I'll defend any character if they deserve it, and right now Renarin deserves it.

Honestly I can't tell where either Renarin or Adolin are going at this point. Renarin's path seems at bit more stable given the end of WoR. Adolin is in one of those position where it could go ANY direction, which will make for good plot at the beginning of Stones Unhallowed. It's kind of like their roles switched. Renarin's future, which was once uncertain, is now more concrete, and Adolin's future has a giant boulder of uncertainty blocking his way into the future, either way it will make for good plot. Oh! and there's Sanderson writing it, so we have nothing to worry about. Those Kholin boys will be fine I'm sure. Now back to fawning over Renarin like the thread was started for and Feather has emphasized in the past. Renarin is brave is a laid back, cool, calculating way. (If you say that cool or calculating can't be brave you're wrong ) Renarin is always looking out for those he cares for. Does this make him brave? No. What makes him brave is that even though he knows full well that he has no chance against a chasmfiend, or that WoR scene he goes for it. Why? Because he's brave. Unfortunately he does seem to think himself beneath his family, and that he need to prove himself. Which he has done enough of in my opinion. Now I feel like I'm echoing Feather, but not doing Renarin justice so I'll let that settle for now.

Hey Chaos we should put together a 17th Shard GW2 event sometime. I have attracted some of the 17th Shard to the game now, and it would be cool to throw something together. Are you interested?

Not sure how I feel about this. On one hand I'm probably in one of Feather's fanfics. On the other hand, I'm probably the antagonist. *sigh*

My only conclusion is that Feather became so excited about lwd appreciating Renarin on his own that she Snapped. Began to burn copper and my bronze could no longer detect her. No matter. I will remind you that I did bring the thread back on track since you "left" (This coppercloud will make it much harder to prepare for you Feather ) and that I do appreciate Renarin for the person he is (even on the first read) even though it may not be to the extent of an entire fanbase fearing me for calling out the vaguest hint of a disagreement or topic derailment. (I was preparing the new guy for the intensity of your well known emotions toward Renarin.) Oh and lwd, read WoR and be amazed at the Renarin awesomeness contained within.

Well, now that she's passed. I must agree with the OP. Renarin is awesome. Hopefully we'll see more of him in Book 3 because... well you know. Maybe we'll even get a viewpoint next book because he's going to have his own eventually.

Buy, why wouldn't he. Shardpools are the way Hoid travels between worlds.

Buy. It kinda makes sense given the other shards we've seen. I think Nale is being influenced by Odium to kill fledgling Radiants.

I know how you feel, we had almost all of our WvW guilds leave early this season (hence our glorious position of last place) I've kinda given up until next season when we hopefully get a few guilds to transfer over. Lately I've been practicing my commanding in EotM. It's a great place to sharpen your commanding skills if you're new or out of practice.

& &How did you guys drop three ranks anyway? I command in WvW so it hurts a bit to be thrashed so hard, but with only two dedicated WvW guilds on SoR the situation looks bleak until next season. Grats on the easy victory though.

I will definitely add you Chaos, I've recruited up to about 55 members now, so I think I'll stay with my current guild. Of course there's also my WvW patriotism that I have paired with my loyalty to SoR. (Great story behind the server name btw). Maybe we can put together a 17th Shard Teq run sometime. Guessing this is the right place to put this sooooo... I play GW2 a bit and was wondering if anyone else did. I started playing way back in 2012 at the 3-day head start for people that pre-ordered the game got. So naturally I started a guild. I got to about 75 members before people started to go inactive. I left the game for sometime after that to and then came back and cleaned house. For those of you 17th Shard members that need a home I can provide. [some cosmere-aware company would be great] The server the guild is officially on is Sanctum of Rall and the guild name is Crusaders of Rall [CoR]. My in game name is the same as my 17th Shard name if you want to contact me with in-game mail or throw me on your friends list. I have access to a 512 man Teamspeak server if we need it. [so far the new guild members have been reluctant to hop on so it hasn't been used much.] For those of you who have never tried GW2 I recommend it. It's a great game for a first MMO and if although it was a little rough around the edges when it first came out, it's more than a decent game now. Just remember the Server is Sanctum of Rall [soR] when you first join up. And to the person that took the name Neturo son Vallano, I will find you, and mildly berate for the inconvenience of forcing me to find another cosmere character name.

I joined up, but most of the games I play are non-steam. i.e. Guild Wars 2, which if any of you look into I would suggest the Sanctum of Rall server... You know what? I might go start a thread for that.

Since the pool recedes before every highstorm it might be possible that the Stormfather would use the pool's investiture to invest a highstorm. Therefore draining the power and creating a vacuum for the lake to fill.
