if I vote Hoid Slayer it will, and that's a max 1 turn delay on finding another elim, so I'm going to change my vote once someone else sends a message (pls someone send a message so I can vote bc no editing in votes)- 533 replies

QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, exactly. That turning into "several different ways on several different occasions" is... suspicious. If there's a time I'm missing though I'll redo my analysis. There is no such PM I am in PMs with Stink, Twin, Kas, Doc and no one else Actually a group chat with Twin, Kas and Doc which do with as you will Okay I feel like Fura has some reason to push Hoid at this point, making me more suspicious of them, bc this is the second proveable inconsistency (I'm assuming Twin, Kas, and Doc are not all elims here, if they are, this is going to be impossible given the number of veteran elims on the same team.)- 533 replies

QF77: (S)Andor(son) Elimination
Ookla the Newt replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Are any of the ISB agents good... Alr here are my reads. I might just be too trusting but I'm pretty sure Fura's town. Regardless of whether they are, we can take them saying that Doc and Kas knew about the Divergent plan as well as fact unless both of them are elim, which seems unlikely, as one of them would catch the lie if either were village and Fura was elim. So leaning village: Fura, Doc, Kas. Using the groups of three from yesterday: HoidSlayer claimed Ace, myself, and Fura. IHAT claimed for both himself and Fura (so likely not lying about the message content unless both are elims) that he got Dive, myself, and Kas. There are two worlds there. v!IHAT not much to take from that, except maybe a self-knowing claim from Fura, but unknown there. e!IHAT almost certainly means e!Fura. We can probably take the Dive, Booknewt, and Kas message to be real, bc dual confirmation, and Divergent is confirmed elim (so prob sent the message). So that calls into question HoidSlayer's message. In v!HoidSlayer world: The elim who sent it is either Ace or Fura (or myself but I'm not counting myself as an elim in my own analysis), or was just trying to throw off ppl by not listing themselves, but then why send the message? In this world, e!Fura is probably the most likely - self-claim message, expose Dive, gain significant credit. So if HoidSlayer flips village, I will become very suspicious of Fura, but right now going to wait on that bc I have no good reasons to think HoidSlayer is village. In e!HoidSlayer world, then the list is all fake to throw people off, possibly knew about the other list from either IHAT, Fura, or Divergent. Okay I looked at HoidSlayer's post and noticed something he brought up. Uhhhhhhhh he did? How come Hoid Slayer doesn't know of this? I really thought I'd done a good job of not defending nor accusing anyone Seriously, though, what are you talking about? This is the only quote I could find where Hoid Slayer (wait it has a space well I'm not going to fix it this is a very train of thought post.) defended Divergent. Fura, if there are more, please let me know, but that's odd. There is... a lot here that is actually making me think e!Fura. Mentioning they've been playing chaotically to make people think they're not playing deep is also something to keep in consideration. So, Fura, I'm really sorry if you're village, but... Fura Edit for clarification: I just realized I listed Fura as on my village reads earlier in this post , disregard that, I didn't really go back and change stuff after coming to my final conclusion so this is really just train-of-thought, chronological order thinking.- 533 replies
