Trust me. You can't please everybody; there's always going to be people who disagree or just unpleasant. Just keep up the good work! Whether it's your personality, or some project you're working on, or an opinion or viewpoint, it's worth something to someone, and that makes all the difference. The blogs are cool, and in my opinion get too little love, but is there a reason they are completely void of nifty features? Like seriously, the coolest thing I can do there is add my profile pic to the sidebar. Maybe this is why several people have made blogs, but have kind of awkwardly trailed off after a post or two. Maybe it's because everyone is too busy posting. I don't know. Mods, some insight into this matter would be most welcome.

Edge, I just read your post. I can already tell that Timelock and the Metal... let's just say it's unlikely that they'll ever get along.

Can't move. How. Dare. They. Can't move. Who did these people think they were, with their "holier than thou" attitudes? Can't move. Oh, what he wouldn't do to them once he was free, whether or not he actually could do anything. Can't move. Calm down. Deep breath. Don't blow it; stay calm. All things good to those who wait... Still. Can't. Move. He sat fuming for a while, doing his best to rein in the urge to explode. It wasn't that he was trying to be a good person and not kill people. Oh no, he wanted these Epic dead and he wanted it now. But killing everyone in sight didn't seem to be a terribly efficient way to conquer a city. He wanted -- needed -- people to rule over. Free. Finally able to move, Timelock froze time and zipped back to the hotel. ~~~ Timelock stood perched atop the bridge, looking out over the city. He had come up here after delivering his findings to the other Epics, using his enhanced dexterity to make a climb that would've daunted lesser beings. He had arrived at the hotel scarcely a second after leaving the Epics, or so it appeared. In reality, Timelock had taken his sweet time, thinking about the newcomers. Gravitas and the other Epics had seemed troubled by the news. After a quick good-bye, the group had gone their separate ways. Now, on top of a bridge in the cool night air, Timelock was putting his full brainpower into scheming.

So basically one in-game day has passed, so it's time to wrap everything up and pack everyone off to bed? I haven't had much sleep, can you tell? Okay then. I guess just assume Timelock booked it back to his hotel room and told people about things? At this point, you should be able to tell. I guess a two-part post is in order: part one, what happened after his run-in with the other Epics, and part two, the present. The bags under my eyes could hold Walmart's entire store of groceries at this point.

Um... [insert i-have-no-clue-whats-going-on-please-dont-kill-me emoticon here] So true. To be honest, I'd actually rather be at Oregon, in the RP-verse, than do more Trig.

So anyways. Sorry about not posting to Astoria, various factors (including, but not limited to: school, a lack of sleep, and writer's block) have forced me to go on a mini-hiatus. I'll try to read through the new posts and write something up soon. Maybe get it posted next Saturday at the very latest. Wow. Who knew destroying a state was so much work?

I know I said weekend would work best, but my cousin's totally booked the 30th, and is willing to come the 26th. Personally I should be able to go to either day. Who is providing food, and who is planning to be there? There were some people expressing interest a page ago, but haven't heard from them in a while.

I doubt I'll RP and stuff, but I am DEFINITELY joining. I'd like to see anyone, Herald of Justice or no, try and stop me. Books before friends. 17th Shard before the real world. Release dates before birthdays. I will not fail to recognize the Reconerverse in spite of the Cosmere. (Do I swear all of them now or wait?)

...do you not have a window? Ouch. Even with a storming sign on my door, nobody seems to knock. Annoying. -
The likelihood of me being able to bring other people increases by leaps and bounds if it's on a weekend and there's pizza.

*bumps* So, we are now comfortably into May, are there any plans? 'Cause the two times we did it were pretty fun, and if we could get a good amount of people showing up, it would be even better.
