Stylan looked nervously at ceru and the other newcomer. ”We’re a team now, looks like.” He walked over to the new person, keeping a wary eye on Ceru. He extends his hand. ”Stylan. You?”

Stylan nods. "I believe you. And I will do the same." He hears footsteps. "They're almost here."

Stylan looks down. He thinks about his place here, and whether he even wanted to win this horrid contest. Then he thought about this person he was talking to. Even though they were technically enemies, they were talking as though they were allies. He looks back up. "Can I trust you? Can I trust that you'll watch my back, if I watch yours?"

"...if you say so." Stylan nervously grips his club. "Anyway, find any water? Also, how will we purify it?"

Stylan sees the person from earlier running a short distance away, and watches him warily as he disappears. Then he turns his attention to the far-off allies of @Ookla The Blazing Lion

Forest After digging for a while, stylan heard voices coming from the edge of the forest. He creeped over, and, hiding behind a tree, saw two figures walking in his direction. His eyes went wide and he ran back to @Ookla The Blazing Lion. "Two people are coming. Are they your teammates?"

Forest Stylan wakes up after a while and stretches, then takes another chunk out of his bread. He surveys his supplies. Half a loaf of bread, one and a half bottles of water (clean), 3 potatoes, one full vial of verdant spores, a nearly-full vial of roseite spores, and his roseite club. He sits and thinks about his strategy while munching on bread. Far off in the distance, he hears commotion at the cornucopia. He looks over and can just see over the trees, and sees someone running toward the forest.

“Thanks.” Stylan leans his head on the tree, crystalline club held across himself, and drifts off.

Stylan sits back in his tree, then has an idea. He pours some water on his stick, then sprinkles rosite spores all over it, making a crystalline club. He hefts it with satisfaction. It wasn’t ideal, but it would work just fine.

Stylan’s eyes go wide nervously ”he doesn’t sound that nice. Don’t tell him I’m here, would you.”

"Ah well." Stylan sees the person digging for water. "If you're looking for water, there's an oasis in the maze."

"Do you have any spare weapons? I didn't get a chance to grab any. Just this." He holds up his makeshift club.

"As far as I know. I ate one, and I'm not dead. Be careful with water though, the bottles at the start are drugged."

"That works out; I don't fancy killing you either."
