  1. Not nearly as confusing as what just happened with me.
  2. lwd decided to make things awkward.
  3. It appears I committed mitosis. This copy-paste thing has strange side-effects.
  4. No, the contents of the vial are more powerful than the sword. No they don't copy things.
  5. Many things, but I keep them secret. The contents of that vial are a couple of those things.
  6. Usually, but I collect such things and have practice.
  7. 'Twas simple Lady Elsa. All investiture is the same, but like light cast through a prism it distorts based on the individual. It was a simple matter of using your sword as a blueprint and manipulating my own investiture to match it. It's not a perfect copy, but the only real difference is in the color.
  8. There isn't a difference Arrrgent.
  9. *Walks back into the throne room with a large case.* Lady Elsa, I have finished with the sword. It is truly remarkable. *Finds the nearest table and opens the case on it* I have made myself my own copy as well. *Takes out two swords, one with a gleaming blue blade and a golden handle, the other with a midnight blue blade, and a silver handle inlaid with ivory.* For you I present Glacier, and my own sword I have named Borealis.
  10. I am honored. I shall give the sword a name on the 'morrow.
  11. The vial is definitely NOT for decoration. If you look closely there are two silvery beads of metal inside, suspended in the Aluminum Nitrate. Your sword shall be returned when I am finished with it, no sooner, and no later. I serve no master, nor do I intend to.
  12. The Aluminum in the vial masks the true contents so nobody else can detect it. The nitrate doesn't actually do much. The sword shall be well taken care of. Don't worry.
  13. There is no need to worry Lady Elsa, the sword shall be returned. I serve no master. I simply gather knowledge. Btw Joe the contents of the vial are being stored in Aluminum Nitrate. Nice try though.
  14. *Takes the sword from Elsa with one hand and soulcasts a case for it with the other* Thank You Lady Elsa, I shall return it shortly. *Places the sword gingerly in the case, and clasps it shut* You may take this as a token of my good faith until it is returned. *Takes a small vial out of his coat and hands it to Elsa.* Once again. Thank you.
  15. I haven't had a chance to examine it yet Joe. I am a collector of knowledge. May I see one of them Elsa?
  16. I see, may I have a look at one?
  17. Be careful not to use all of your investiture Lady Elsa, that could become an issue. What exactly do these blades do Lady Elsa?
  18. Lol, it could be like a gifter Epic. They get an ice sword that can block Shardblades, and have the ability to control ice (not as well as Elsa of course)
  19. Hey guys I had this theory floating around in my head after I was doing some of my own worldbuilding and I decided that I needed holy numbers, I thought "Hey, I'll use the golden ratio." Since the Golden ration includes a decimal I needed to multiply by ten. The two numbers I got angered me slightly. For those of you who don't know, the golden ratio is 1:1.6, and it's often seen relating to nature and architecture. So I think that may be where Brandon got his numbers.
  20. Oh, you haven't read SA yet. Think of them as massive glowing swords that cut through anything. (Kinda like lightsabers but bigger) The only things that can block them are other Shardblades, Shardplate, and other heavily invested objects. (Cosmere term) And Panda, I already checked for investiture. There isn't any, but Elsa does have quite a bit on her own.
  21. Well if you are going to war then you may want to check out my info thread about the different guilds and factions.
  22. A sword made of ice has no chance against a Shardblade Lady Elsa. This is merely fact. I suggest you invest them before handing them out to your loyal subjects.
  23. lol ikr Just because I've planned it doesn't mean it'll happen, as I've never really written anything close to fanfiction before. But still, there's a possibility.
  24. I know. I thought you might figure it out if you reread it though. It might help others as well. I have two Shardweapons because I bonded both an Honorspren and a Cryptic. I have also named them in case I write a fanfic with myself as the main character. (Humility at its finest)
  25. Read the Most Interesting Man in the Cosmere thread. It explains a lot of what I can do.
