I actually quite liked the chorus, though I do think that the synth voice was a bit odd, and I do see your point about the genericness of "feel the thunder", but I just love that thundery drumbeat.
(ETA: How d'you feel about this version?)
Though I must say: Am I the only one who got a Coldplay vibe from the guitar riff at the end of Walking the Wire?
Frankly, I'm fine with postponing it so I can go too. I just didn't want to stress y'all out with having to reschedule on my account.
I'm less miffed about working Thursdays than I am about the fact that I literally close every shift I work again. I loved having it mixed up a little.
Are you kidding? I loved Thunder! Agreed about the other three, though. The ones I'm on the fence about are I Don't Know Why and maybe Dancing in the Dark.
I don't really follow the Killers, so... I'll look it up soon, I guess?
Ha! Ha! Ha.
Yeah. I'm now closing Thursdays.
Y'all don't have to worry about rescheduling, I can wait 'til the next one (or I might be able to trade with someone. We'll see.).
@Computer peoples here:
Is it worth the headache of trying to partition this darn thing? Or should I just write over everything (including the previous OS), since I believe all the essential files are elsewhere and the most I stand to lose is a bunch of random files?
ETA: I did a thing. I don't know if it's the right thing. I don't even know if I know what the thing is. But here's hoping everything isn't stormed to pieces.
ETA2: It didn't work. Hooray for erasing the drive, then! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Eeeeee!!! Concert was amazing! (setlist if you're interested)
Here are some pics:
And an admittedly low-quality video (audio's all right) of one of their unreleased songs, "Right as Rain", courtesy of my mother:
Oh, I can't remember if I've got any Mayflower ancestry. I've some cool ancestry otherwise, but I don't like to talk about it too much -- from my perspective, my saying "I'm descended from these cool peoples" comes off as bragging, and I worry that it might seem that way to others as well.
