    The skipper chugs his beer, then notices the man at the table, and he raises his glass back

    As the days passed, he thought about what he had seen. Then, he was walking towards the docks one day, and found a public execution. On the platform, wrists bound, was the messenger. Lance gasps. Edit: this didn't happen

    Lance was conflicted. Should he report this? He didn't particularly like the king, but this was against the law.

    Lance hid around a corner and listened, the air carrying the sound to his ears extremely well

    Lance watched as the he disappeared into an alley, then quickly began to follow. Something was off about this fellow.

    The boat arrived in the other side of the river, rain coming down from the sky. He tied up the boat and looked to the messenger. "There you go. Payment?" He held out his hand

    Lance eyed the messenger, but decided to leave it. He looked out over the wide river, the smell of salt in the air and a cool sea breeze flowing around. Other boats sailed around, fishing and delivering goods. He loved the water.
