Indeed, it has...shall we say, certain effects on the health. What I want is to be able to infuse my baked goods with magic effects, like healing or motivation or awakeness or such. That would be a cool less-seen magic power.

If you just sneezed because you are allergic to almonds but drank the drink anyway I will smack you *squints threateningly* Fancy drinks only supposed to look like suspicious eldritch potions, not actually cause their effects! However if just normal season allergies, I have different drink for that! How do you like...Gollum Juice????

Yus - I is not child. I is proud weird being with baked goods! And other dessert things, honestly, I just like experimenting. Anybody want a London Fog made with vanilla almondmilk? That was today's experiment. (Turns out almondmilk doesn't fluff as well as regular milk does.) Today we're making fancy drinks! Ooh, I should make baked goods to go with the fancy drinks! Hello there! Welcome! Come join the chaos! also also also I see in your signature that you too know the power of... LOVE...AND...PEACE! And it is indeed dangerous to go alone. So per this group's behavior, take hugs with you! (Do you accept hugs? If not, you'd better speak up, because we give lots of hugs here!)

*grabs another sword and blocks stabbings* I'll admit you're taller than me if you go to bed. If you don't go to bed, I'll slice a bit off the bottom of your feet to make sure you aren't. What's it gonna be???

Pshah, they hardly function anyway. Besides, we can replace them with metal limbs. Just think how much more satisfying it'll be to kick people with metal feet!

Would you prefer a rapier or a katana? I think katana is better for cutting off knees, it's a slicing weapon. Rapiers are more stabbing weapons. Eh, you know what, just have both! *gives second sword*

No no Haly, he's contrary by nature. If you tell him DO THE THING, he'll dig his feet in and never do it. But if you tell him "You'll never actually go to bed, you just don't do that, there's no way you actually will" then even though he knows it's a trick, he'll start wanting to anyway. It's hilarious.

*smacks* If that's what you think, then the only person you cheated is yourself, by tricking yourself into believing that you can only see it by a trick, instead of because you can legitimately see it. So there!

ok I'm randomly jumping in even though I don't really belong in this group sorry BUT I yelled at books and characters and plots and authors for YEARS before I ever even heard of Sanderson. Webcomics and manga especially are targets for my exclamations. Also, having to stop reading and get up and move around because there's TOO MUCH EMOTION and I CAN'T SIT STILL. Also, have you seen Book Goblin on youtube? Forget yelling; she threatens books with cast-iron pans. "Yanagawn the First, Prime Aqasix, Emperor of all Makabak, was sleeping."

