  1. They sting a little bit if they're the skinny ones.
  2. GUYS Last night I came up with a plan for a dungeon That for the first time ever didn't end up backfiring in our faces and making everything harder on us Here's what happened: So we were supposed to go to this one town and stop an evil cultist, right? But we couldn't find where they were for the heck of us. So, I'm a 10th lvl diviner wizard, and so I can do basically anything magical except be useful in combat (witch bolt is still my main offensive spell). So I cast scrying on the person, because I knew their name, and saw them in some underground place chanting around a circle in the ground where a portal to another plane was opening. Not good. Wanting to break his concentration on the ritual, I cast sending, letting me open a telepathic link with this guy, and impersonated his patron, telling him to stop opening the portal. I successfully rolled the deception, so he was convinced it was me. He asked me why, and I quickly saw an opportunity. I told him that I would send him more assistance for his plans, but he needed to create a teleportation circle to let them in, and told him what rune to use. Then I ended the communication and another of our party members has the teleportation circle spell, so we created our own that linked to it and teleported directly to the cultist. When we got there, he asked us what we were supposed to help with, because he said that the Champion of Men was still holed up and when he successfully brought through the eldritch primordial to our plane, it would easily be able to defeat the Champion, who had betrayed them. We had no idea who he was talking about but told him that we would go kill the Champion ourselves, and he didn't need to summon the primordial. So he led us through the dungeon to where they had cornered the Champion, then left, and we went inside the room and found it was an ancient brass dragon. So we talked to the dragon and told it that we would help it bust out, then we returned to the cultist and his followers and easily defeated him now that we had an ancient dragon on our side and they did not have a primordial. The plan actually worked for once! AGGHGHGGGH
  3. I can probably make something close to it, given an hour or so. But I wouldn't be able to make the in-depth animations he described, just a still picture for each scene, of which I think I could find a picture for almost all of them. Any ideas for how to add the voiceovers, lacking a bunch of voice actors?
  4. No Nope 3. This character had access to an Invested art.
  5. After a bit, he stops and turns to the cabinets again, then begins opening many of them very quickly to get a general idea of how varied their contents are and if they contain anything that he could use in a way. Somebody needs to steal that orb. Erdikan stood in the shadows, listening and observing the party. After a while he frowned and began pacing. Many of these interactions were not going as he had hoped, and he itched to do something about it. He had been told not to get involved. But they had all sworn to peace here, so surely there were no ramifications that couldn't be dealt with. Surely he could help, at least a little bit. Yes, that's what he would do. So long as all went well, the others would agree with his decision. That was how they worked; they couldn't afford to punish people for doing what they thought best. His mind made, Erdikan glanced around, then approached and Rebus, who were presumably also with Erryin. "As have I," he said. "I'm not certain you want to do that."
  6. I fall over and scramble away.
  7. Nope No 2. This character was killed.
  8. I splutter as I am splashed, then whirl around and swing at @YouCantHaveMySandwich
  9. I let my security department thoroughly inspect and run tests on the pancake for anything out of the ordinary. In a faraway place, although I don't think anyone is close enough still to notice other than Everyone, my fortress rumbles as it detaches itself from the ground and begins floating upwards, causing Tell's castle to fall off of it and crumble.
  10. The dream is happy, as it finds that those who use its ideas usually ignore it afterwards. I am significantly less happy, but continue to experiment on the sandworms I have.
  11. I'm still blind, and so am clueless that I am attacking the wrong person and shout in triumph.
  12. I fold the pool noodle appendage back up into the shaft of my polearm, not wanting to do that again, and attack you with the rest of it.
  13. Sure, gimme a minute Okay 1. This character is a soldier
  14. Bartholomew uses a realllly strong magnet and your hand flies off of you and into his hand, still holding the sandwich. Could you give some sort of Invested healing ability and use some interesting soulstamp mechanics to warp its Identity into that of a frying pan shape with substance, then have it in a perpendicularity so that a constant influx of Investiture from the SR is forming substance around it, even if it is also constantly collapsing in on itself?
  15. I hear this and chop at your legs.
  16. I LOVE THIS Incredible work! You're really good at this!
  17. Is he not, perhaps, going after magic from each Shard, but each system? Or just as many Invested Arts as he can?
  18. He continues walking for a bit to see if anything changes. do all the cabinets look the same?
  19. Excellent. I applaud, but of course you wouldn't know that because you are far too far away to hear. Not to mention the lack of atmosphere.
  20. The ground in front of me bursts upward, blocking the coins from hitting me. I load Clone into a ridiculously oversized cannon and wave goodbye as they are launched into orbit.
  21. I can't see them, so I am clueless as to their existence.
