Willshaper, because although I'd fit the Lightweavers almost as well, the Willshapers are the "most varied" of the Orders, and I love their Surges more (Sorry, Shallan...).

Mine comes from the fact that I have a three-second attention span. I'll set about doing something, say "alright, now, focus" and the next second I'm wondering how I'd go about raising an army of llamas.

Oh, wow. I never imagined I'd get so many responses. Thanks a lot! Swimmingly: I think I just found my new magic outline. Laughing Fool and lyht: I'm working on cost right now and that helped a lot. Sir Jerric: The way the commands work depends on the person: Poetic phrases or sharp and direct phrases for different people. If someone was musically inclined, they could sing the phrase.

Biggest "what-the-heck" moments for me were Denth, Sazed, and the Parshmen. But by far the biggest was in Hero of Ages when Elend died. I had been forewarned about the other deaths, but that one was rewarded with a minute of stunned silence and then lots of screaming. -
So I've been toying with a magic system for a while. It involves verbal commands to accomplish tasks, control objects/elements, etc. The more eloquent the command, the more powerful it is. That's all I've got. I've been trying to write a full length novel for some time now and I just need a magic system before I start. Thus, any help and/or criticism would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Aw, man. I was working on a magic system based on wordsmithing, too. Oh, well. I agree with all that has been said so far. Wonderful ideas, all of them. -
Cloak And Dagger Cloak: A Coppercloud/Zinc combination. And: Yes, there's a member named 'And.' It's short for Andrew. He's the centerpiece of the group, being a Brass/Duralumin combo. Dagger: A Coinshot/Skimmer, is the warrior of the trio. Kingsley Albersnagle: Yes, I know. I got it off a random name generator. He's the crew's go-between for the upper classes of Elendel, and a Tineye.