Not at all! Please join. Welcome! Very important question: Are you ok with hugs? Because we give a lot of hugs. *slowly starts opening arms and inching closer* A couple things I want to say. BUT I didn't ask first whether you want advice or just comfort and a listening ear SO go ahead and ignore if you don't want advice/commentary. It's good to be able to recognize that your dad has his own issues, and that those issues are a large part of what's causing him to treat you badly. But the fact that he has reasons for it does not negate or lessen the harm that he's doing to you. It doesn't excuse it. It is ok to feel angry and hurt by the harm he's doing you. It's usually not helpful to let your own emotions take control and take it out on him - or to take it out on yourself - but it's ok, and normal, and right, to feel like he's doing wrong, when he is. Also: Remember that anything he says that stems from his own issues isn't true. Any abuse that comes from his own struggles is filtered through the lens of his imperfect perception and how he (incorrectly) sees the world - which means you shouldn't give it a second thought. (We do anyway, cuz that's how our brains work, and because we're wired to care what others think, but remind yourself of that when you do.) The same way that we with depression have to screen and filter our thoughts for "is that true, or is that just the depression talking" - you have to screen what he says, remember that a lot of it just isn't true. If you're having trouble telling, ask someone else. "My dad says I'm this, my dad says that, and I feel like he's right but I can't tell - can you tell me what you think?" Any of us on here would be happy to help you with that. We want you to see that you are amazing and valuable and loved. Remember: The things he says from his own disabilities aren't true. When he devalues you and disparages you, it's not true. I know this sounds cliche and corny and just saying the words probably doesn't do much, but I'm going to say them anyway - you have worth and value regardless of your weight, regardless of your ability to focus, regardless of your emotional state; you are a person deserving of being loved. We here, we like having you around. You're worth loving. Apologies if that's things you've heard before, or if you didn't want commentary. All in all, I think you'll fit in here just fine, and I'm so glad you came to join us. We remember you. We're glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. "the feeling is still there and I know it'll go away again, but it's also going to come back." Yeah. It sucks...but it doesn't always. To quote Wit, "You will be warm again." And we'll do whatever we can to help you find warmth, and we'll sit with you when you're tired. I wish I could add more words, but what I really want to do is just sit down with you and...be there. Tired doesn't need words; it needs warmth. So, this is me, saying "Hi, I'm here, I'm listening. I care, I remember you, and I'll stay with you." Fun. Yes. That's definitely the word. I laughed so hard at your layered sarcasm. Literally layered Ok one additional note: Any of y'all are WELCOME to PM me if you want to talk through something. I don't usually offer because I'm not online very often, and usually not at the times other people are online, and my home life means I often can't stay long. So I can't usually stay online and talk live. But I would be SO HAPPY to have an ongoing conversation if you're ok with it being in slow-time. I will read everything you send me and respond to it when I'm next online.

Honestly though, no, there's no one who doesn't belong here. This group is for everyone and anyone who wants support. It's nice finding people with similar struggles/differences/etc, but everyone can use mental health support.

There's not much significance. It went semi-viral because the girl who made it wasn't a singer or popular celebrity or anything when she did so, she just had rich parents who paid a bunch of money to have professionals come in and film and record for their daughter's song. But it went somewhat viral, and for a while anytime anyone said "Friday", someone would start singing this song as evidenced by KnightSkye's response haha Oh, ok! ...I need to start bullying my library. I've wanted to read MHA for several years, and my library doesn't have volume one. It has other volumes. But not volume one. For...reasons, I'm sure.

My husband spent over a year following a forum that posted that song every single Friday. The group was about something completely unrelated, but every single Friday that song had to be linked. He also subscribed to a group that was "this specific picture of a tree." One specific picture. Posted every day. The same picture. He's a bit of an odd person.

I am SO SORRY for this. In advance. Really. Sorry. It's Friday! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfVsfOSbJY0 REALLY SORRY Oooooooooh nice! House to yourself, house to yourself! Oh oh candles are so fun to chew on! But only if they're the right wax, paraffin is too flaky. Soy wax is acceptable, beeswax candles are AMAZING IT'S ONLY BAD FOR YOU IF IT'S PARAFFIN Most wax is non-toxic - not digestible, but not harmful to your system in small amounts. Candles made of beeswax are especially good. Candles can also be made out of tallow and eaten as an emergency food ration! And they're so fun to chew on!! *nom nom nom* All of those timing games. That stupid Perfection game. With the buzzing timer and the giant POP sound if you don't complete it fast enough and it throws the whole board at you. Bop-it I can either hyperfocus on and do FANTASTIC, or I overstimulate and crash into anxiety. It's like I ride the edge of adrenaline with it, and it either goes into fun game adrenaline or it flips into anxiety. And it can flip at any time. Generally not worth it unless I'm understimulated and need a high-adrenaline thing. Hawks? @Thee insane, do you go by Hawks, or have an RP character by that name or something? Or just a special interest in hawks?

Hi, welcome! Which do you like better, Stormlight or Mistborn, and why? ...*squints suspiciously* Well, what is your opinion of pineapples on hamburgers? Hey! *smacks playfully* No gatekeeping! But on that note - what do you think Cultivation's metal should be called??? Because I really want to see people in-universe calling it Koravelliumium .
