Say a person in modern day became a Skybreaker. They swear themselves to certain laws, but how strictly do they have to follow those laws? Could they break their oaths by jaywalking, for example? Could somebody change the law to make a Skybreaker accidentally break their oaths?

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

Granted, but as there is no actual thing to grant in that wish, it is also not granted. I wish to not have to get up so early. -
The fact that there is a school that decides to include an essay on the cultural meanings of something that literally means nothing, disappoints me. And makes me glad that I'm at the school that I am.

Makes sense, except Aluminum has its own effects on allomancy, so while this example could be relevant, it may not be the same as copper. A coppercloud doesn't exactly prevent allomancy, but it does hide signals of it, meaning it could hide the fact that a Shardblade has been summoned, (As previously mentioned). Somebody who is burning copper is immune to emotional allomancy, does that mean they can't be affected by a shardblade? Can prevent their limbs from being killed by a Blade? (I don't think either of those are the case.) Somebody who has easier access to RoW, could you remind me which metal is used in the suppression fabrial? (Assuming it specifies?) Is it aluminum or something else?
-
I'm not the only one that says this!! I wish that wasn't the case... or that it didn't have to be the case.

Me and my siblings were debating possible answers to the question: Could a Coppercloud block a Shardblade? My initial response was probably not block one, but stop one from being summoned? Possibly something like the Suppression Fabrials in Rhythm of War? Perhaps Living Blades are able to exist inside a Cloud? Or maybe none of those. I figured I'd bring this to the Sharders to get more input. Let me know what you think!

Does not being tired exist?

Yeah, I didn't figure it out until it was revealed. I wasn't trying very hard, because I didn't feel that suspicious of Huck. That wouldn't be the case anymore, but I didn't get terribly suspicious of a lot of characters back then.

I agree. Peaches are quite good. When I actually get myself to start eating them, anyway...

I suppose this came a bit late, seeing as we've gotten Isles of the Emberdark (Which I'm not sure we can actually bring up in this thread, but still), but I'm curious about what people's thoughts are on Cosmere-wide theories and predictions on what happens following Wind and Truth. I've been stuck on the idea of a unique form of not-warfare between the shards, each with very similar goals, but very different ways that they want to accomplish said goals. (I'd guess eliminating the threat of Retribution). The idea of Shards in a large conflict while also trying to minimize the amount of actual interaction between them is one that I am intrigued by, but I'm unsure if all of the shards would be going to war. We only know that they have targeted Retribution for being so powerful. I dunno, but I think this is a pretty apparent theory, nothing too special, but because I want speculation, Ima bring it up. Also, how are the other planets affected? Again, assuming there is a giant kinda not-war between shards, I'm going to guess that a lot of planets are siding with shards, creating lots of conflicts between worlds in the Cosmere. Anyway, curious about what people think. That's my basic lil' prediction, but I'm curious about anything you may be guessing about post WaT Cosmere, including something like how food is affected. (I really doubt that's something anybody's figured out, I kinda doubt that it'll ever be noted, but just an example of how obscure I want to go.) So yeah... What are your thoughts?

Hello! Welcome welcome! I just have to join the others in appreciation of your name. What do you believe would be the worst Cosmere planet to live on?

Literally never been sure in my life. I'm a very unsure person. I kind of know what Ookla season is... anybody want to fill me in on what exactly I should be doing?

I do believe it means "I sort of am?" But who knows? I don't know for sure...

Commslugs seem like the easiest for me to take care of. I might name it Eclectus? It's a type of parrot.

A Pineapple... is... a pineapple? It's strange how easily a single question can tear reality apart for somebody. *Whimpers*

Are you mocking me? I do that a lot, after all.

Hold up. What is this? Is this something I need to know about? Sounds amazing... Never mind. I replied to the complete wrong thing. Oops. Still applies, actually.

I didn't find my way there until act 2. Guess that makes sense though. I've already collected them, just can't beat Lost Lace yet.

I'm gonna fully trust him for that. I like to be contradictory.

From the album: Glorified Doodles during class
Drew a picture of Kaladin in class. (Don't worry, I was paying attention!) -
After much struggle, I finally hit Act 3. This is actually a bit outdated of an update, seeing as that was over a month ago, and now I'm working on the final boss of act 3. Ya know, and goofing off in various places throughout Pharloom. Can anybody join me in saying (Potential spoilers for act two, but kinda minor ones):

Granted. You now have more than enough willpower to get out of bed earlier. However, you lose the ability to physically get up earlier, so you can't get up anyway. I wish to be able to consistently be able to draw good pictures. -
Welcome to the Shard! My favorite is The Way of Kings, definitely. Followed up by The Final Empire. Just to be clear, you've read Oathbringer and so forth?
