  1. Does he actually? Final verdict: It's a shardworld due to the past influence of Adonalsium, but not a major one as that influence ceased a long while ago.
  2. It is not Masaka. It's also not Azure. 1. This character does not hail from major shardworld. 2. This character is stealthy. 3. There is one piece of clothing that this character always wears. 4. Despite not coming from a shardworld, this character spends the majority of their pagecount on one. (I changed this a bit from what I originally intended because I think the first clue was throwing people off)
  3. Coppermind also has that Dob uses a pipe on Threnody I am now realizing.
  4. Ohh smart. Bartholomew, still stumbling a bit from the unexpected explosion, manages to dive out of the way. Too late, though, to stop two of the coins from hitting him. They bounce off his scales, not cutting, but with enough force to leave a nasty bruise. Grimacing inasmuch as a fish can, Bartholomew charges toward Jerome.
  5. Nay It is not Shalash, though I would consider Ashyn to be a shardworld Nope 3. There is one piece of clothing that this character always wears.
  6. No Nay Ive not read it so I’m going to assume no unless something entirely shocking happens 2. This character is stealthy
  7. I just turned up my brightness and now see an entirely different image. You're probably right about it being a cap. On another note, the scar is visible in the top right corner, along with some large blue and yellow stars near the purple moon that seem like they are more likely planets in the same system as the one Hoid is on than stars given their size, although it would be weird that all the planets are in the same small section of the sky, so I could be completely mistaken. The presence of the scar does mean that he's not on Canticle, but that doesn't narrow it down much.
  8. I agree with the flute, but what you are calling a spike looks more like the handle to a dagger or something to me. He's got the vials of gold and some darker silvery metal, which I would expect that he always carries. I doubt that it's actually gold given its relative uselessness to an allomancer, but maybe it's brass or one of the metals that we don't know what it looks like. He also has a fancy pipe. I can't recall any specific instance where someone has used a pipe in the cosmere, so perhaps that's from some new place.
  9. I would be shocked if people in-world didn't write about it, given it is presumably one of the most important sequence of events in the cosmere. It could be the Nohadon whatever it is, though I doubt it was the characters in an interview given that some of them are dead. Ofc! Any time.
  10. Looking at the image, I think I can see what look like waves to Hoid's right, so he's on a place with bodies of water. Also to his right is a sunset, normal colored, behind a ridgeline and a few clouds. In my mind, Hoid is creating a lightweaving of the planets and moons and that is why they appear that way (notice the white wisps around them). I can see no noticeable landforms on the largest sphere, and so assuming it is a planet, that would point to it being Roshar. His clothing here still looks relatively not-modern, suggesting wherever he is is not developed yet, so he is likely not on Scadrial. There is a time where all three moons are visible at once, and so unless Adonalsium designed the system otherwise, I would hazard that it is very probable all three moons and the two planets could be visible from Roshar. I don't think we can feasibly tell more from this image until we get a starchart or more information on where Hoid's going.
  11. Interpolating is used only once
  12. [WaT spoilers below] It would seem to me that the table of contents and Interlude pages would suggest that the books themselves, not just their namesake books, were written at some point in world. I'm not certain who would do such a thing—many of the scenes in the books happened privately, where only a few could have known about them. The Sleepless do spy on a lot of the events and do write the end cover text, but there a some things they could not have seen. Take Dalinar's final Ascension. How could they have known about his vision with Nohadon? If the books were to be an in-world artifact, that would suggest they were created by some unknown Invested entity that had been watching the whole time. Although, I guess that the power of Honor meets that description, so that is theoretically possible that they were written by some future Vessel of Honor (I just can't see Taravangian doing this). I can say that I recognize the glyphs behind the Part pages as glyphs referring to specific Heralds: see https://coppermind.net/wiki/Glyphs/Index I'm inclined to say that the interior cover arts are not in-world, but if the ones of the Heralds are, it's certainly possible. Most of the characters presumably would become famous after the events of the archive, so it makes sense that someone would draw/paint them.
  13. It is not that person, and I would not consider ancestors to be included.
