If a non-scadrian couple, both hemalurgically spiked to have allomancy, had a child, is there any chance that child could have allomancy? Since allomancy is a genetically granted ability (and only scadrians can be born with it), I am not sure if this is even possible. But I know there’s spirit web stuff at play beyond genetics…apologies if there’s a WoB out there on this.

Any thoughts on identity of the famous person she is hoping to see at SpacerCon? Would be pretty funny if it's Allomancer Jak, but the "distance travelled" comment makes me think it's an elderly person we know (Wax by this point?) or someone off world...

Any chance he’s the first to give up his shards willingly and live? Leads credence to the Discord/Kelsier thoughts.

Kind of weird we never heard of the Southern Scadrians trying to burn Harmonium. They have it…surely they would have tried. Might have met an explosive end but interesting it was never mentioned in Era 2. Interesting and a bummer because it seems like a plot hole to me. The most obvious thing a Scadrian would do is try to ingest and burn it! (Coated in oil first obviously!)

@Trusk'our what do we think Kelsier could have done with the unkeyed Dor from TLM? Was he saving that for the others 100% knowing he couldn’t really do anything with it regardless? Would it have done nothing whatsoever?

@Treamayne got it…so his shards allowed him to give the lerasium vial to Wayne straight out because he knew it would result in the smaller bomb (both Ruin and Preservation)? Giving it directly to Wax with instructions (or labels lol) would be too out of line? And so is, apparently, telling him directly (thus making Wax more likely to make more?)

Question on this exchange in The Lost Metal (ch. 66)… Wax tells Harmony “odd things have been happening to me all day. Is it an after effect of holding the Bands?” Harmony says “No. It is something else. But it didn’t work as I’d hoped.” What exactly did Harmony hope? He essentially confirmed to Wayne that Wax is a Mistborn now…was he still just hiding this revelation from Wax? Or did he “hope” it would make him even stronger? Confused me on my reread.

I do wonder who, if any, of the era 2 characters will return for era 3. I know we’ve got a decent time jump, and even Wax’s kids would be pretty old. One of my hopes is that Wax finds a way to stay young and hang around. Now that he is a Mistborn, maybe he can find a way to spike some feruchemical gold ability to himself and compound healing. Marasi not joining the Ghostbloods was interesting…but I fully expect we see her story continue SOMEWHERE, but I don’t think it’ll be in Era 3 Mistborn.

Didn’t we see that in Shadows of Self with those demented human creatures that attacked TenSoon and Wax in the tunnels? They noted they were humans but twisted (very similar to my understanding of Koloss). This seemed like Autonomy (Trell) doing their best impression of Ruin’s controllable army.

Agree on his lack of stability... Next question would be, which shard gives Taravangian the best chance of gaining more stability (and furthering his goal of ONLY shard)? Feels like that's where he would want to go ASAP - even before eliminating other threats. Also - I know lots of people think adding Autonomy would allow Harmony to better direct P & R, but is that the best option as well? Or just most likely given Autonomy's involvement in Scadrial

I still kinda think this will refer to Kelsier taking up the shards and becoming Discord to save Scadrial…to me it makes more sense with the “love him for it” piece. The Survivor coming to save the planet again?? They’d certainly love that. He has more Ruin in him and could return some Power of Preservation to the people making them stronger in Allomancy. Discord. To be fair…Probably some holes in this theory that I haven’t seen yet.

3 main things… Ghostbloods and their Cosmere-wide plans. How does the apparent colonizing future of Scadrial match up with Kelsier’s Scadrial protection-above-all-else plan entirely? I want more examples of Allomancers using the mists (or pure investiture). Always so fun and seems to be where we are heading with other forms of investiture coming to Scadrial…we think. Allomancers off-world…I want to see Kelsier send one off-world and how that magic looks elsewhere!

Believe they got that Lifelight from Lift when Mraize had her captured in the tower...

Couple questions about the two objects... I know Brandon has mentioned that the BoM are less Invested than even a normal Shardblade, but I don't really understand how that's possible given how powerful they are? Is this lack of Investiture why they have not become sentient? Is there a WoB about which of the two weapons is more powerful? WaT Spoiler:

Kinda what I was getting at with the original question…feels like they have to have a non Investiture-based technological revolution. Unless the “free” states make a deal with Retribution (which maybe they are more willing to do now that Honor is a part of the equation).

With Stormlight's fate tbd...do we anticipate this forcing Rosharans to innovate without the use of Fabrials? Thinking they will need to develop more traditional technology now. But I don't know how their fear / distrust of open flame and fire will slow that process at all. Harmony clearly is thinking about this issue with Scadrial, so I would think it's going to be massively important for Roshar as well. Curious if anyone else has already thought through this...

Apologies if this has been asked/discussed...not great at searching through yet! What exactly can a Mistborn or Misting even do with investiture? Feels like we've only seen the Mists "power" a mistborn a couple of times, so I am struggling to understand how bringing off-world investiture to Scadrial could impact them? Said differently...if a Mistborn could figure out a way to use stormlight, what would it even do? Power them without need for metals?
