Interesting. I'm not sure what I think of it's ability to move around, as that seems strikingly different from other perpendicularities that are tied to geographic location, but it makes sense if it moves with the highstorm.

Well, we know that at some point someone was able to do it. We also know that the intents of the shards can be directed (We see this with Dalinar and Honor). Also one main plot point in Brandon's book is the acceptance that no one can be perfect, I mean the Sibling bonding with Navani was literally the acceptance that no one would completely embody the ideologies of something shaped by human perception.
we do not know that someone was able to do it. Arcanum is being wonky right now, but we have no idea the origins of Adonalsium or if he (/she/they/it) was a human, sho del, dragon, or pure Investiture. I think that if the OG Ado hadn't shattered, it ould have been really hard/impossible for anyone to take up the full sixteen without some sort of magical preparation, and even if they picked it up they might just have the power of Harmony.

I feel like, if there were a character archetype for this idea, it would be a Trust Fund Baby - making sure they never have to actually work a day in their lives/stretch the trust fund through compound interest and you can live your hobbies as long as you have Cadmium.
they could also, if they were rich enough, just hire a pulser, or invite a pulser to live with them and fund their cadmium and stuff, as long as they burn 24/7

The CoS cover really looks like they caught Chuck Norris (I guess) practicing for an upcoming boxing match. (Jake Paul's newest opponent?)
necro-ing much?
if treamayne or a mod doesn't swoop in, "necroing" is just reviving a very old post without new info or context to do so, but I guess its probably fine for such a casual topic

I'm not alone!
I also do Scouts, and in this one camp called NYLT there's a rule called "no cover under cover," basically you cant wear any head coverings (excluding religious head coverings) under roofs or in buildings and stuff... whenever I come back from staffing it I keep that habit for the next month or so.

Though if you're over 16 and want to just go to the Worldhopper Ball, there are still some tickets for that (A nexus badge isn't required).
I saw that last year there was a 17s table. Is that happening this year too???

Hello fellow internet goer! Whats you favorite book not by brandon?
Do you want a cookie?
I know you already said no, but it can't hurt to ask again. we have all the flavors. from sugar cookie to oatmeal raisin to chocolate chip and everything in between.
More of one of those things that makes you join a cult. but thats not important. the point is, the cookies are really good.
So glad I never ate a cookie

I haven't been in this fandom that long. About a year and a half now. I enjoy reading along with podcasts to force myself to take the time to properly analyze what I read instead of letting myself devour the content. The sheer amount of post its on my wall can attest to that.
So far, I've read:
-The stormlight archive: books 1 to 4 (including edgedancer and dawnshard)
-Warbreaker
-Yumi and the nightmare painter
-The emperor's soul
-Shadows for silence in the forest of hell
-Mistborn era 1: 1 and 2 .
I know it doesn't seem very consistent (laughs), but I can explain!
I started reading WOK with a podcast I was listening to (the Duke and the duchess). They started with it, so I did as well. And so I read Warbreaker afterwards (like they did). I read the final empire after oathbringer. After ROW, I realized I should read all of Mistborn before WAT.. so I took up Mistborn again. Along the way, I read some things from the Arcanum and Yumi. I'm now following a different podcast (because they also started with WOK, Following Nohadon).
may we meet again,
The Rambling Rook
