  1. “Which is precisely why I’m ‘cheating’, love. It makes it far easier to stall.” Egis raises her eyebrows at 9/10. As Sanguine passes through the rift, he would find himself in the exact same cave, though on the opposite side.
  2. Okay that’s pretty sick The whips thrash right through Egis, only to again find her incorporeal. She laughs, the sound echoing from all directions. “Don’t you get it already?” Her specter in front of Sanguine mouthed in sync with the words, though no noise came from it. “You can’t hurt me, because I’m not there. And you seriously thought I was stupid enough to give you a target. You can’t do a thing against me!” She laughs some more. “Just admit how clearly outclassed you are. It’s okay. Everybody fails sometimes. There’s no need to turn this lovely place,” she gestures to the dank surroundings, “into your prison.” At those final words, her echoing voice coalesces into a harsh whisper, sounding as if she was leaning over his shoulder.
  3. He feels something stab him in the side, though he can’t see what it is. Egis smirks and crosses her arms as Sanguine notices his strength slowly sapping away.
  4. The entirety of Callisto starts playing the music instead.
  5. Taeidin looks at the emptiness about him. "Are we in the right place?" @Keke The burning he felt is gone almost immediately. As he pushes outwards, he feels a resistance impeding him, before it finally bursts with a popping noise and the room disappears. The area clarifies not into Heaven, but a cave of about the same size as the room he was just in, brightly lit by braziers hanging on the walls. He can see a flash of concern cross the face of Egis's image. She lunges forward, thrusting a crystalline dagger into Sanguine's face.
  6. @Keke@Kansas Stormcursed This was the last interaction I think.
  7. “Oh. Eh, message still got across.”
  8. As the particles dispersed, Sanguine found that they were all moving in entirely different directions than he thought they would. He got the sense that they were traveling farther and closer and in every which direction in an entirely different manner. The few that did make it to Egis found it to be impossible to interact with her, but curiously, some random ones in entirely different places would occasionally run into her, he could sense. The specter of Egis looks unperturbed. She raises her hands, and Sanguine feels a burning sensation move through him.
  9. I bash the bald man in the face with a frying pan and snatch the sandwich after he collapses, side-glancing over at Clone. “I couldn’t help but notice your counterpart’s conversation. Rebus is not wrong, but he is sorely lacking for information. Narrators could indeed come here in the full extent of their powers; it has happened before, and if it did again, the Ennullers do not hold enough sway in this thread to restrict Narration. It would be catastrophic for Authors who are both active here and have a Narrator in TLT, but that applies basically only to me. The Witherlord could come here too, though the extent of his powers would be determined by our collective initial reaction to him. He can only do what we accept that he can do. If we accepted that he has the ability to destroy the sandwich, then he could. Elsewise, he could not. He cannot be contained in any way other than complete banishment from a thread itself, as he can always pass through the Void, which exists outside and separate from anything that exists in any Thread. His arrival here holds promise as a way to defeat him; the very thin amount of restrictions due to Plot would make it so others would hold an unfair amount of power over him, making it very easy to kill him in an instant. Alternatively, his arrival could also make him ridiculously ever more powerful, especially with the precedent set by the dreamscape and the Author Blade. It all depends entirely on our initial reaction.” I shrug. “Now, if people were to bring Plotblades over here, those would almost certainly have a great effect on this thread due to their nature.”
  10. My understanding is that Narration doesn’t create fields of Prismite, it utilizes the Prismite gathered in a Narrator’s core to achieve the desired effect. She glanced at him as his strike phased straight through her. Egis hesitated briefly, then the scene around Sanguine rippled, clearing to reveal a rather mundane living room. If Sanguine tried to move, he would find that he could move in place, but not relative to his surroundings. He felt multiple layers of power wash over him, though they seemingly had no effect. Egis stalked closer to him and folded her arms across her chest. Oddly, the footsteps sounded as if they were coming from a distance behind him. “You don’t understand, do you? I’m a god. I can do anything I want to you. My mercy is the only reason you still remain alive. If I were you, I would be hesitant to test it.” As she spoke, Egis’s voice seemed to orbit about Sanguine’s head. Most first-person characters there are basically Narrators already, although perhaps slightly less limited.
  11. As he sweeps towards the luminous lands waiting beneath, Sanguine feels his descent jerk to a sudden stop. “Are you deaf, or just insufferably slow? I said I can’t let you do that.” Erryin was about to teleport back into the mindscape, and Taeidin yelled to them to wait.
  12. , a complete and utter blackness
  13. I grab the actual sandwich from NerdSandwich after she is stabbed, ignoring the false 10-dimensional one.
  14. Ah. You said pest, singular, so I had assumed. “Trust me, I am very willing to fight. I was referring to reforming you from the previous you that I destroyed. Tsk, such a hassle. I don’t think Night truly understood what they were doing.” She looks Sanguine in the eye. “Let’s not do that again, yes?” I had not realized they are already in Heaven. You should probably ping Hawks about that.
  15. “Little pest?” She raises an eyebrow. “I technically created you. If you wanted privacy, maybe don’t do something that draws attention. Like, you know, genocide.”
  16. “Nah, it wouldn’t be embarrassing, it would be awesome! I would love to have fish armor to wear. Or really any armor, but fish armor would be even cooler.”
  17. Egis snaps to. “Woah there, slow down. As much as I’m all for you going and savaging some place, it would be awfully irresponsible of me to let you do that right now.”
  18. “I was under the impression that the spren controls the shape of the Blade, and the Radiant merely sends their thoughts to them at instant speed.”
  19. , making Jan stumble in surprise.

  24. Hey there! I think I've been atheist for pretty much my whole life. My mom is agnostic and my dad is vaguely a nondenominational Christian, so I was never really introduced to religion. Never went to church, never did any religious practices. As I got older, I found the concept of believing in something I had never believed in before to be strange without any concrete proof. The area I live in is very culturally diverse for the US (not even a Christian majority), so holidays are weird for me - I usually end up celebrating Christmas, Diwali, and Lunar New Year, because those are what a lot of people I know celebrate. I'm lucky in that there are a decent enough amount of atheists here that it's never really been an issue for me.
