    Well, that’s to be expected. That’s why I’m struggling at band camp, cuz the second half of the second song is pure dissonance and I hate it so much

    Something really cool to me is how people learn music. Like, I have a good friend who can’t sight read and has to write the notes in, but if I play it for her ONE STORMING TIME she can play it nearly as well as I can. Or my process is weird. I can’t play it. At all. Even at like 20bpm. Until it clicks. Then I can play it at nearly any tempo (not like 16th note triplets at 168 like last show, that took me a while, but the way I learn is just weird that way) Or another friend of mine can’t read or watch, but if he hears anything, he can quickly sound it out. It’s endlessly interesting to me how different learning is for ppl.

    Ooh good question. I’m gonna say it regrets not being good enough to annoy you yet.     Real lol Idrk how relevant it is to you, but ik one of my… I wouldn’t say friend perhaps, but acquaintances has diabetes (ik it’s blood sugar related, again, idk how this would be in comparison to you), and he’s snare captain. And in front ensemble, there are plennnnnty of people who have things that don’t let them march. Like one of my best friends has POTS, another one of my friends has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (her joints pop out like all the time, cause immense pain and usually extreme difficulty moving that area) If you can stand in place (well, at least in my band we pulse, moving with the beat, but it’s very slight) and play an instrument inside in AC, marching band is doable And I also respect not wanting to do it WHAT I CAN’T STORMING RESPECT IS WHEN PEOPLE SAY MARCHING BAND IS EASY Legit one of my friends in chorus said “Chorus is more harder than marching band. It’s more harder than band, strings, and guitar put together” And then I grammar policed him. I made him look at my sheet music (he couldn’t read it in his head, what a silly), and then made him watch the drill, and he was like “it’s just walking while breathing out in chorus you actually have to try” *vague screams*

    Oh my storms yes I just got back On… *mental maths* 5 hours of sleep? It wasn’t my fault (mostly). I was up till 12 reading Name of the Wind, but slept in 5 minute intervals until 3… Being in pit includes bonuses such as not marching but I’m still more dead than I have been since school got out

The phantoms screamed and Axzi struggled out a few words. Strike now. Defeat them all… He then seemed to lose focus, muttering. The only words Rebus could make out were Brother… WHY?

    They screamed louder, increasing the Misery applied. They began to slowly form. Axzi stood stoically, fighting against his own memories. A single tear trickled down his face. We cannot give in, or we will join them. Last a little longer and they can be slain. All Rebus could feel from Axzi was sorrow and grief, and a sense of betrayed despair, an old wound not yet healed. Even the little sprite seemed somber, flitting in front of Rebus’ eyes and poking him lethargically. Cool lore, if somebody gives in to the despair, they become one of the phantoms
