I can't say I fully understand how you are feeling, I'll be honest. Who is to say what matters, though? You can say what matters to you, but I can't. Sometimes the simplest thing can have more impact to somebody than anybody else might believe. I have seen so many things happen between my own friends. In most cases, the best I can do for them anymore is simply listen to them, but I have so many friends who thank me for that. I can't say I understand exactly what I'm doing. I always want to do more, and I always feel like I'm failing in that regard. Even still, sometimes just a small thought, a small amount of help can help somebody else far more than you may think. At the same time, I'll say again, that may not be the problem. I will admit that sometimes things just have to be difficult. I hope things can start going better for you in the future. As long as you do what you can, no matter how big or small, it can make a difference. A bigger difference than you might think. Sorry if that doesn't help.

So! I'm writing a story. (Actually 8, but that's irrelevant right now.) This story, called Whispers of the Ancient Stars, is by far my best one... At least in concept. Execution will need a lot of revision. Regardless, I'm working on it. I'll post a bit of what I've got, but I don't think I made everything clear enough? I can't help but feel like I've made it unclear what the conflict really is... or not made it clear how said conflict was determined? Some scenes or character reactions feel forced. Again, it's all a work in progress. Plus, I'm not sure how well I've explained the magic... Ah well. Here's Chapter 1. Ash left Scadrial, joining rogues Alene and drinking several oxygen bottles, which cost millions of spheres. Meanwhile, Simon Kholin started embezzling Archbishop Tanner of millions of Breaths that belonged to Tanavast. He brought Ash the money, but she declined because she would betray Tanavast's trust later. Tanner considered murder of chasmfiends, so Simon assassinated Venli, but brutally failed. So Venli murdered Alene, forcing the Ghostbloods to alliance with Ash. Hoid and Design and Raoden and their friends decided that Ash Needed Help. They formed a séance, Intent superseding their Connection, moccasinifying Adonalsium into shards that didn't yet manifest Their Intents. The moccasins Exploded into shards, sharp, deadly, obsidian Shards (Moccashards) that moccasined potatoes soup, delicious! Meanwhile goblins. Tigers, and, bears, oh no. Leaked Information about the moccashards. They exploded? Onomatopoeia-like-raisins, Yoda, and/or George Floyd confronted hidden doodles. Underneath mom's gravity, the Multiverse spaghettified, causing massive leakage of hidden Dragons and thorium towards the Cosmere. Ash sobs as the spaghettified thorium takes its toothpaste to reduce the hemorrhaging psychological dragon in pain. This dragon misunderstood that Ash loved isotopic saltwater, and dismantled LIFE (Linguistic-Interpretation-For-Everyone). This language is no normal spoken language, it corrupts pig liver.
