  1. Inspired by @CoderDrag0n8's A Sentient Awakened Black Hole Frying Pan (the Maw 27 [yes there were 26 others, though only the Maw 6 is alive]) The Maelstrom card from Mistborn: the Deckbuilding Game The Advanced Military card from Eastern Empires The Haustorium card from Bios: Megafauna The Green Parasite card from Bios: Genesis @ChipsAHoid's liver The Maw 27 abilities: Can absorb anything it wants like a normal black hole Can choose not to destroy everything it touches (like me) Can use the Surges of Gravitation and Division Is a Fullborn Being bonked by it is very bad for your soul Maelstrom abilities: With one steel: Eliminate all cards from the Market With more steel: Eliminate all opponents' Allies Advanced Military abilities: In conflicts, I may choose to remove tokens from areas adjacent by land. After each round of token removal a new check for token majority must be made. I may decide to wait for other token conflicts to be resolved first In the event of Civil Disorder: Reduce 1 less city. Haustorium abilities: Gives one green cube when unpromoted When promoted, I must pick between Parasitic Plant (skeletal number becomes 0) and Parasitic Fungus (skeletal number becomes 5, and I get a mutualism bonus) Green Parasite abilities: Can be deployed as either Salmonella or Cyanobacteria Steals a blue and a yellow cube (Salmonella) or blue and a red cube (Cyanobacteria) Does double oxygen spike (any organism in the same home row with less than two oxygen resistance must atrophy) Is @The WorldHopper Taynix's greatest fear @ChipsAHoid's liver abilities: Can swap out my liver in a pinch Makes my immune system riot
  2. Named hurls red luxin at the wall, trying to slow himself down, to no avail. He slams into the wall, though not before the oobleck catches fire from Named's sword. The oobleck combusts in an explosion that throws both Named and Bartholomew back. Fortunately for Named, his armour takes some of the damage, but it is still painful. Wincing, he gets up and re-drafts his sword, which he'd lost in the explosion. There's no oxygen to burn it, except inside the rocket. That is how the rocket'll work.
  3. What do ya'll think is going to happen in Riftwake? I think: We'll get more answers on who Commander Spears really was and how M-Bot was created and ended up on Detritus. There'll be some POVs from outside Skyward Flight, possibly some aliens who used to work for the Superiority
  4. Rhynchosaurus appears twice apart from this one Side note: Neodymium is surprisingly common, apparently it's got an SE character named after it
  5. Oops In a maneuver similar to something a Coinshot would do, Named hurled red luxin downwards from the soles of his feet, and more luxin backwards from his shoulders. He ended up doing a flip mid-air, and diving straight towards Bartholomew, his flaming sword in front of him. ~ Trout, deciding that methane was very good rocket fuel, started a space program on Titan.
  6. Ohhh Also I just realised that nights aren't actually going to be very rare, since it'll be rare that the main planet is around more than one star for long. So the nights are only slightly less common, and also very sporadic. Also as soon as the civilisation can make starships they'll want to leave their star system, because there's a constant threat of being ejected from the system or being swallowed by one of the stars, or slamming into another planet. They probably won't have unique names for each star, because most people will only ever see one in the sky (if there are two, the planet burns, so no one lives to tell the tale. Usually.) and the other two just look like shooting stars on Earth. Until their version of Copernicus comes around and figures it all out. They'll have words for the 'shooting stars'. Two of them in the sky will become something like a good omen, as it means the planet is only around one star and has a nice temperature. One is very bad as it means the planet will burn. Three is very, very bad as it means the planet will freeze and it may be a while before it warms up.
  7. OVS is interesting... I also like SOV Definitely more than just sngular/plural, so we could have like singular, dual, trial, paucal, then plural. For tense, I've had this idea where instead of it being an adfix for a verb, the tense is denoted by a separate word at the start of end of the sentence whose job it is to say the tense and perhaps aspect too.
  8. It is not him. 7. This character was at least a Second Ideal Radiant.
  9. Named had no metal in him except the iron in his blood. He shedded the blue luxin on his feet and replaced it with green. He sprinted towards Ashkaloda, streaming red luxin from his shoulders and heels to propel himself faster. ~ At the edge of the arena, Sandy appeared. Careful not to interfere with the duel, he picked up one brick from the arena and disappeared again. ~ To make the duel effective in both universes, Clone began to tie the threads of the universes back together. Clone's clone in the other universe helps him. They should be done before the duel is over.
  10. "Ah. I can go get some," Sandy said before disappearing. Edit: Sandy reappeared, holding a brick in his hand. He handed it to Malevolence.
  11. Nope. I'll wait for some more people to guess.
  12. I don't know, but it is not him 6. Don't think too much about the short part, I hadn't realised they were short until I read their Coppermind page
