    No no no no Look up the game I said. Your team has to guess the word on your card. You say things and they guess. The twist is you can’t say words with more than one sound. If you do, a guy on the team you fight will hit you with the no stick. It’s a fun game, but it’s hard. You should try it. It is hard to talk this way. I once more hit the bad guy with the stick

    I think just because Sanderson supplements plot with explanations (like fabrial science in RoW (yes yes it’s horrible and ruined Sanderson for you I know)) doesn’t mean it’s “inane” or that’s what the whole book is about. Plus, music theory is fun!

    I think the fact that nobody knows and every option being explored is the point of a theory thread. I think part of it is that most of Roshar knows little about Shinovar, so we only know what the Characters know. I think it was more intentionally dramatic than lazy. I agree more info sooner is nice, but it sometimes mystery is fun.

    Ok, slightly off WaT topic, but I suppose it hasn’t been on topic for some time. Dude. You have to at least read Mistborn. It came out before Stormlight, so it’s still that era you like. Read it with an open mind and you won’t be disappointed.

    Yeah, I’m not saying she wasn’t a good character, it just never clicked for me And, naturally, since it’s Sanderson, the arc is far better than many others outside of his works, I just for some reason couldn’t connect. This is true.

    Fair. I still really don’t care that much lol *slowly raises hand* I’m sorry but I never really connected with her. My brain went “oh I hate her” at first and then “oh she’s kinda boring”. I appreciate the chapters for the parshendi lore but I felt she never really got character development. I admit I do dislike this aspect of so much switching, but most books do that anyways. Even Yumi does that. Again, my opinion remains just that. Not saying this is Truth, just what I like about Stormlight

    Greetings an open minded individual, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance But I’ll touch on it briefly I like the grand scale, sweeping arcs, action-packed story, and the sheer amount of Hoid. You can add so much more lore and foreshadowing in a book of that size, and it can give me more than a day’s worth of reading. Plus the magic is way cooler to me. Don’t get me wrong, I think Yumi is a really good book but Stormlight is like my dream series. I love a big fantasy with cool magic, and Sanderson goes above and beyond.
